We’re not travelers with high expectations to begin with, and we went there knowing the house’s conditions. The place was exactly as described. It would have been more than enough for two people; for two adults and two kids it felt a bit small, but it wasn’t a problem for us at all. The location is great, and the host was very attentive. It would be nice if they could find a different solution regarding the garbage on the last night, though, because on the check-out day we couldn’t find a proper place to throw away the trash. We ended up taking it to a bin a few streets away, but I think they could offer a more practical solution. Also, the check-out time could be a bit later—11:00 is quite early to leave the house.

I'll start by saying that the location is probably the best possible in Madrid. Everything was walking distance and we didn't even use the metro. That was definitely the highlight! Also, the place was very clean, which is always appreciated. On the night when we arrived there was a mix up with the keys and we weren't able to enter the apartment. This was hard after a long flight, but someone came quickly to help us out. After that we found out one of the 2 showers wasn't working, which, since I told the hosts they were super responsive and wanted to send someone over to fix it! It didn't work out with our tight schedule and since we had another shower it was ok. Another thing about is that there's no shampoo and we couldn't wash our hair. They said it's intentional and if we buy shampoo they'll reimburse us, but when you arrive at night after a long flight that's not really relevant. So I think this should be mentioned. Overall good, but more attention to detail would make it great!

Great location and perfect apartment. Having two bathrooms was very nice. There is a door between the bedroom and the livingroom/kitchen space, which was also nice when one of us was up late or up in the middle of the night. There are many, many restaurants within a very short walk, and many sites and museums also with in a very short walk (try The Museum of Light for a wonderful surprise). Marta and Enrique are VERY responsive and made our nine night stay easy as could be.

We had a pleasant time. I stayed in this accommodation, ideally located in Madrid. public transport, metro and bus are easily accessible and close. The accommodation is quiet and the terrace is very pleasant for having breakfast or meals outside. n We recommend this accommodation for a stay in Madrid of a few days.

    The main tenant, who makes the reservation, is responsible for all accompanying guests. As of 2025, this property cannot accommodate tenants coming to Madrid solely for tourism. We can only host groups whose main tenant declares a purpose other than tourism: professional, work-related, academic, teaching, medical, congress attendance, cultural, remote work, etc. For this reason, we must sign a contract stating the purpose of the stay. No further explanation is required. The contract must be kept in the apartment and shown upon request. Additionally: Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of the contract and immediate eviction without refund. If a private security guard or the police must come to the apartment, we will charge €250 for the call-out service. Please respect your neighbors’ rest. Do not make noise in the stairwells or inside the apartment: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a noise law in Madrid, with cash fines exceeding €300 per person. It is prohibited to leave garbage in the apartment. Every night, there are grey bins with orange lids on the street. Use the yellow lid for packaging, and the brown lid for organic waste. The last night is especially important. Taking garbage out in the morning is not allowed. If we must remove it ourselves, the cost is €25. If you cook, you must clean the utensils you used. Towels are for personal drying only. They are not cloths or wipes for makeup or shoes. The cost of unusable towels due to misuse is €20. Clothes may not be hung on balconies or exterior windows. Use the drying racks provided. For rentals of 28 days or more, the tenant will be responsible for utility costs exceeding €100 (electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning...). Only declared tenants may enter the property. The presence of unauthorized individuals is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and eviction. In compliance with national security law, we are required—because it is mandatory—to collect guests' information to submit it to the police. We will require a photo of an official ID. For self check-ins, a selfie is also required. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. The fine is €300 out of respect for others. If keys are lost, we must change the lock. The cost is €120. A welcome pack is provided and usually lasts two days. We do not supply items for the entire stay. It includes: shower gel, kitchen cloth, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). We can offer late check-in, but we have decided to charge: €20 from 21:00 to 22:00, €30 from 22:00 to 00:00, €50 from 00:00 to 01:00, and €100 after 01:00. If the tenant violates the rules, they acknowledge that they lose the right to remain in the apartment and will not receive any refund.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
