Fantastic little apartment, in an exceptionally good location close to restaurants and bars, and in a quiet location. The host was so helpful with entry instructions and recommendations. However, the one downside is that somewhere nearby is a club, and you can hear the bass strongly through the walls even with headphones in and podcast playing! Not for people who don’t cope well with sleep deprivation!

Cool studio in a great location. The studio was easy to get to, very clean and comfortable. The bed was nice, as well as the sheets and towels. It tends to be a little cool. I think it might be really nice in the summer. The owners are very responsive, quite nice. The mini patio is a bit loud with the air conditioner unit. Some nights you can hear the the boom boom from a near disco, earplugs were handy.

We had a great stay at Marta Y Enrique's apartment. The accommodation is the perfect size for a couple or single person to stay at. Good location in La Latina that is close to a ton of different restaurants, bars, and shops, as well within a 5-10 minute walk of multiple Madrid Metro stations stops. The hosts are super communicative and helpful, I appreciated that very much. I highly recommend Marta Y Enrique's place, great value for the money.

The apartment is lovely. It is in a beautiful area of Madrid with all the important places to visit very close. It was very clean, the bedding is very comfortable and it had everything you need to have a perfect stay. I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Madrid. Thank you so much.

The place was exactly as described in the photos , very cozy and clean. We also liked our neighborhood very much, which was very close to everything on foot. The host was very responsive and provided us with all the information we asked for. Overall we had a great stay in the apartament and we definitely would come back.

The place was absolutely perfect and the location was fantastic. I *highly* recommend it if you want to experience life like a true Madrileño. It’s ideal for walking to the city center, and there are plenty of buses that take you anywhere you need to go. The neighborhood feels vibrant and authentic, with great cafés, local shops, and a really welcoming vibe. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a smooth stay. Honestly, I’d come back in a heartbeat — it really made my trip to Madrid feel effortless and special.

The pro's: Superb location -- walkable to most of the main sites but away from the hustle. The apartment was the perfect little spot to cook breakfasts and then come back to after a day of exploring. The cons: there was really loud music playing every night (Fri-Tues) that was audible with ear plugs from the bed, we suspect from a bar nearby. As someone who's noise sensitive it made it difficult to fall & stay asleep.

the accommodation is very well located to do a lot of things on foot it is faithful to the photos, not very big but very well arranged! we were 2 adults and a child and it was fine only small downside: soundproofing in the building, you can hear the neighbours a little and the surrounding bars at the weekend I recommend this place and thank the hosts for their hospitality and advice!

Great location, super close to the metro station and a lot of shops, restaurants and bars. The nice small table outside was perfect for morning coffees. There is a lot to do around the area and there are plenty of coffee places to find out and look at. The sofa bed isn’t the most comfortable place to sit or lay down but i guess if you are two people only and you are both on the bed which is very comfortable you will be fine. Thanks for having us!

The accommodation is just like in the photos, it is very nice and tastefully decorated. The location was very good, in my case I walked a lot and enjoyed the walk. It has everything you need nearby (supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, bars, etc.). The only detail that caught my attention is that on Sunday and Monday you could hear music from a place like a "bar/club". The accommodation is super quiet, very quiet and the neighbors are very respectful. I guess being in a flashy location, there will obviously be parties around. The sound you can hear is not so loud, but it can be a con for other people who may like to sleep in silence. I would definitely rent Marta and Enrique's place again. Communication was very active and attentive to the guest's needs. The only thing that could be improved is a kitchen towel to dry the dishes or, failing that, a dish rack/dryer. Thank you!!

The host was very responsive, sent YouTube link for a easy check-in process, Google map links and gave lots of suggestions for area restaurants and cafes. Checked in with me everyday to make sure everything was fine.

Stayed 3 nights - location was great and easy walking to main squares. Patricia was always responsive and even booked our taxi to airport. The only minor cons were: better futon mattress and would have helped if washer also had a dryer. Would definitely book again! Thank you, Mary, Rick and Matteo

We had a good stay overall. The apartment is spacious with a kitchen, which made it seem perfect for a longer visit. The bed was very comfortable with memory foam, and the location is excellent: central, in a nice neighborhood, and close to everything. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, checking in regularly and answering all our questions quickly. That said, there were a few downsides. The shower door leaks quite a bit and because of the way it’s mounted, it can’t really be adjusted, so the bathroom floor often ended up with a pool of water. The fridge looks great but is extremely noisy, which made it difficult to ignore. The nearby nightclub runs from around midnight until early morning, so light sleepers should be aware of the noise. Lastly, the terrace looks inviting, but dripping condensation from the AC above meant we couldn’t really use it. Overall, it’s a nice place with very kind hosts and a great location, but some practical issues kept it from being perfect.

It was a pleasant stay. The host is very responsive and helpful. We had a problem with the wifi and it was immediately taken care of. The house has everything it needs. You can do a lot within walking distance. And there is a supermarket at the end of the street, very convenient. As the other reviews indicate, there was indeed sometimes a smell in the bathroom. There is also a lot of noise from outside at night. But we had already read this in the reviews and were therefore aware of it.

Great location, lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood and easy to get to most tourist attractions from here. Small unit but enough space for two people to fit comfortably. Easy check-in instructions and Marta was very responsive. Only issue we had was that the bathroom shower leaked lots of water out as the drain backed up quickly and the glass door did not keep the water in. Had to use all our small towels to keep the surrounding floors dry after showering. The drain/door either needs to be fixed or provide more towels.

This apartment was great value for money and was situated in the perfect spot for exploring Madrid. Initially we struggled to locate the correct apartment and had to call the host who was responsive and tried to help despite it being out of hours. Local recommendations were appreciated and the apartment was clean and tidy with great kitchen space and facilities, the fridge was stocked with bottles of water for our arrival which was a kind gesture. We did have issues with the shower flooding very quickly and a very flimsy door, small improvements could be made but overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location and enjoyed walking to museums, restaurants, and iconic places. Our hosts were especially responsive and helpful via messaging. We did struggle with the washing machine—its cycle mechanism was broken—and the troubleshooting steps were not intuitive to a non-European. But, overall, a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Stay here as only for 2nights before heading off elsewhere. It was such a lovely place to stay. Martha and Enrique we're very helpful especially with check in as I had a late flight. They had organised the cab for me before my arrival. The location is lovely. A lot of places to visit are within walking distance. Definitely will come back here again. I wanted to spend a long time in Madrid. Only thing was I don't think there was a little dust pan and broom, just to help clean up any messes that could of been made. Other than that, great place and location to stay

We stayed there for 5 nights, the location is great, everything was clean and tidy. However, in the first two days, there were 2 cockroaches in the room. The landlady took care of it and gave us repellent against cockroaches. All in all, a nice 6 days in Madrid.

Perfect accommodation in every way that allowed us to have a great time in Madrid! The location of the apartment is really ideal, surrounded by small bars more typical of each other (not to mention the markets) where you eat both breakfast and tapas throughout the day! The metro is just 3 minutes from the property and a nonstop convenience store on the corner. The neighborhood is bubbling with life but the accommodation is very quiet because it is on the back of the building. If you are looking for an apartment in a neighborhood where the authenticity of Spain reigns, this place is for you! Finally, Marta and Enrique were very kind to us, always available when needed. The instructions for finding the keys and accessing the listing were clearer. Stay 5 ⭐ no doubt!

Many things are within walking distance, 2 bakeries and supermarkets as well as metro and bus stop nearby. Check-in/out and communication with hosts is straightforward. A very good option for a stay in Madrid.

The apartment is small but cozy and very clean and has everything you need for a stay in Madrid, including air conditioning that can cool and heat. It is located on the ground floor, i.e. you do not have to drag your luggage up stairs, but also should not expect the maximum light flooding. The location is great, you are on a quieter street, but still right in the action in beautiful La Latina with its many restaurants and bars. There were also sounds in the apartment from time to time at night, but only quiet. For a stay with two people it was a good option.

Really lovely place very close to the center I was able to walk most places. Really easy check in and out process. Only thing was that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear neighbours both nights when I was trying to sleep. Marta is really lovely and had quick replies whenever I had questions and also sent through recommendations for the area!

Apartment well located in La Latina . Close to the subway, lots of local bars and restaurants, safe and pleasant neighbourhood. Communication with hosts has been easy. Overall good experience. If anything, we just could hear music on Friday & Saturday at night, but we were tired enough after going out to sleep anyway. But if you have a light sleep, this is to be considered.
