AC did not work. We notified host within an hour of arrival. Stayed 3 nights and it was never fixed. Place was full of flies when we arrived so someone had clearly left the windows open for an extended time (ie HIGHLY likely host knew of issue in advance). Host failed to rectify and did not move us to a unit with functioning ventilation. AC is key in como lago given the hot climate. Other than that the apartment is nice. But that is a large “other than that” when it’s too hot to fall asleep!! Would not use this host again.

This Airbnb was right in the heart of Como and allowed us to have easy access to many restaurants, shops, sites, and more. We loved hearing the bells from the Duomo. We did sleep with the windows open because it was a little warm during the day and we could not get the air to work, and the busy city could be a little noisy, but it was to be expected in that area. The Airbnb was clean and spacious and had everything we needed! (Except washcloths, but I think that is an American thing).

Great location, walkable to Como Lago train station in 5 minutes. The bus and ferry routes are also within a few minutes walk. Many restaurants nearby. The space was clean and clutter free, with a large bed and sofa (if needed). Airbnb host was responsive, helpful, and clear with instructions.

Very nice apartment, unbeatable location right in the center of Como. Check-in and check-out of the apartment is very easy, as it works with a code. The apartment is exactly as described. The sink works very well. Super comfortable bed. We would definitely go back

Location, cleanliness and aesthetics of the apartment are great but not the rest. Constant reminders to fill the check-in form despite that it was already done. No check-in instructions were sent and the host was completely unresponsive while I waited outside the building for 45 minutes (which resulted in missing my bus to another location and forfeiting my bus ticket) until I had to make an international call to the managing company. The reason was that they didn’t have my email address when they had sent yet another reminder email that morning to complete the check-in form. Upon check-in, the wifi didn’t work and despite turning it off and on immediately, after a few minutes (as the host instructed) and overnight, it still didn’t work and remained the case the whole stay. The wall panels for the aircon also didn’t work and the heaters could not be turned on until 15 Oct by law so it was freezing cold every night. Stay if you like the location and aesthetics but you’ve been warned.

Wonderful weekend stay! The location of the apartment is very walkable to the train station and ferry pickup/drop off, even with our luggage we managed just fine. The hosts were very communicative from start to finish and made check-in a breeze. The loft style apartment afforded us plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped with anything needed to cook. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Como!

It’s very clean and spacious in living room area with high ceiling. However, the shower and the upper floor bedroom are very small and low in height. Even for someone who’s 4’11 and I kept bumping side to side in the shower whenever I’m turning. My 6’3 boyfriend hit his head quite a few times when entering the upper floor bedroom. We almost slipped and fell going up and down the metal staircase a few times as well, especially when we needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. WiFi was slow & almost nonexistent most of the time. Other than those things mentioned, we liked the place and it’s good value comparing to other smaller hotel rooms nearby for the same price.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's an absolutely stunning flat, BEAUTIFUL palazzo …offering a beautiful Italian-style experience of Como. The flat inside this palazzo is right in the heart of Como but provides a real space of calm and quiet. We greatly appreciated the air conditioning too! The space was absolutely spotlessly clean and the hosts are very responsive, someone else said in their review that it feels like staying in a hotel and we definitely agree. They kindly set up the beds for our two kids in the living room and this worked well. Kitchen was very clean and well equipped with lovely crockery. Such a great experience, thank you!

This is my 2nd visit to this great property. Right in the heart of Como perfect location in a safe, private building. Literally 60 second walk to the lake and full of surrounding restaurants and bars. Property is right in front of the Domo which is beautiful to wake up to. Inside the unit is modern and has everything including a nice coffee machine which they provide. The unit is one of many managed by the same company on a private floor of the building. The fact that they have multiple units also make it a great option for large families. For this trip we had 3 units all right next to each other to fit our large family. It feels more like staying in a nice hotel. Highly recommend!!!

From start to finish, everything was very easy. The host was extremely friendly and communicative. The area was in a square that was just a one minute walk to the lake and near a beautiful cathedral. We lived our stay and will definitely book again!

The accommodation is extremely well located, you can do anything on foot from there as far as the historic center and the lake is concerned. Next to the Dome, with shops nearby everywhere. It was very clean, spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The only small negative point was the lack of natural light. The place is also very secure and the welcome was warm. Recommended!

This was the best Airbnb I have definitely stayed at, clear entry instructions, in the pure heart of Como, a 15 minute walk to the San Giovanni train station, close to a taxi stand, with many restaurants, pharmacies, the post to buy ferry tickets and the boarding place super close by, also to go to the Funicular and visit Brunate. Also near an exquisite Ice Cream Shop called Lariana and an amazing place where they do your clothes, and even they fold them! Laundry Sant'Agostino da Lilly. The apartment is super clean, the bed delicious, the soft cloths, the bathroom was super clean, smelled delicious, hot water, all exquisite. The place is beautiful, private, quiet, perfect to slow down and rest from nature and how beautiful it is. 100% recommended to stay at this Airbnb!

The apartment is very good, new, modern, as described and photos. It is very clean, the air conditioning works well without making too much noise, it's appreciated. The location is exceptional: close to the ferry boat and also to the city center and all restaurants. In addition, we were welcomed on site, and before our arrival we had information about the existence of the "bag parking" which allowed us to manage our schedules with those of the apartment is extremely convenient, we used it on arrival and departure! Also, we enjoyed the small touches on arrival (coffee pods next to the coffee machine, water in the fridge upon arrival, sofa bed prepared as a bed for children) and certain items like the presence of a washing machine. In short, the stay at this apartment was really great, we absolutely recommend this accommodation, it was perfect!

This was a great home away from home. We arrived one day earlier than planned due to a train strike and they were gracious and accommodating. A special thank you to Nicola, who was helpful to us in so many ways! The place is modern and has new amenities. The downside was there was no terrace but the entire Old City of Como is just steps away! We hope to see you again next year!

This place was perfect for us. It's right where you want to be - close to the water and close to walking to all the shops and restaurants in Como. Once inside, this wonderful apartment has all the things you need to have a great home base for exploring Como. The hosts are extremely responsive, too. When we checked in, we couldn't get the air condition to work. Within minutes, we had folks on the phone walking us through, by video, step by step what to do. We loved how easy we could be in our place and to the water. The bed was comfortable, showers had great water pressure and we slept well in the quiet upstairs loft. The space was clean and private. Multiple air conditioning units were a big plus.

Nice modern flat in a historic building. It was very comfortable for two adults. The flat is very quiet, nice, and absolutely in the center of Como in the pedestrian zone with the cathedral just next door. A parking garage is about 300m away and you can drive to the house to drop the luggage.

Exactly as seen in the photo. The apartment is new and clean. Easy to check-in and located in the very centre of the town. Anyway, as it is located in the old town, there is no parking and we have to park in the public parking space 400m. away, costing 35euro per 24hr.

This place is fantastic. The furniture is modern, clean, and feels like it is brand new. The flat feels spacious with its high ceiling, while still feeling cozy. I could easily use the kitchen table to work for a few days, and the chairs were comfortable enough to that end. The apartment is very close to businesses: great restaurants, Lake Como, and a street fair are only a few minutes away walking. The laundry is shared on the floor, but not busy. Drying clothes was very quick as the heating system in the bathroom is very efficient, and keeps the air there constantly warm and dry. Finally, the bedroom is very comfortable, and the linens are of great quality. I missed blackout windows, but the bedroom doesn't get very bright in the morning anyway. The host is very attentive and promptly replied to any questions I had.

We had a perfect weekend...we were in a really nice place. Access to the suite through the access codes was very easy and, late on the checkout or maybe too in love with the bed they gave us a late check-out (1 hour). We will be back with our children. Donato

Gabriele was the one I committed with. He texted prior to my arrival and asked about the specific timing of my arrival. He waited at the door and had a pleasant gift for us ( local pastries 🥮❤️ “yum!”) and showed us around the place. He also had a pdf with all the restaurants and supermarkets with their opening and closing time. VERY HELPFUL. As for the place, it was a walking distance to the center of como and close to the ferries station. The place was super clean, Tidy, and felt like home. The kitchen had everything you will need and the washing machines were just in the lobby, they also provided washing tablets to use. I highly recommend the place and will definitely stay there again in my next visit to como!.

Superbly located apartment in a classic building. All modern conveniences are installed. A little dark and gloomy at the start of October with the solitary window, perhaps it’s better in the summer. The double bed’s split single mattresses made for some uncomfortable sliding around and we weren’t able to sleep very well unfortunately. Also because of the geo-political situation we were unable to turn on the radiators as Italian buildings had an embargo on central heating.

So many restaurants and shops, easy to get to the Ferry port to tour other villages. The apartment was clean and modern in a historic building. It had everything we needed ! The location is perfect. The apartment had everything needed for our stay. Our only concern was the security as the codes are very obvious and not changed regularly so anyone who was staying there could have easily guessed our code and accessed our apartment.

This accommodation is about as central as you can get in Como. Retail shops, cafés, Lake Como itself and transportation all within a 5minute walk. A split level 1 bedroom apartment offers all the modcons you’ll need. Security gaining entry into the apartment is great, gives you that piece of mind. Very quiet location.

When you walk out of the property you see a stunning church and are in the heart of the city with restaurants and shopping all around. I couldn’t have found a better place. It was perfect for what I was going there to do. The place is situation right in the middle of como city and is within walking distance to supermarkets, parks, shops. The place is modern, clean and checking in was seamless. I would definitely highly recommend! I look forward to staying when I’m back in como again.
