Spectacular house, the result of an architectural restoration of extreme beauty. The highlight of the house is definitely the huge and functional kitchen. The setting is beautiful, super relaxing and surrounded by greenery. We can't wait to go back, highly recommended. Thanks also to the kind and friendly owners.

Everything was excellent! The house is clean, with all you need. Easy to access Como and surroundings. We attended the Il Lombardia cycling race, it was very easy to prepare everything because it was a lot of space. Very comfortable beds 😊. The owner and his wife were so kind, they presented us all the property that was so nice! People from My home in Como were very friendly, gave us all the information we needed and responded very quickly to any question we had. Thank you, it was a very good experience!

Your accommodation was stylish and great and communication with the host was very fast and solution-oriented. The place is definitely recommend! The registration process after booking the accommodation was relatively time-consuming, as ID information from all parties involved plus a video call was necessary.

Super nice accommodation. Also with family everything easy. Very clean. Very appealingly designed. Very well equipped. Small courtyard with parking. Great starting point for exploring the area. We would come back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the stone house. The apartment is 20 minutes outside Como within a private, quiet complex. The interior design is simply stunning and we enjoyed our evening aperitif in the courtyard. A nice plus was the gelato cooling pot where we made our own lemon ice cream. Small bakery within 2 minutes walking distance, a small grocer around the corner and larger shopping not even 10 min by car. Great to explore Lake Como as you can access both “arms” of the lake and Bellagio as well as do trips to Milano, Bergamo and Monza. Golf Villa d’Este is also just 10 min away. On the check in comment of previous reviews: we simply stopped at the Como office, did the necessary and had no problems at all. The property is managed by an agency, we did feel very well taken care of.

We cancelled our stay less than an hour after arriving due to a series of serious issues. First, the host refused to provide check-in instructions unless we did a video call on another platform, which is against Airbnb’s communication policy and made us feel uncomfortable. After declining, he asked us to meet him in Como in person to verify documents, even though we had already submitted everything through the platform. The house itself was located in a very isolated area and felt abandoned — my family was genuinely frightened when we arrived. Inside, there were only two AC units, and the one upstairs wasn’t working properly, leaving the space hot and stuffy. The windows had no insect nets, and within minutes, we were bitten by bugs and mosquitoes. We didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying there, so we left the property and booked a hotel for that night, then moved to another Airbnb. Unfortunately, the host refused to offer any refund despite the situation

Beautiful place off the beaten path. Alzate Brianza is a pretty town and its location makes it an ideal base to explore all places around Lake Como. The Stone House is part of a larger building that wraps around a courtyard. It has been beautifully renovated, honouring the pre-existing architecture and its context. The decoration also perfectly suits what must have been a previous use of the space, a nice touch. It's spacious, cozy, with everything you need, and it was perfect for a group of four. The neighbours were warm and welcoming and we felt at home right from the moment we arrived.

Looked even better than images. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to visit again. I loved how it was unique and had so much character. Would need a car to stay here. Quiet area apart from church bell at 7.30am which I didn't mind too much. 25mins drive to Como and Bellagio. Getting into the gate was a bit challenging, so I recommend a small car. Would definitely love to stay again. My children enjoyed it especially the swing. The host gave us small tin of Olive oil which we enjoyed with our eggs for breakfast. Overall very happy with the place. Things to note: it's set on 3 floors. Bedrooms on 2nd and 3rd floor. 3rd room doesn't have a door like the 2nd. Noise would travel all the way from living room to it. The whole complex is open plan. We didn't mind because we were family of 4. 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms, all beautiful and clean. Kitchen is very big with dining area.

The home is clean & spacious enough for two couples. The check in process is ridiculous. Uploaded ID & personal info as requested but still had to visit the office in central Como - in traffic on a Saturday this took 45 mins. Info is a text msg. Nights were very cold 8C/45F. No extra blankets provided. Host tried to say it is ‘law” we couldn’t have heat. Second night the heat came on when the temp dropped after messages with the host. I’d recommend providing additional blankets for cooler nights. There are no instructions for the oven - we found some using google searches as it is very complicated to use. Mattress and pillows on the top floor are like sleeping on stone floors. House instructions are very unclear - challenge is on to find the rubbish bins. Furniture is mainly used crates. No storage in bedrooms.

We've had a lot of Airbnb experience over the last few years, but this home is one of our favorites. Cozy, special, historical, spacious, well equipped, clean and very quiet. But most of all, the neighbors are, the parents and siblings of the family treated us very warmly and openly. We felt like at home and can accommodate all nice tenants fully recommend. Be open and you will to be told in part of the history of this area. I hope you enjoy all those who take the opportunity to spend their holidays in these historic walls.
