The views at Golden View were breathtakingly beautiful. The apt was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive when we reached out with a few questions. They gave very clear directions on how to enter the apartment. There are a lot of stairs if you have large luggage like we did but the views made it all worthwhile. You are also walkable to the town and ferries. Would definitely stay again.

We were a group of 5 Americans staying in this space. We got a little lost finding the place initially because our iPhone’s map, but the walk to the AirBnB is very straightforward. LOCATION - This is an excellent property for Lake Como first time visitors. Bellagio can be overly touristy, and Varenna as well. Menaggio is nicely situated in the middle of the lake, and has a good balance between having plenty to do in town, and keeping a small-town charm. PROPERTY - The property was perfect. Amazing views. Great open concept space. Nice outdoor space. Very short walk to the store, ferry, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to others. And I would likely return to this property if I were returning to Lake Como. TIP - For travelers with large luggage. You’ll have to navigate the walk up, and the stairs at the property. BUT for the views you’ll have it is totally worth it!

We had a fabulous stay! A great home base for exploring the lake and surrounding areas. We were so comfortable with plenty of room to spread out - accommodations are lovely and cozy and THAT VIEW cannot be beat. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect for our family and the large kitchen/dining room area was great for hanging out. The window/shutter situation is a great way to hear the may different types of birds while maintaining privacy. The check-in process was easy and the team was very patient with our late arrival as our flight was delayed. All communications were so friendly and professional - thank you! If you walk into town there is an easy path if you use the center island at the curve by the driveway entrance. We stocked up on food at the grocery store that you can see from the balcony and they had everything we needed for quick breakfast and snacks. *If you have any issues with mobility or doing stairs this house is not a good option for you.

It’s a beautiful apartment in a secured residence. The views are fantastic and the apartment is clean, well maintained and equipped. Its also very warm too. However the location is inconvenient. We have to walk along the motorway to get to the ferry and the restaurants. Overall it’s a nice experience. I recommend it if you need quietness and beautiful scenery.

It was our first time in Como, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The Golden View apartment has an incredible design! In each space you can enjoy a beautiful view, the terraces are incredible. It is 10 minutes from the ferry and several restaurants. We are already planning our return. Highly recommended

Magnificent spacious home with amazing views and very easy walk to town and ferry. Hosts were very easy to contact and made our stay with our family so relaxing. Menaggio is a beautiful town and easy to travel the whole lake (we even went skiing for a day trip) Safe secure parking was a bonus and with house had better than expected huge balconies - would highly recommend and love to return.

Beautiful location with wonderful views from terraces. Host was very responsive. Place was clean and comfortable. One negative is walk from ferry to home is not easy, especially with luggage in the dark. It’s all up hill and not lit very well. Will take a lot longer.than 7 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at My Home in Como! The home was spacious, clean, and exactly as described. Beds were super comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning. The location was perfect—walking distance to restaurants, shops, and cafés. Blankets were provided so we could enjoy the crisp morning and evening air, which was such a thoughtful touch. A couple of small issues: a knob came off and the fire pit ran out of propane on our last night, which was a bit disappointing. Also, no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely stay again!

Golden View is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. It’s stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The facilities are amazing, especially the two balconies with stunning views of Como and an outside fire and cooking facilities and a BBQ. We met family from Australia there on a very rainy week in September and it was the perfect place to hunker down and spend quality time together. I can imagine in summer that it would be a stunning place to stay.

Golden View is perfectly named!! The view of Lake Como is spectacular! The apartment itself was just what we were looking for. Everything was immaculately clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. Water pressure in the showers was wonderful!! Easy 5 minute walk into town. Uphill back home, but that was not a problem for us. Pulling our luggage from the ferry up to the apartment wasn’t easy, but fortunately you only have to do that once! The two terraces were our favorite places to hang out. Sitting outside by the fire pit in the evenings was glorious. All in all, one of our favorite Airbnb experiences!!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The two terraces were the absolute gems of the property. Incredible views! It was clean and neat and well located - very walkable. But be aware: walking to town is steep. A big reason we booked this property was for the air conditioning as we know it’s hard to come by in Europe. Unfortunately, the system didn’t cooperate and we weren’t able to figure it out - very confusing and the electronic house instructions didn’t help. It was warm at night but otherwise a great stay.

Words can’t describe how incredible this Airbnb was! The view was so special to wake up to every morning and to look out over before bed. 100% worth the 7-10min walk up the hillside to have this view. The space itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could ever need while on vacation. The team that manages the property was nice and quick to respond to anything we needed or recommendations. I would consider setting up a transfer to/from the Airbnb if concerned with the uphill walk with luggage. We had a transfer pick us up and bring to airport our final day and they had no issues finding the place. Our favorite restaurant was Divino 13 :) If we return to Menaggio would stay here again and again!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Menaggio! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the lake, charming cafes, and ferry connections to explore Lake Como. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had breathtaking views of the water and mountains. Waking up to that scenery every morning was a dream! Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and full of great local recommendations. Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. First off, the photos don’t do this home justice—it’s incredibly spacious and surrounded by windows, filling each room with natural light. The property is beautifully designed, with luxurious bathrooms and every amenity you could wish for. And the view…just breathtaking. Lake Como is so stunning that I even considered forfeiting a nearly $1,000 nonrefundable tour just to stay another night! The host company was fantastic—responsible, responsive, and proactive in every way. Menaggio’s convenient location made exploring the nearby towns a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough—stay here!

What a view! We booked this place specifically for the view of Lake Como and the balconies, and boy, did it deliver. It was breathtaking! Menaggio is a wonderful little town with some shops and restaurants. I wish there was an easier way to get to the town from the Airbnb if you didn’t rent a car, but we just planned to navigate down the incline certain times and make the most of our time down in the town. The apartment had everything we needed including a washer dryer, a rarity! Definitely worth a stay and was exactly the relaxing experience we were wanting during this part of our trip!

Wonderful stay in a gorgeous spot with easy access to everything on Lake Como. We loved Menaggio as it was a bit quieter than other locations to choose from on the lake. The sunrise and sunset were gorgeous.

The condo was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. Great views and easy to get to Varenna, Bellagio and other towns from there. Our only complaint was that we arrived about 2 hours before official check-in and just wanted to drop our bags off, but we couldn’t get past the security gate. Our only option was to drag our suitcases down the hill into town and then back up. Unfortunately, a friendly neighbor let us and in and we were able to leave our bags in the parking space.

The view from the patio is simply breathtaking. We spent our evenings soaking in the landscape with a glass of wine in hand, creating unforgettable memories. The interior of the home is clean, comfortable, and spacious making it a welcoming retreat after a day of exploring. The outside seating area is another highlight. It features a large table and chairs, perfect for enjoying breakfast under the morning sun or evening meals. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide some thinner bedding for the warmer nights, an ironing board / iron and to recharge the air conditioning (it doesn’t cool very well in the bedroom). However, these minor points did not detract from our overall experience. All in all, "My Home in Como" is a stunning location with a great host, making it an ideal getaway. We highly recommend it!

Amazing views from the balcony, but interior is mostly from Ikea. The place is up a hill, so be aware if you have small children or elderly people in your group. Contact with the agency is very friendly and responsive, but they have limited knowledge about the locality, e.g. they sent us to a luggage storage facility at Piazza Roma that didn't exist which led us to carry 5 people's luggage for an entire day. Kitchen and bathroom were nicely cleaned, but we found leftover of cigarette ash on the sofa and other dirt in the living room, which is not great since we had two small children with us. All in all I would not rebook for €1700 for 2 nights including a €450 cleaning fee.

What a gorgeous home! There is a tremendous amount of space and the home is beautifully decorated. The outside balconies have the most incredible views, could not have been nicer! We would love to return in cooler weather and stay longer.
