The space
The apartment is elegantly furnished in Venetian style. It can accommodate up to 7 people – there are two double bedrooms, one bedroom with a single bed, and a double sofa bed in the large living area. This apartment is perfect for families, groups of friends, or business travelers. You will have access to the whole apartment.Guest access
The apartment is on the 4th floor. There is an elevator in the building, but you will have to climb a dozen steps before. If needed, the elevator can be reached via a second entrance without stairs.The historical center of Como is mainly a pedestrian area, and there is no private parking at the property. In Viale Varese or In Viale Lecco, about 400 meters from the apartment, you can park your car only within the blue stripes. Pay time from 8 AM to 8 PM. Pay at the machine and get the ticket to be put on the dashboard inside your car, or use the “EasyPark” app. There are also paid parking garages nearby: “JASCA” in nearby Piazza Volta, “CENTRO LAGO” with an entrance in Via Recchi, “VALDUCE” in Viale Lecco, and “TRIBUNALE” in Via Auguadri.

Just hours before our scheduled arrival we were informed that our reserved property was not available. This last minute notification left us in a very difficult position, particularly given the time, effort and planning that went into organizing our stay. To make matters worse, after corresponding with the property manager, we were offered 2 alternatives neither of which was acceptable. One property was on the 4th floor with a broken elevator. This option was impossible for us as I am a disabled male unable to climb 4 flights of stairs multiple times daily while managing heavy luggage. The other was in a remote area with no access to transportation. Actually neither was acceptable and would disrupt our plans. Reluctantly we stayed at the remote property, which led us to spend hundreds of euros on transportation costs to travel to & from the property. We felt the management was dismissive & insincere given the circumstances. Our experience fell far short of expected standards.

The location to this apartment was wonderful. The pictures and description of apartment are accurate. Beautiful view of lake Como from the balcony which is right across the street. Close to many restaurants and shopping. If coming by train, Como logo isn’t the best due to having to get the keys to the apartment @ a different location which is closer to a different train stop.

PLEASE NOTE! The Keys can be collected at a shop located in Viale Felice Cavallotti 2a, Como, 22100 ONLY after completing all the following steps: - Fill in the online check-in form (where passport photographs of ALL guests will be required). - Sign the tourist rental agreement. - Make a quick video call where all guests who stay will have to show the documents again so that they can be checked further. - Until EVERYTHING is completed, it will not be possible to enter the property. THESE ADEMPITIS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ABLE TO STAY IN THE STRUCTURE AND ARE REQUIRED BY ITALIAN LAW. At the end of the stay, the keys must be returned to the collection point by 10:00 a.m. ______________________ POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES: - For check-in after 7:00 pm and check-out after 10:00 am (if not authorized) an additional amount will be required that will be communicated upon arrival and must be paid through a link that will be sent by us. - If the property is left in an inappropriate state, an additional amount due to overtime cleaning hours will be required. - If the keys are lost or not delivered to the collection point, a sum of €50 will be requested. - Return keys
