Previous guests mentioned the Church bells as an inconvenience. The home is well insulated. Any bell ringing was very faint and not a problem. We arrived in the rain and had difficulty finding the home. Our GPS notified us as we passed the house on the highway. As an advisory to future renters, There is room for about 3 cars in front of the home however they were occupied as we arrived in the rain. We were not sure that we were allowed to double park on the busy highway. Our host advised that we could double park to unload which was very helpful. After dropping passengers and baggage off we had to drive back to the public lot by the bridge to park the car for 25 Euros. Parking was not a problem after our initial arrival. Just an advisory note for future customer planning. Renters should be aware that Italian law prohibits the supply of any food or condiments in a rental. Bring your own salt and pepper and sugar for your coffee. Otherwise you must buy sugar and salt by the K

This was our first trip to Italy and Lake Como, and we wish we would have stayed longer. I highly recommend this location, it is in a small village but great restaurants and close to the ferry where you can get a ride to Belagio. The views from the apartment were spectacular! A couple of things to keep in mind, there is no microwave and check out is a little early, 10:00am, otherwise wonderful place to stay!

This apartment was beautiful! It is in a communal building with 1-2 other residents/guests, so there are shared common areas. These areas have fantastic views of the lake! It is very well situated in a wonderful community — restaurants, a post office, and transit center are all just a few minutes walk. The bus picks up often so you can easily get to other areas of the Lake if you don’t have a car. The apartment itself is very nice — quality linens, two bathrooms, comfortable beds with wonderful lake views. Perfect for 1-4 people. Communications with Vanessa were good. She kindly assisted as we arrived much later than expected. She also has contacts for experiences like boat rentals and helicopter rides. The only downside to the apartment is the parking: while there is a space directly in front of the building as long enough for three cars and not always available. It is also a bit dicey pulling out due to limited visibility. Paid parking is located a few minutes walk/downhill.

Great apparment with a superb location. Only downside is the parking 🅿️ which can be a problem in high season. In front of the house the parking was occupied at all time. Nearby parking is also used for beach (lido) ans restaurants close by.

The photos don’t do the place justice, it was amazing. The facilities are great, the feel of the place is reallly nice. Argegno is a nice place to base yourself on Lake Como and convenient to get to all the other spots. The views are just stunning. Vanessa was an amazing host. She was there to provide a briefing on arrival which was really informative. One small issue she fixed immediately which was really nice. Highly recommended.

The home was just beautiful and peaceful. The views of the lake and lake access cannot be beat. You’re walkable to town and the best wine cellar is a few steps away. We had a car so were able to drive 10-20 minutes north and south for dinners which was great. The host was lovely and met us to check us in and gave great recommendations. We’d 100% come back and stay here!

This apartment has amazing views and a great location. We were however, disappointed with the size of the unit and cleanliness. The host did offer to send a cleaning crew back after we checked in but we decided not to accept because we did not want the crew in the apartment with all of our things. All in all we still had a great trip but this rental was not worth what we paid.

Loved our stay here, only problem was that it was too short, wish we could have stayed longer! The unit was just like the pictures show. One thing to note is that the large patio area does require you to go down a few flights of stairs and then walk over to it, but still very accessible. There was a little balcony right off the living room that was perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The location was very convenient to town. We could walk to restaurants, the harbor (where we rented a private boat for a ride around the lake) and to the town’s ferry stations. We luckily had a car, which made it a short distance to a few other small towns. Getting to Bellagio was too long by car, we looked into a few ferry options but didn’t have the time to make it work. Host was great and very responsive and proactive. Flexible with check in and provided pictures so we knew how everything worked. They also had great local recommendations Would absolutely stay here again

This place is even more stunning than it looks in the photos. The view is spectacular, and the apartment itself is elegantly furnished and super comfortable. We also loved Argegno, which is a less crowded than some of the other Lake Como towns but still has great restaurants (don't miss the charming wine bar, Bistrò Argegno) and an amazing hike up the mountain to Pigra. We took the bus (C10) from Como and never felt the need for a car. Vanessa was also an excellent host--friendly and responsive. Outstanding Airbnb experience in every way!

We loved our stay at this apartment! It was great for two couples as both bedrooms had a bathroom and a view of the lake (although one room has an extra special view!) It was clean, modern and beautifully designed. Vanessa managed our check in and was very informative and responsive. The location is stunning, the private terrace superb, and we loved the quaint town of Argegno which was a short stroll down the road and had cafes, bars, restaurants and gelato. Would definitely recommend!!

We loved our stay in Argegno in an amazing apartment. The apartment is newly renovated with an amazing kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Linen and towels are like brand new and the view is amazing. Each night we would enjoy a drink from the balcony. There is also the deck on the water just like the photo that you could take your drink down to. Communication from the host was very good and Vanessa gave some great advice about what ferries to get to what towns. We hired a car so parked out the front. We had no issue driving and coming back to a car park however I understand during peak season this may be an issue. The church and town car park is just a short stroll down the road so no issue if you can’t get a park. There are some good local restaurants and gelato in Argegno which is a short stroll away. My advice is to hire a car and enjoy this amazing apartment and view. This was our last stop on our holiday and was well worth it!

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful. Lake view from living room and one bedroom. A lovely terrace to enjoy. Very modern and had everything you would need. Washer is available but not in the actual unit. Argegno is a little tricky to walk around the major streets as there isn’t always sidewalks. This place is definitely worth getting away from the crowd areas.

Argegno was our wildcard option as we didn’t have a car. Best decision, we loved staying here. The apartment is really nicely styled, quiet, great kitchen, hot showers, comfortable beds, stunning views with shutters and optional insect screens and the sound of water lapping against the boats in the little marina outside. Yes, not cheap, but it’s fair and the support from the hosts is great. Argegno is a gem. Small, quiet, good restaurants - our favourites were Bistrò Argegno (great simple food & wine), La Piazzetta (bit fancier, great local dishes), Il Sorriso (sweet family) and Cafe Colombo (coffee and spritz). Locanda Sant’anna is well worth the walk - amazing food. Two minimarts have good basics. We caught the ferry (Como & Bellagio) and bus (Greenway) - though if you want a fast ferry, buy the ticket home immediately at the other stop, and likely trickier in peak season - they fill fast. We were there October. Gianluigi (Lake Como Taxi) was great (to and from Como SG station).

The apartment was absolutely lovely with amazing views. The beds were super comfortable. The entire place was so clean and comfortable. We highly recommend! The walk to the town is not far at all but we wish there had been proper sidewalks as the street is narrow and we had a stroller for the baby. Ferry and bus access is very easy from the apartment. Argegno is quaint small town with great restaurants readily accessible to the apartment.

The apartment was absolutely fantastic! Argegno is a beautiful little village tucked away from some of the more overcrowded villages in the area. You can enjoy coffee outside on the patio and sun bathe on the outdoor sun deck overlooking the lake; the views are unforgettable. Everything inside the apartment was impeccable; the sinks speaker was a nice touch! Very walkable to everything in the village. Our stay made us fall in love with lake como!

Lake access and large terrace make this apartment stand out! Breathtaking views, stylish and spacious apartment with attentive host and extremely comfortable beds. The apartment was clean and has a large kitchen so great if you are interested in combining meals out with some dinners in. The village of Argegno is smaller and has a few decent restaurants, great bike, vespa and SUB rental place along with a boat rental. The ferry leaves from Argegno which is important as it's not so easy to drive or park along the lake at this time of the year. The Villa has been beautifully refurbished and has three apartments within along with a well equipped laundry room at the top of the house. The building is situated on a busy road which does generate some noise and parking is not particularly easy but don't be put off by this as the overall experience was great for our family. We especially enjoyed the local Italian gentleman who lives on the ground floor with his dog, Argo.

The downfall if you have a car is that although there is a parking bay outside, its a free for all and a constant battle to get a parking outside the apartment. We stayed at Via Spluga 34, Argegno. Right on the water and exactly as described. If you manage to park your car outside the house, don’t move it. Get a ferry timetable and use the Ferry!

Great villa with a beautiful lakeside view and terrace. Argegno is a very cute village on the lake, less built up than others like Bellagio (which means fewer amenities - no grocery stores & fancy shopping - but also fewer tourist traps). The villa itself is renovated and well laid out, with a full kitchen. Checkout is on the early side (10am) and there are a lot of rules (4 different trash & recycling containers that they require you to sort into for example). But it was worth it for the peaceful setting and view.

Best place to stay in Lake Como! The apartment was in a fantastic location and has an unbelievable view, the photos don’t do it justice! Argegno was such a lovely small town and located centrally to the other towns around the lake. The bus stop was a 2 min walk from the apartment and the ferry was less than 10 min away. Argegno is a great place to stay on Como! You will be close to the Cable Car at Pigra and there are restaurants, boat rental, ferry and bus terminals all in close walking distance. The place itself has stunning views and two lovely terraces to enjoy depending where the sun is, you will have a spot to enjoy it at any time during the day. Our hosts were easy to reach and timely to respond which made our trip easy to settle into. 5/5 - Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway at one of the quieter towns on Lake Como, while still within day travel distance to Bellagio and the other major towns.

We loved it. Perfect location with great views of Lake Como plus very close to ferries & buses as well as local shops and restaurants. We stayed in most nights and just enjoyed the terrace or balcony. Right beside cable car and you can hire a boat next door. Public transport maximum 5 min walk (very leisurely). Property had everything you could want, very clean very comfortable. Vanessa snd her team were excellent, very helpful and really made our stay. We can’t recommend highly enough. P.S. make friends with the guys at Bistro Argegno. They looked after us with food, beer and wine and a few meals during our stay!!!

My husband and I were thrilled be able to stay right on the water at Lake Como and pleased that we were able to afford this gorgeous location in the town of Argegno just not too far from Lenno. We rented a car in Milan and drove there. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the property care taker, Vanessa who was extremely accommodating. The place was perfect. It was beautifully clean and maintained. By the next day I was pleased to see the rental contained everything you’d always want…except….even though there were towels, they were small and thin, no wash cloths, not really enough to feel comfortable for two to use to stay five nights. When I asked Vanessa for a couple more, she said this…”I'm sorry Bonnie. The agency doesn't deliver me other towels”. So we were stuck with itty bitty bathroom towels with none extra provided. Partially full bottles of shampoo/body wash was provided… the only amenity. The next irritating thing was that for the two bathrooms the agency provided only two one-half rolls of TP each. Now I know some men can get along with next to no TP, but most of the women I know prefer to have a adequate supply of TP. I sent my husband out to buy a couple of rolls so I wouldn’t have to use ornamental plants from the yard. Oh yes, there is no air conditioning so bring your own personal fan….the ceiling fans do an adequate job if it has rained enough to cool things down. But I feel I should express well deserved compliments. As I said the place clean and newly redone with super modern kitchen updates. The bed was comfortable. You couldn’t beat the view. The space was private and close to everything. Several ferries ply the waters there and pick up and deliver riders several times a day. Parking is scarce, but the downtown is close and easily within walking distance from the rental. A heavenly cable car sweeps up the mountain about two thousand feet, the base just steps from your door with astonishingly beautiful vistas from the top. The last, most important benefit to acknowledge is chance of a lifetime to lose any irritability is by sitting outside on the small balcony at sunset and breathe in the wonder of Lake Como. Italy.

Have stayed at many Airbnb’s. This one exceeded our expectations. Vanessa was amazing with check in and answered questions throughout our stay. The place is up the hill from the town Argegno but an extremely easy walk into town even with a 9 month old baby. Parking is scarce so we ended up not moving are car at all the whole stay. The views were incredible! The home was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Would recommend this to everyone!

Pros - Beautiful unit in a quiet town, walkable to the piazza in Argegno. A few bars and restaurants 5-10 mins walk. Public ferry also 5-10 mins walk. Lovely shared terrace on the ground floor with incredible views. Cons - markets nearby have very limited hours, difficult to shop for home supplies/food. Transportation on the road is very challenging, although this is for all of Como lake area. Overall a very enjoyable time and a super peaceful and beautiful experience.

The location of the villa is amazing: waterfront, walking distance to the ferry terminal, boat rental a few steps down the road, ample paid parking close by and great restaurants. The suit is amazing and the views second to none. My family of four (two teenage girls) stayed for 4 days and wished we had booked longer. The unit is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. The suite has everything you need for a family of four. I cannot say anything constructive only that we should have stayed longer. Vanessa our host was amazing and so helpful. Thank you, Vanessa!!!

The apartment was beautiful! The interior was nicely decorated and very comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view is amazing overlooking the lake, we really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony taking in the view. The town also has a couple of great restaurants and bars, and is about a 5 minute walk to the ferry. There's also a boat rental place a few doors down which was really convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment. The location was great with a short walk to the local town and pebble beach. It was very clean, tidy and modern and we enjoyed using the house as a base to travel up and down the lake. Vanessa was very helpful, friendly and very accommodating of our late check in time. Would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to stay again.

The apartment in Argegno was really great. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The lake views are amazing, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Our pre-arrival information was useful and the Home in Como team helpful. Vanessa gave us a warm welcome and provided several tips on tours or restaurants in the area. An ideal base to discover lake Como.

The place is wonderful. The view is excellent. The hostess was really nice and helpful. The building is a splendid aged house, which had been recently renovated. The apartment is very well furnished. The location is also great: on halfway between the city of Como and the central part of the lake, where the ferries go. The only thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms has its windows on the road side, so it might be a bit noisy to sleep in there.
