It was a dream, I was very happy with the accommodation, if you want to have your privacy it is perfect... And I have never had a nicer view than this... The place is very small but if you need something small there are 2 nice shops 5 minutes from the accommodation... It is worth booking.

Great home for a big group or family. You will instantly feel transported with all the original furniture and design. Comfortable beds and nice amenities. The view from the balconies are breathtaking!

This place is absolutely amazing, with a stunning view overlooking Como. From the terrace, you can see the mountains, and the whole area is peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. Giovanni was a wonderful host who welcomed us warmly. He gave us a tour of the house and shared the fascinating history of how Mussolini and his admiral once stayed there. We had no idea beforehand, and it made the stay even more unique. The home itself is a beautiful antique filled with original furniture, and it’s incredibly spacious. Getting between Como and Brunate via the funicular was a great experience, and the house is just a short walk from the station. We highly recommend staying here.

This stay was amazing. We had 9 of us and the entire villa was perfect. The views, the villa, and the area were all exactly what we wanted. 100% would stay again. Only one downside was the master shower. Could use a couple basic improvements, but aesthetically was stunning. Overall, an experience that I would recommend to all my friends and family!

Incredible place with a splendid view. HOWEVER Some points should be improved: Things to know Comfort and embellishment of the terrace and exteriors Cleanliness of bathrooms And sewage disposal may need to be reviewed And above all, maintenance of the interior paintings and roller shutters.

The house offers a breathtaking view! The rooms are large and the house is equipped with everything you need. The mountain railway down to Como is very close and perfect for excursions. Communication with Nic was impeccable!

The villa is beautifully located and offers everything your heart desires. Beautiful kitchen (private chef can be booked) Spacious terrace with seating and enchanting views over Como and the lake. One highlight is the winter garden. The beautiful typical "Dolce Vita" building filled our hearts. Everything is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. Whether for families, yoga weekends or a bachelorette trip like we booked, a great destination. In June it is very hot, a pool would of course be 11/10 ;) But the lake is easily accessible by train. We were looked after by Giovanni and his son, who warmly welcomed us for an extra charge for the later arrival. Giovanni also sent very good ideas and clear instructions.

A beautiful villa, stylishly furnished and much still true to the original. From the terrace to the conservatory to the marble bathrooms, everything was perfect, very clean and inviting. The host was very friendly and helpful. Absolute recommendation.

Our stay in Brunate was truly unforgettable. The home is perched on top of the mountain above Lake Como and offers absolutely breathtaking views—pictures don’t do it justice. The house itself was beautiful and full of character; we genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. Our host was wonderful—very responsive and helpful throughout the trip. If you book this place, plan to enjoy at least one meal at home to fully take in the incredible setting. We didn’t have a car, so we used the funicular to go up and down from Como. If you’re staying for multiple days without a car, we recommend asking the ticket office about purchasing a multi-day pass to avoid waiting in line each time.
