Our stay in Torno was truly delightful. The location was stunning, with breathtaking lake views that we could enjoy from morning to night. The village itself is peaceful and charming, offering an authentic Lake Como experience. We loved how convenient everything was—three excellent restaurants just steps away, each serving delicious local cuisine. The serene atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

My wife, our daughter (11) and myself had a wonderful time in this beautiful house right on Lago di Como. We couldn't have asked for anything better! The house was fantastic, clean, quiet, right in the lake and next door to a few great restaurants. Thanks to Gebriele and her team for a wondeful stay. We'll surely try to come back!!

The stay in Torno was very nice overall! And with a few simple improvements, we'd even come back. Positive: ● Very clean and tidy ● Very comfortable beds ● Good bus and boat connections Negatives: ● Parking (we waited 3 hours and probably still got lucky on a Saturday) ● No service to bring the suitcases down or up. You have to drag everything up and down the stairs (unfortunately my suitcase broke) ● Everything is a bit wobbly in the house (drawers at the dresser or in the kitchen, toilet seat slides back and forth, etc.)

Great Lake location, easily accessible from Como and Milan! Perfect location for taking ferry up and down the lake with stunning views. House as described / clean / traditional Italian home - what was expected and more! Thank you

Unexpectedly amazing place looking out over the small harbour of Torno and Lake Como behind. Able to watch the comings and goings of the locals, convenient and friendly bars and restaurants, perfect location for the ferry into Como and beyond and watching the clouds trip over the hills from Switzerland… Couldn’t have asked for more (except maybe some parking closer by - he he - good for the legs though!) Thank you - we intend to return!! Grazie Mille!

This was the perfect place for our Lake Como visit. The apartment itself far exceeds the images and has everything you need. The location is amazing right by the ferry and wonderful restaurants of restaurants. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and very helpful.

We enjoyed so much being at the place , is so clean and having a hug amount of positive energy , it such amazing and was so unique for our family , we stayed 5 nights but we wish and dream to stay longer as we could , to watch from the window what a view to see the lake and the boats and the life there , we really wish deeply to come back once more again and stay at least for two weeks , enjoying walking around even the parking is a bit fare but to walk and feel the Italian soul between the walls and amazing small restaurants around , the apartment like a villa so simple and so lovely and so sweet , was like amazing dream for us , Nic was so lovely and let us feeling more like home , Thanks so much and we would love to repeat if possible ,we will be very happy more and more .

I agonize every time I have to book a place on Airbnb because I am so picky and the reviewers aren’t as picky as me. However, this place is spectacular! We loved it so much! Everything inside is refurbished and in impeccable condition. The views and location is wonderful. 15 mins from como but quiet away from the crowds. Parking is tricky, but you can park a 5 mins walk from apartment or get dropped off and use the ferry boats. I loved every minute - highly recommend. You won’t have any regrets!

Amazing place, I will defenitely stay here again. Parking can be a challenge at the beginning, but up the street there is a public lot, at no charge. 66 steps and a couple of ramps up and down, a perfect exercise to warm up. At the Torno Pier, the private boat can pick you up for your destination or tour, and with a pre paid ticket the public vaporetto will take you as well. I really recommend this place.

I would definitely stay at this house again. It's beautiful, and the photos don't do justice to the view of the lake. It's a peaceful place, and the locals are very friendly. It's just a few meters from the port to go to Bellagio or Como, etc. The apartment is amazing; it felt like I was the first person to use it. It was as clean as a 5-star hotel. The host was very kind and responded to me at any time, even late at night. The WiFi works perfectly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Absolutely loved my time here. Place probably is better than it looks in photos. And I’m from Australia and I found the showers to be frustrating in Europe, these showers were simple and easy like we have back home. Highly recommend

Staying in an apartment by the lake was a dream. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and well equipped. Next to the apartment we found a fine restaurant, and the proximity to the ships dock helped take a day trip on the lake and easily return to the apartment. The location of the apartment is central, around it there is a lot of traffic and some noise during the day but during the sleeping hours are completely quiet and very pleasant. There is difficulty with the parking, we found in a parking luck up the hill, but did not move the car until we left. A wonderful experience at the place.

The house was everything that was listed. The house sits right off the town square and has a wonderful view of the square and of Lake Como. The town is quiet and peaceful. It has great restaurants and locals bars for coffee, ice cream, and pasties. The house inside is very clean and modern. Looks to be remodeled. Lovely. There is a washer for clothes which was handy. It has all the modern appliances. The showers were warm and good pressure. The beds were very comfortable. We slept with the windows open with the sound of the lake and a lovely breeze. The local people were so friendly. The parking is up closer to the main road but it’s public and we parked and left our car there for our entire stay. Torno is a walking town in many areas, which makes it so special. Not a lot of tourists which was also wonderful. We took a Lake tour by boat and when we finished our driver dropped us off at a lovely restaurant 100 yards from the house. We had such a wonderful time and will come again.

Very comfortable apartment. Very good quality bedding. Good little pizzeria nearby. View of the pier as described. Nevertheless very big disappointment because the pier was closed for work, so it was extremely complicated to get around by boat. In addition, bus transportation is not optimal and the use of the car is completely discouraged as parking spaces are very rare.

I stayed with my wife, a friend and our two baby girls. Cons: - Not accessible by car. You need to walk down a step street to reach it. Ok for us, but if you have reduced mobility it might be a problem. - Free and metered parking is available at the town hall and two other nearby places. We always found an empty spot but it might be an issue during the high season. There is a bus service every 30 mins until about 8:30pm though. Pros: - Amazing views. There are two restaurants next to the lake were you can have lunch while enjoying the scenery - Super peaceful, quiet and relaxing, and everyone in town is friendly and helpful. If you want to disconnect this is the perfect place. - While there's not much to do in Torno, it's only 15 minutes away from the city of Como if you want more action. - The house itself was spacious, clean, comfortable and had every appliance we needed - The hosts were super helpful and responsive

The place was totally great. Better than it was in the photos. My family and I were very excited. And the view of Lake Como and the small harbor in Torno was breathtakingly beautiful. That's what you should see! The beds were very comfortable and everything looked like it hadn't been renovated for a long time ago. It all looked very new. Next door a very chic modern and slightly more expensive hotel with restaurant, next to it a little cafe with cheaper food and drinks. Only with the parking you have to see something. We had found a parking space (surrounded by blue line) nearby that cost 3 euros for 3 hours (8am-21pm). So had to get a new ticket every 3 hours. It limited us a little, but went. There was also free parking (surrounded by white line). But they were always occupied. I highly recommend it and will probably book it again next time. Thank you.

This home was absolutely amazing. It felt like a dream location because you are closed to a few restaurants, easily take the water taxi from the harbor and you are close enough to the adjacent bigger cities without feeling like you are surrounded with tourists. Felt so nice with the air conditioning. We were able to do our laundry since we were halfway through our trip. Instructions were super easy. The house was clean and loved the white crisp linens. Every window has an amazing view. And it was great that are friends could stay with us with their dog. The place was very clean and tons of amenities. We look forward to recommending this Airbnb to friends and visiting again one day.
