Beautiful view over Como, Menaggio. An alarm went off during the night, along with a power failure at 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. The location is a 10-15-minute walk from the city centre, with quite a few stairs. So you have to like that. Nicely spacious, tidy and everything you need at the property.

My stay at this location was one of my highlights during my days on Lake Como. The space was perfect for me, the views from the balcony of the lake and mountains were beautiful, the space was clean and well designed, and it had everything I could ask for including parking. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Italy!

I'll start with the good - the place is as described in the pictures, stunning views and friendly staff that responds relatively quickly. And the less good - 1. the apartment itself is in a complex that feels pretty abandoned, we were the only inhabited house there and it felt a bit like a horror movie. 2. there was a problem with the complex's gate and we were asked by the staff to take a taxi or park in some parking lot even though parking is guaranteed as part of the b&b deal. The staff did not offer to pay for the taxis or the parking lot and the representative's response was unhelpful. 3. There was a power outage several times during the night, which meant that every few seconds we had beeps from the thermostat and we had to turn off the power to solve it. The overall sleep experience was mediocre and below, which is pretty annoying on a trip. There was a super complex verification with the team and we expected a higher level from the place accordingly..

The apartment is beautiful. The scenery around the area is stunning. It is quiet and we felt very safe. There are walking paths from the apartment down into the town and the paths are lit at dark. The hills are steep and a challenge but doable if you are willing to walk.

Home away from home! This airbnb was ideal for our 3-night stay in Menaggio. Cosy, clean and stunning views down to the lake, especially on a clear day, with Varenna in the distance. The balcony was used every morning and evening to appreciate the surroundings. Around a 10-min descent down to the centre of the town and the lakefront just a few minutes further. Plenty of great restaurant options, bars and cafes. The hosts were really helpful, friendly and responsive to any questions too.

We felt comfortable. Location was ok, I found the cleaning fee paid very exaggerated at €160, which was more than the accommodation cost. And since my mistake was to book late, that was the only option for me. But I didn't think that was right. Otherwise, the apartment was clean.

Overall the home is in a good location as long as you are fine with walking. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Problems, we had the air conditioning unit didn’t properly work it never got below 25°C even if it was set all the way down to 16. We contacted the host. They said they would send somebody out the next day and they never did. Prior to checking into the Airbnb I was sent a link to submit my passport along with a photo of myself holding my passport next to my face to verify my identity. Upon arrival, the host insisted on an additional FaceTime call to again verify identity. This is a redundant step when we have already submitted pictures of our passport next to our faces

Great place, especially the view and the location! Best stay we had in our road trip in Italy (there’s a parking space available) The only thing I would note that if you have a late check in I would suggest you get the snacks or food before 19:00 because as far as I understood the two supermarkets close at 19

The place was amazing! The apartment is very comfortable, I would stay again but much longer to be able to enjoy it enough The city in general had nothing to do but enjoy its beautiful views, there were no taxis to easily access, the place is located high up, very close but to get there you have to climb a road not very accessible for pedestrians and go through sidewalks and climbs that are complicated with luggage, in general the best it would be best to go prepared with a number of taxis or rent a car and locate them from before in order to be easily transferred (my host was very friendly and gave me a number and necessary information) Outside this, the stay was magnificent, it is the most beautiful place I stayed in and it is totally worth the price that is paid! I highly recommend it! I highly recommend it

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The place was very clean, which made it feel very comfortable and welcoming. The view was absolutely beautiful and added so much to the experience. However, I did find the walk to the property a bit challenging without a car, so I would recommend considering that if you’re traveling without one. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend it for those who enjoy a peaceful location with a scenic view!

The sunlight apartment was absolutely gorgeous. the uphill walk to get there is a killer, especially with suitcases, but the view you get at the end makes it all completely worth it. The pictures listed don’t do it justice, you can’t see quite how massive and beautiful it all is. Literally dropped my bags upon seeing it for the first time, I couldn’t believe how lucky we were. The bedroom is beautiful, perfectly sized with lots of storage for clothes and bags and such. The place is well stocked, and I think the fact that you get to look after the place yourself when it comes to cooking and cleaning adds to an authentic experience of the lake. We certainly found that it added to our time there in small ways, we felt truly at home. a few things were broken, a panel in the kitchen was coming off, the ironing board was broken and the lamp stopped working on day two. But i still give the place five stars as it’s tough to take away from the gorgeous view, we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

This was such a peaceful stay for us in the quiet town of Menaggio with gorgeous views of the lake! The place was as described and pristine and the host was responsive. It was actually quite hard to get to without a car when we first arrived at the ferry station (15-20 min walk uphill) given how high up the hill it was so I would keep that in mind if you have check in luggage or have mobility challenges.

Lovely, cozy home in a great location with a fantastic view! As others have mentioned, the path to the accommodation is quite steep and having a car may be helpful if you have luggage. Great stay all in all, would recommend!

A great place to stay if you are visiting Lake Como. The home has a calm and peaceful atmosphere but is still within a walkable distance to the center of Menaggio. There are lots of hikes to do fom Menaggio and its placement in the middle of the lake is favorable to those, who want to take a ferry to cities on other banks of the lake. The home had all the amenities as listed. Mainly for cooking there were many pots, pans to choose from, cutlery, plates, glasses and so on, unfortunately I did not find salt, pepper, or oil in the kitchen. But the home indeed is comfortable and has a very nice view of the lake that I enjoyed very much. A dedicated parking space is definitely a plus. I definitely recommend this place. :-)

We enjoyed our stay! We had everything we needed. Owner is responsive. Only comment is the way to the apartmemt, you will be faced with numerouse steep stairs/ steps that aren't for old people, and for people with many luggages. If we had rented a car, everything wouldve been perfect. For the price, you cannot beat how beautiful the view is. still highly recommend, but rent a car fpr convenience! 😊

Lovely place with amazing views across Lake Como! 🌄 The inside was cute and colorful, and the guidebook they provided was super helpful—especially for sorting Italy’s confusing trash categories! ♻️ However, the walk from the ferry to the house was tricky, with lots of stairs or a narrow road with no sidewalk. 🚶‍♂️ If you’re okay with a bit of a hike, this place is great, but be prepared for the journey!

Our stay in Menaggio was absolutely delightful. The apartment was beautifully located, just a short 10-minute walk from the charming town center. We loved exploring the local shops and restaurants. After indulging in delicious Italian cuisine and gelato, the leisurely walk back to the apartment was the perfect way to digest and enjoy the fresh air. The apartment itself was a gem. The balcony offered stunning views of Lake Como, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings. We especially appreciated having a convenient parking space on the property, which made getting around the area hassle-free. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Lake Como.

So many things to love about this place - QUIET, close to ferry stop, had a washing machine, free parking, incredible view, and a very responsive and friendly host. A nice bonus was the loft space where the bed was, which was very cozy. It was also incredibly clean! Would highly recommend.

Apartment matches the photos, clean with a beautiful sheltered and sunny terrace in the morning. The view of the lake and Varenna is beautiful and the environment is secure with parking space. Access to the city center is 10 minutes downhill and 15 minutes for the ascent: you have to take into account that to have a beautiful view you have to go up but it's still pleasant. Excellent stay on Lake Como! Menaggio is well located for visiting Varenna, Bellagio, Lenno etc... we will keep a wonderful memory!

An apartment without much charm but functional and well equipped (the plus is the new bathroom). Its three main advantages are its location, 10 minutes' walk from Menaggio town centre, its view of the lake and its (secure) parking space.

Beautiful place, super calm and clean. The loft was extra beautiful and the balcony was great for a breakfast or evening glass of wine overlooking the Lake Como and Varenna. Super convenient to be able run a laundry while staying there for our hiking clothes!
