The artistic handwriting, the tasteful and perfectly equipped furnishings as well as the small private front garden make the Artist's Nest something very special. It was wonderfully heated upon arrival. The location in the quiet courtyard just a few steps from the waterfront and Villa Olmo is absolutely captivating. We didn't hear anything about the street in the apartment. The old town is a 10-minute walk away. Dogs are also allowed to play on the lush meadows of Villa Olmo. The garage with space for large cars is the best argument. For guests with car: When arriving in driveway no. 197, take the key from the keybox and immediately drive down here into the garage. From the garage, you can get to the apartment directly via a ramp without steps, even with a lot of luggage. The described gate no. 205 is for pedestrians only. Don't try to drive here! You can't get out backwards on the main road. Online check-in in advance is time-consuming.

Appartement is very nice in a quiet building. Very clean and cosy. Private Parking space is wide enough for a suv car and very handy to have.

The apartment is very nice and matches the photos. It's in a nice location and was very clean. Unfortunately, there are some negative aspects, such as the construction site near the house, where work starts at seven in the morning and a very rude neighbor.

The home is very cozy. Exactly like the photos and very well maintained. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is literally on the main road into Como which is good and bad. Everything is in walking distance which was great. The walk way to the lake is directly across the road. Restaurants are near by and grocery store isn’t too far. You will not need to use your car. We didn’t. We used the ferry and bus system to see the towns outside Como BUT the main road is busy and it get noisy. If you have small children or a dog you must be careful. You can’t hear the noise from inside the home BUT I wish the management company would have told us that construction is going on right behind the home. Literally the crane is above the house. They start work at 7am and it is VERY loud. When I said something to the management company their only reply was don’t worry it’s safe. I wasn’t worried about the crane I was upset that they did not inform us prior to booking!

We LOVED our space! 10 minute lakeside walk to town! Across the street we found the little path that led to the lakeside promenade. We loved walking lakeside to town. While the loft space isn’t always ideal for families with children, we booked accepting it and we’re so happy we did! The walk to town had a playground and some merry go rides for our toddler! He loved it! Would definitely stay again!

A total hidden gem!! It is perfect for staying in Como. A 30 second walk to the promenade on the quieter side of the lake. Meant for a super peaceful walk along the lake to the town centre. The Host, My Home in Como, were perfect. Really personable and so responsive, I asked loads of questions during the stay and they replied in minutes. The house is lovely. Just off the main road but once you’re in the gardens it’s so, so quiet. It’s a quirky little home and perfect for the two of us for the week. We loved it, we loved the location and our hosts were fantastic. Brilliant value for money all round!!

Great stay in Como. The place is just like the pictures. A very walkable area close to shops, restaurants and the ferry dock. The bed was a little firm for our liking -but that comes down to personal preference. Overall, a great stay and would recommend to those staying in Como.

The property was just across the street from a beautiful walking path along the lake and the patio was extremely private. the space was perfect for us and the washer and drying rack was very useful!

The place itself was very peaceful and plenty of room for 2 - 3 people and a 5 minute walk to the water so very walkable. I usually try to rent from hosts that only have a few properties as you tend to get a more personal touch but this property is one of over 100 they own so it lacks the personal touch and no communication with the hosts during the trip. I arrived at the place without instructions on how to get in as I received no response on the AIRBNB app so finally had to call to get instructions. They needed help identifying the property as they said they have over 100 properties so once they understood where I was they said they emailed instructions to me, but did not tell me to check my email via the AIRBNB inbox so it was just a bit frustrating to not know where to park, how to get in, etc. If you already know what you want to do before you get there then the place is perfect as it’s in a great location and close to the water!
