“Contrada San Giacomo” apartment is located in the heart of the historic city of Como, a few steps away from the lake, restaurants, shops, and museums. The apartment is on the second floor in one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the pedestrian center of Como. It is well furnished and recently renovated.

The space

The apartment can host a total of 4 guests in its double bedroom and a second bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed for two. There is one bathroom.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and it has a table and chairs to enjoy meals “at home”. WiFi, TV, coffee machine, and washing machine are available for guests.

The apartment is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator.
The historical center of Como is mainly a pedestrian area. The nearest paid street parking is available in Viale Varese, about 300 meters from the apartment. You can park your car only within the blue stripes. Pay at the machine and get the ticket to be put on the dashboard inside your car, or use the “EasyPark” app.
There are also paid parking garages nearby: “JASCA” in Piazza Volta, “CENTRO LAGO” with an entrance in Via Recchi, "VALDUCE” in Viale Lecco, and "TRIBUNALE” in Via Auguadri.

The property is located well surrounded with restaurants and shops. The place is also very clean. The beds are perfect for us - a group of 4. The surrounding is also beautiful waking up with a view of the mountains and a beautiful courtyard. The property is well appointed with amenities. Most plate and cutleries are adequate except for mugs (as there are only 3) which is something minor but bugs us as a group of 4. The living room could also improve by considering adding more seating, specially if the booking is for 4 people. We wanted to hang out after a long day’s trek but the sofa is only fit for 2. These are minor but improvable elements of the property. Overall, a highly recommended place.

Until it is completed, it will not be possible to enter the property. • For check-in after 7:00 pm and check-out after 10:00 am (if not authorized) an additional amount will be required which will be communicated upon arrival and must be paid through a link that will be sent by us.
