Me and my partner had the most wonderful week long stay at this home. Firstly, the location is perfect. It is incredibly quiet in the area, the neighbours are very friendly, there is a quaint little shop and butchers moments away which covered most of our needs, but a big supermarket and towns only a short bus ride away (but be aware public transport isn’t the most reliable). You are seconds from the lake here, and we found it easy access and there was rarely anyone else there. There are two wonderful restaurants we visited again only moments away. The apartment was exactly as listed, so charming. There is a garage under the apartment with kayaks and paddle board, and the washing machine is to the right of this (we found this slightly tricky to locate as the door was a bit jammed for it). The apartment had every cooking utensil we needed and we did plenty of cooking. Couldn’t recommend more for a truly authentic experience.

From the unexplainable views - to the very hospitable locals, this stay at Sala Comacina was one of the best AirBnB experiences we have ever done. If you want less crowds for food or ferries, relatively easy access to bus routes to other parts of the lake, or just want an intimate look inside of northern italy: this is the place. I'd be careful along the inside stairs if children were present, but a parent can generally feel at peace knowing you will be in a safe neighborhood from my experience. Close enough to Lenno, Tremezzo, Menaggio, multiple villas, and easy to cross the lake to Bellagio for example. Get a private driver, village is about 60min from MXP airport.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The location right by the lake is fantastic and offers a wonderful view. The house was very clean, well-maintained and lovingly furnished, so we immediately felt comfortable. We particularly liked the quiet surroundings, which create a relaxed atmosphere. The region is ideal for hiking in the mountains, and walks right by the lake are also highly recommended. Overall, everything met our expectations, and we were completely satisfied. We can fully recommend the accommodation and would come back at any time.

Nice place to stay with lots of space. The rooms are on the dark side due to the small window openings. You must find your own parking space in the surrounding streets. A very nice restaurant around the corner from the house.

Where to start. First of all, this was me and my fiance's first time travelling to Europe and were a little nervous. What helped tremendously was how kind and welcoming the team was. They were our first interaction with anyone from Italy and it was such a positive experience. They gave us recommendations for drivers, restaurants, places to sightsee, and things to do. The airbnb itself feels like something that comes straight out of a fantasy movie or a coastal rom-com. The team truly went above and beyond by going out of the way to decorate the airbnb on the day I proposed to my fiance. They brought flower petals, candles, and a bottle of wine (for an extra charge of course) I can't thank them enough for providing a home that we felt safe coming to and not to mention got some really nice pictures taken just in the alleyways. Our favorite coffee shop was around the corner (max's bar) and there is a private boat service if you need to visit different parts of lake como. TYSM myhomeincomo

The place was fantastic - cosy and specious at the same time, well maintained, nicely furnished and very comfortable. It's located in a beautiful place, near the water. It was a pleasure to stay in an old stone house that has been renovated on the inside in an impressive fashion - good mix of comfort, maintaining the character of the place at the same time. It felt private and we really enjoyed our time there. For the town: The parking in the area can be tricky but we managed to find free parking spots within a very reasonable distance. One definitely has to get used to the local traffic when on foot - there are no sidewalks, car traffic is heavy and some drivers don't respect pedestrians.

We were there in mid-April, so still before the high season. It was quiet and very relaxed. The flat has a lot of charm, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who prefers a quiet place that is a bit further away from the touristy areas like Menaggio, Bellagio, Como, etc.

The accommodation is ideal for spending a few days at Lake Como! It is spacious, pleasant, warm, with all the necessary amenities. We also liked its location, in a nice village fifteen minutes from Menaggio. The alleyways, the restaurants, the atmosphere that emanates from them, allow you to enjoy the lake in a calmer and more intimate way.

Hard to find at first with the check-in map because it’s behind buildings on the actual street but it’s a lovely little old house, very authentic Italian with modern updates. Super clean bathroom and surfaces, but there were cobwebs and spiders, which maybe can’t be avoided... bathroom was upstairs on the second floor (meaning third for Americans), and I hurt my toe badly on the doorstep in the dark (watch out!). Washer is apparently located in the garage if you need it, which I didn’t learn until too late and I didn’t have time before check-out to clean clothes I had planned to for the rest of my trip. However I will say the team was responsive, even if at 4am, by phone and direct message. If you’re looking for a luxury experience, you might want to book the hotel down the road, but for a simple cozy stay, this place is for you.

We had a wonderful time at the property. You arrive and feel right at home. The hosts responded quickly and gave us many tips for the area. During our stay, there was a landslide in the neighbouring village, and they also informed us about this by message. Everything was really perfect. Thank you very much for this beautiful accommodation and the help with our open questions. I can really recommend the booking to everyone. 😊

Comfortable house with everything you need to make it a home. Equipped kitchen and coffee! So close to swim and the beach with kids toys. Perfect place to stay with kids, my only son found Italian kids to play with in the lake. The local shops, restaurants and bars catered for all, real escape from the crowds in this lovely village.

Very nice apartment, quiet with beautiful volumes and a well-equipped kitchen. On 3 floors with a small balcony from the bedroom overlooking a courtyard with other homes. The apartment is therefore perfect for a romantic getaway. Be careful however if you come by car, there is free parking along the main road but not close to the apartment. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but no food shops. A downside to the bathroom cleaning, there was hair all over the walls and floor when we arrived. The overall price seems a little excessive to me because of the elements mentioned above, even if the apartment is quite suitable and very well equipped and in a charming place next to the lake but without a view of the lake.

This place is one of the best and the most authentic places i ever stayed in and i have stayed in caves with budet!! First of all, super fast internet smart tv and the kitchen has all the required amenities you need. The place had coffee, water in the fridge (which was super nice of them). Its super quiet and you will have adorable cats as neighbors (they will only approach you if you call them in). This place is a secret haven and the hosts are so amazing they were very welcoming before our checkin time. The greenway hiking trail is right behind this place and the people are very polite. I strongly recommend it and i will definitely come back here ❤️
