Vanessa was so very helpful with our check in and our questions. This house is gorgeous. The view is indescribably beautiful. The furnishings are lovely. The beds are very comfortable. The home was spotless. We had everything needed to cook and relax and eat and enjoy our stay. We loved that it is an older home but beautifully updated to make guests comfortable. If we have an opportunity to return to Argegno,, we would love to stay here again!

Super-equipped house, with an excellent location and a breathtaking view! The stay was very pleasant — we even had a treat with water and coffee capsules right upon arrival, which made all the difference. I would definitely stay here again.

I could sit on the deck forever and enjoy the views of Lake Como and the mountains. The house was beautiful and the views were incredible. It was perfectly suited for the 4 adults and 2 kids that stayed here. It was easy to walk into town using the roads with the kids. The host provided restaurant recommendations and other things to do in and around Argengo which was super helpful. We followed many of those and were not let down. All in all, great stay and we'd love to come back.

This property is absolutely stunning. Be prepared to either pay for a taxi or walk a great deal to get to it, but my gosh, is it worth it. A couple things of note: host is not flexible with check in or out. We had to keep her informed of when we’d arrive so she could meet us (and this was hard to do with train delays and trying to find transport from the train station), and when a taxi only had availability for an hour after checkout, there was no wiggle room or openness for discussion whatsoever. In the past, hosts have let us drop off or leave bags while people clean or are at least a bit more hospitable about timing. Additionally, the washing machine and electric breaker (which we had to flip multiple times due to loss of electricity) are in cellar of sorts that was both scary and difficult to get to. Just something to note! Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay. That view and balcony is worth a lot more than enduring these petty gripes!

We enjoyed our stay at the Argegno house very much. The house is on 2 levels and has balconies with beautiful, magical views on both floors. It is very clean and has all the amenities you may need during your stay. It is not in a walkable neighborhood, and you definitely need a car to get around. Be prepared to drive on narrow and windy streets. There are two local restaurants about 5 minutes drive up the mountain, and both had delicious food and good wine list. If you are someone who eats a full breakfast (eggs, ham, bacon …), then I would recommend bringing these items with you and cooking your own breakfast since there are no close places for breakfast, and the traditional Italian breakfast is coffee with toast and jam. I wish the house would have air conditioning or insect screens on windows. It was very hot during our stay, but since the bedrooms are on the first floor, the rooms were cool with windows open. This is a perfect house for a return stay at Lake Como area

Great place to stay.Beautiful house with beautiful view but you need a car to enjoy because taxis are very limited and only fault with property in a cold and wet May no heating but otherwise a fantastic stay.

The home is beautiful and well maintained! The views are amazing and so peaceful. it would be easy to spend a significant amount of time here. My family opted to stay in the house a few nights instead of going out simply enjoying the views.

Lovely place for get away from hectic Milan. Amazing Como lake view and waking up in the morning watching splendid sunrise over the lake. The house was very clean and well equipped, spacious! A little town Argegno has so much beauty! Highly recommended.

Four of us had a very nice Easter holiday with two dogs. What we particularly liked: the small "city" of Argegno can be reached on foot very well from the location, or you can get there well even without a car. But: we had 2 SUV's and that was already very close to the parking space size :) However, worked well with some manoeuvring!

Great house, great location. The view was amazing. The house was clean and everything you needed was found in the house. We were traveling with small children and grandparents. Everyone liked the destination a lot.

The property had amazing views and was furnished pretty well but the amenities in the house were 3 star There was not one tissue or napkin The soap products in the bathroom were not good either If they spent a few $$ to stock the house with these products it would be a 4-5 star experience 4 night stay deserves even a bottle of water and maybe a bottle of local wine !

Spacious apartment with an incredible view. Located in a quiet part of Lake Como but a short drive to the larger towns. The apartment was comfortable and had all the appliances needed for a great stay. I would stay again.

Nice house with a new and modern standard. Breathtaking view over lake Como. Another bonus is that there are 2 fantastic restaurants 2 min drive from the house uphill. We ate dinner there every day. All in all, a great stay.
