The space
With a noble and recent refinement, the spaces in Palazzo Visconti masterfully combine majestic classicism with clean and cozy modernity. Warm colors and minimalist decor go a long way!“Cardinal Suite” can accommodate up to 6 guests. There are two bedrooms with double beds and a sofa bed in the living area which is shared with an equipped kitchenette. Two bathrooms. The apartment is two-leveled with one bedroom in the loft. There is a balcony overlooking Piazza Grimoldi.
Guest access
There is an elevator in the building, but the apartment is not adapted for permanent wheelchair users. There are stairs in the apartment.The historical center of Como is mainly a pedestrian area. It is possible to arrive at Palazzo Visconti by car to drop off the luggage, but the nearest parking is available in Viale Lecco, about 400 meters from the apartment. You can park your car only within the blue stripes. Pay time is from 8 am to 8 pm. Pay at the machine and get the ticket to be put on the dashboard inside your car, or use the “EasyPark” app.
There are also paid parking garages nearby: “JASCA” in nearby Piazza Volta, “CENTRO LAGO” with an entrance in Via Recchi, "VALDUCE” in Viale Lecco, and "TRIBUNALE” in Via Auguadri.

Beautiful stay in the historic center of Como very close to the Duomo and the departure of the ferries for the lake tour. Clear and easy directions. Extremely easy check-in. Wonderful apartment. Excellent cleanliness. Assistance was available to resolve an issue with the air conditioner. Absolutely worth trying. Thank you

This place was wonderful! The heat this time of year was to be expected- I’m sure during more reasonable temperatures the AC would be much more effective- however we found it was having a bit of a hard time keeping up. Regardless the indoor temperature was much better than outside! The location was perfect- right next to como Lago train station and right by the ferries. McDonald’s nearby was helpful too! The beds were comfortable, linens were clean and comfortable, towels nice, having a washer dryer was a godsend though I wish there were English instructions. Felt luxurious- was very convenient- would definitely recommend and stay again.

I want to start by saying how amazing the location of this spot is. It's a 5min walk (if that) from Como Lago train station & 10-15mins from Como S Giovanni Station. It is super safe & secure due to the gated access to the building. It's located right next to one of the main piazzos in Como which is filled with great shopping & restaurants. The apartment itself is beautiful and well kept. It is full stocked with pots, pans & any other dishes if you care to cook for yourself. And the host was more than gracious with helping to figure out any slight inconvenience that popped up. All in all its a 10/10 would definitely stay again.

Additional rules
In order to access the property, it will be necessary to fill out the online check-in form (where the passport photographs of ALL the members who will be staying will be required) and in addition you are required to sign the rental contract for tourist use. Until it is completed, it will not be possible to enter the property. For check-in after 7:00 pm and check-out after 10:00 am (if not authorized) an additional amount will be required which will be communicated upon arrival and must be paid through a link that will be sent by us.

Property Manager Terms
- Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a full refund, including all fees.
- Cancel by noon on the day of check-in and get a 50% refund of the total nightly rate. You’ll also get a full refund of all fees.
- Cancel during your trip and you may be eligible for a partial refund.
- Cancel before noon local time during the trip and you’ll be refunded 50% of the remaining booking value, excluding fees.
- Cancel after noon local time during the trip and you’ll be refunded 50% of the remaining booking value, excluding that night and fees.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
