With navigation and the specific information, the accommodation is great for finding it. Without automatic, the ride up the mountain is certainly challenging. We were already tested on the second day. We always parked in the parking garage Autosilo Valduce in the center. That was ok in terms of price and also safe. The place is really great and the view of Como is also very nice. So, we saw the lake:-)

It was a nice place to stay, away from the hustle of Como. The drive up and down the steep hill was the only stressful part as it is narrow in places and drivers often took the bends too fast and too wide.

Really lovely apartment, good location, about 5-10 minute drive into the main area of Como. Beautiful views from the balcony, clean and spacious apartment, comfy beds. The drive up the windy road is fine for experienced drivers. Some previous reviews mention no AC or fans but Cristina kindly provided some fans during our stay which were a godsend because it was very hot in Como during our stay! Would stay here again :)

Lovely quiet apartment on Mount Boletto, very near to Brunate, which is a hot tourist destination in Como city. There is a hiking path right behind the apartment and a mins walk takes you to beautiful panoramic views of the city from above. Apartment is as described though fittings show fair amount of usage. Hosts are available 24/7 on Whts app and very responsive. Only the most basic items were provided in kitchen, there is no oven or electric kettle (there's one for hob). Its not a luxury place but good enough for a comfortable stay. The nearest shop is 15 mins to city centre where finding a parking can be tricky. Kids enjoyed a different perspective of Lake Como and Alps from here. We found driving stressful as we are not used to hilly terrain, but that would be same as anywhere else in the Alps. Would have loved if some sort of bug repellant insense sticks had been provided to enjoy alfresco dining on the lovely balcony. Overall a good stay.

We had two very nice weeks in Como. The apartment is the best! Getting there for inexperienced drivers is a bit difficult. Absolute tranquility up there and a great view from the terrace. (no lake view - as you can see in the photos) Everything went smoothly. Possibly seating furniture for the terrace would be recommended, then it would be better to relax there. Otherwise, we were only bothered by the nighttime temperatures. During the day it heats up incredibly and unfortunately there is no air conditioning or fans. We were very happy with the apartment. Absolutely recommended.

Beautiful apartment that looked just like the pictures. View was beautiful but could not see the lake. Also not walkable to the center of the city so make sure you have a car or are willing to take the bus which does stop in front of complex. Having parking was great but did not have any tvs which we would’ve liked.

The place was easy to reach and I was cooperating with me as I communicate with her and respond quickly, but I have some observations : First, the place does not have air conditioning and moisture is fatal. When I open the nets, the insects and the sleeper go inside and hurt me was very annoying. My father was troubled. In terms of the housing, he was narrow from the rooms, where the movement becomes heard at the movement. This was a lovely 2 bedroom and bathroom house with amazing views of Como but not so much the lake. It was very clean, comfortable beds, great lighting, had all that we needed and a parking spot. The area is quiet and very peaceful. The bus stop is right outside place and it was easy to get to Como. A car is also very handy. It is located very close to the hiking track too either towards Como or Brunate but need some guidance as initially it is hard to find.

beautiful, quiet and comfortable apartment. exactly what we needed. away from the hassel of the city. the view was incredible. we mainly used the place for sleeping but it would be wonderful for cooking your own dinner too. we were welcomed with a small bottle of olive oil and 3 small bottles of water, which was very nice. everything was ao clean and the design well thought of. my children slept peacefully all night and felt comfortable too. i definitely recommend it and will hopefully visit again. thank you for the wonderful experience.

The apartment is in a quiet, beautiful residential neighbourhood, on a hill with a fantastic view of Como (and a small part of the lake). The host and co-hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive at all times, and had very good local recommendations (e.g. the best place for parking the car close to the city center). The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable, ideal for a family vacation or vacation with a small group of friends. There was free parking available right outside the apartment and we had no problems manoeuvring our medium-sized SUV. The route to/from Como is a short but very bendy up-hill/down-hill drive (10-15 minutes) but it is manageable. There is also a bus stop very close to the apartment. The entrance to the apartment is practically on the ground floor, but there is a steep walking ramp to and from the gate and the parking, which may be difficult for the elderly or those with disabilities. Overall, we had a fantastic time and enjoyed are stay.

Christina's apartment is perfect as accommodation for four people to explore Como and the surrounding area. We were there as a family (2 adults and 2 children), but it is also great for two couples due to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The view is beautiful and a big plus is the private parking space.

We had a fantastic stay here with our little one and would recommend. The property is beautifully furnished with lovely little touches throughout. The view is absolutely wonderful as the name suggests and it is nice to stay high up in a more private setting, away from the bustle of Como. Def a car is advantageous as would be quite a hike, esp in summer. But there is a bus stop right outside. Fans were great and adequate for the warmer days and the property did stay cool. Nice and peaceful, great amenities, comfy beds and good showers. Would def stay again. Thanks Cristina.

The detail re the check-in process (complete with photos) was excellent. Bit of a twisty road up to the house from Como but you soon get used to it. And Como is not only a pleasant town but is in a brilliant central location - easy day trips tp Bellagio, Varenna, Lugano, Lake Maggiore and Milan.

A big plus for a parking space right next to the apartment. Access via a winding road steeply uphill. Access by car to the center takes about 10 minutes. Some points to note: - given the location being higher up, getting a taxi can be very difficult, particularly late afternoon - washer is located in the same building, but via its own separate door which you need to go outside - having too many electrics running can cause a power cut so beware - no view of the lake

We were very happy about our stay in the flat overlooking Como. The flat was clean and matched the photos on the add, the beds were very comfortable, and the house fitted our expectations and needs. We were able to communicate directly with Cristina via WhatsApp and the description send made it easy for us to get into the house. The only b-mol was the fact that there are two small roads on each side of the small busstop. One leading to the house but we went in the wrong direction and had to ask locals for direction, since we arrived after sunset. For those who love the Lake Como Region, the house is a great starting point to discover the lake district or even travelling to Milan.

Cristina's flat offers plenty of space for several people, has a fully equipped kitchen, and a large terrace with a view over Como. It is very nicely furnished, the beds are comfortable, and the flat was very clean. We travelled by car and were able to park directly in front of the house free of charge. The house is located high up on the hillside, right next to a bus stop, but you can also walk up quite quickly (25–30 minutes if you're fit enough, as it's quite a steep climb – by taxi, the journey only takes about 5 minutes). We recommend taking the road in the dark rather than the forest paths, which are sometimes poorly lit or not lit at all and which Google Maps shows for pedestrians ;-) In any case, sturdy footwear is strongly recommended for all types of forest path, and you should be prepared for a lot of very steep steps when walking around the lake.

A wonderful, clean flat with a magnificent view over the city of Como. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms make it very comfortable, even with small children. Everything was there – in the kitchen, in the bathroom – we didn't want for anything. If you want to watch TV, you won't find anything here, but that didn't bother us at all. Cristina was always quick and easy to contact with any questions; a super-friendly host. All in all a great stay.

We had 4 great days at this accommodation. We arrived by car and were able to park right outside the front door. Check-in was nice and straightforward, so we were able to move straight into the flat, which was really very clean. The best thing about the accommodation: the view! It is stunning and adds just the right touch to your morning coffee or your glass of wine in the evening. 😄 To get into the city, we always drove down by car and parked in a multi-storey car park. Of course, that always costs something – but walking back up the mountain wasn't an option for us 😂

We felt very comfortable; Cristina was an excellent and straightforward host. The check-in process was straightforward, and everything was explained with pictures and worked straight away. You get a great view over the city and up to the mountains. Everything was very nice and stylishly furnished, and as described. A car is advisable due to the hillside location, but this is not a problem thanks to the private parking space in front of the house. We felt absolutely comfortable and would choose it again and would definitely recommend it to others.

We couldn‘t have imagined a better place to stay in Como with our two kids (ages 3 and 5 months). The apartment is beautifully designed and decorated and located up on the hill in a very quiet neigbourhood. It was super clean and it features everything you need. The view is indeed breathtaking. Yes, a car is beneficial. We wouldn‘t have wanted to do everything by bus, especially not with the kids. It takes about 5-7 min to the city center and finding a parking lot is no problem...sometimes you will need to have some patience and circle around a little. Cristina gave us a very friendly welcome and a few minutes after our check-in, she sent us an email with great restaurant suggestions and things to do with our kids. Awesome!!! If a beautiful apartment, which still is very close to the city center, is important to you, book this one. Thanks Cristina!

Great stay at Wonder view! Cristina was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Appartement is very clean, and all was available. Car is better (especially in the winter season). Lovely place, highly recommended!

The apartment "WonderView" is located on the hillside above Como with fantastic views of the city and the lake. The decor is just as cozy as you can see in the photos and everything is super clean. We felt very comfortable in the flat and spent three wonderful days with Cristina, who looks after her guests very well and gave us lots of great tips about the area. We will be happy to come back.

The house is very comfortable and nice. A bit far from the centre, but there's a public bus stop right outside, or if you're coming by car, there's parking. The view is very beautiful from the balcony. And the house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Cristina was very kind to us. We recommend her.

This is a really nice place to stay when visiting Como. The view is amazing as it is locate high on the mountain. It’s a place a relax and you will need to have a car or use public transport sting to reach the apartment. The beds are comfy, well decorated, large bathrooms, amazing kitchen ready for making full meals with a large living room with dining table for four. It has balconies overlooking the city of Como and the area is quite and safe. A 100% recommended place and we would definitely come back to it again. Communication with Cristina is fluid (English in our case) and she is very quick at responding. We really liked Cristina as well!!

We absolutely loved staying with Cristina! We had a 'bride's morning' photoshoot; the interior met all our wishes, everything had been thought of, and communication was reasonably easy, considering our less-than-perfect English skills. The view is stunning, even better than in the photos. We would happily stay again if the opportunity arose. We wanted to write a review in the book in the living room, but unfortunately, we didn't have time. Thank you so much, Cristina, for your hospitality!

Cristina’s place is even nicer than the pictures show. It is very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and the view is spectacular. A car is required though, as the trip up the narrow twisting road is quite exhilarating. That said, we were only a few minutes from all the activity of old town Como but it was nice to get away and relax when we wanted too. Cristina is lovely and gave us several excellent recommendations for places to eat. We tried three of her six recommendations and were really pleased with all. Be sure to meet her sweet kitty cat too! I highly recommend this listing.

We enjoyed our stay at Cristina’s place. The apartment has a beautiful view over Como, decoration is cosy and warm, just as in the pictures. For 2 adults traveling with 2 kids, there is plenty of space with 2 spacious rooms and a bathroom for each. The balcony was a great place to sit, sip a cup of coffee and enjoy the view. Make sure to plan some grocery shopping ahead as the location is in a residential area about 5min away by car from central Como.

Overall, the apartment is as pictured and is very comfortable. Cristina is a great, helpful host. We rate the place 5-stars, but would note the following items: 1. The apartment is up on a hill requiring a 10+ minute bus ride to the city area or 30+ minute walk. 2. Beds were just ok and could certainly be upgraded. 3. Shower water pressure and temperature fluctuated which was annoying. Also, the drain was clogged (in at least 1 shower) which caused water to pool until we cleaned it out (which the cleaner should have done) -- DISGUSTING. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment.

Lovely clean place to stay on top of hill with superb view. Comfortable and with basic needed amenities. Need a car to get there as it’s on top of a hill and has no shops or restaurants at walking distance. All in all a good experience.

The place is super clean and neat, the location is amazing looking over a beautiful view of Como, there's a bus stop just outside the house taking you right to the center of the city. Cristina was an amazing host, communication was smooth and easy and all went very smooth and good.

Stylish flat in a good location. The owner is thoughtful. Ideal for a stay exploring Lake Como and the surrounding area. A must-see is the Villa Carlotta and its garden (enjoy a concert in the ground-floor hall). Take the path that leads to Brunate to admire the magnificent Art Nouveau villas. Lunch or dinner at the Crotto del Sergente restaurant. Stroll through the streets of Como and walk along the lakeshore.
