The space
Connemara Holiday Lettings is proud to present this very well-presented, bright and airy two-bedroom apartment located in the heart of Clifden town centre. All amenities are at your doorstep a perfect location for exploring Connemara.Perfect apartment for couples or friends wishing to get away for a break. No taxis are required!
This first-floor apartment overlooks Main Street situated in an excellent location beside all shops, restaurants and bars.
Accessed via a laneway off Main Street, there is a stairway with approximately 10 steps leading to the apartment.
Layout:
From the entrance, you are led into a large open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room area. This room is bright and airy.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Window above sink overlooking the rear of the property.
There is a dining table seating up to 6 people.
The reception area has a comfy L-shaped couch, coffee table, large flat-screen Tv with surround sound system, and Dvd player. There is also an iPod docking station. There are 2 large windows allowing ample natural light.
From the kitchen area is a door leading to a luxurious shower room with a large power shower, sink unit & Wc.
From the reception area are stairs leading to:-
2 bedrooms 1 Double room and one twin room. Both are carpeted, double bedroom overlooking Main Street and the twin bedroom is overlooking the rear.

Pet friendly
King’s Apartment is happy to welcome your pet, however, we would ask that your pet not be permitted on the furniture or on beds. If additional cleaning is required we may have to deduct this from your damage deposit.
The electricity is pay-as-you-go and is based on a €2 coin meter. There is a charge of €10 for electricity per booking which is entered into the meter before your arrival. It is the guest’s responsibility to top up the meter thereafter.
Linen & towels are included in the rental rate.
Check-in time is between 4 pm & 6 pm
Check-out time is strictly 10 am
Please note that most restaurants & cafes in the area have free internet access.
Parking:- All parking in the town is paid parking. You can purchase your parking ticket at the machine on the main street. It is applicable Mon-Sat from 11.30 am to 6 pm. It is free before and after those times and it is also free on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
There is a free car park less than a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Drive past the Aib bank and turn right towards the Station House Hotel. Drive straight down to the car park.

The property is centrally located and has all modern utilities. There is no free parking as the town has parking metres. The electricity is also on a metre so if staying more tha. a few days this will be an extra cost. Not suitable for elderly as the bathroom is not on the same level as bedrooms and stairs is steep, not unusual in the town properties in Clifden however.

First I’ll start with the positives. The location is perfect, slap bang in the middle of Clifden, parking outside (pay for it) restaurants, bars and the sales. It’s easy to access the apartment. It’s big, clean with 2 separate rooms. However I’ve given it 3 stars because of these things. I think with a few small tweaks the above could be rectified. The apartment is expensive enough to book let alone having to pay for electricity. I have never stayed in an air bnb that requires that. You have to turn on the hot water which takes 30 minutes to heat up before you can shower. When you need to get out and about that’s not very convenient. When we arrived there was no tea available but was coffee. Unusually there was no body wash, shampoo, condition. All that I have stayed in before have had the little hotel ones. Lastly 2 toilet rolls isn’t enough so we ended up buying all the above.

Fantastic location, in the center of the village close to a wide choice of both day and night venues. Close to the two churches of the village and a few kilometers from Clifden Castle ( a couple of kilometers of walk through the hills of the area). The only drawback is that you have to remember to charge the house power with coins for the operation of the kitchen, heating, etc...
