There were 9 of us, and the dining room table was too small. There were too few table settings (9) for a cottage for 10 people. Odour problem in some bathrooms.

Our stay at Fough East was great! The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We wanted to stay in the town that my mom grew up in and Fough East was perfectly located. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars and an easy drive to Galway City or other beautiful Connemara locations.

My family with four boys and my mom and sister just stayed here and we could not say more nice things not only about the home, the host or the village! Having everything so walkable and everyone so friendly made our first place we stayed in Ireland truly amazing! I highly recommend this home as you will instantly fall in love with everything around it. Worked great for a young family! Our boys lived the chickens, lamb and bunny too! And grab food from their butcher shop too! It was incredible!

We had a fantastic week in a wonderful house in a beautiful little town. The only thing we can complain about is the changeable weather. Highly recommended!

With some friends we stayed at the beautiful Connemara Holiday Cottage. The house is as it appears in the photo and I would say even better. Warm and welcoming environments in a quiet area close to supermarkets, bars and pubs where we had an excellent dinner. Super helpful host. I would gladly return, super recommended!

Christa the host was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was really clean, plenty of parking, walking distance to all amenities and pubs. Open plan dining room and living room worked really well for a party of 6.

Great stay in this warm house, very well arranged (5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms), very clean and ideally located in Connemara. Very nice and thoughtful host. Very precise and responsive upstream communication. I highly recommend it.

The ratings published by Connemara Holiday Lettings are general ratings of the properties they manage, as they are intermediaries between the owner and Airbnb. In fact, upon arrival, a review was posted about this accommodation in which they said that some beds were very uncomfortable and the price was very high for the quality and condition of the accommodation. A price that the owner was unaware of. I did not like that they could charge me a non-refundable deposit of €105 in case the apartment was damaged, or a deposit of €500 on my credit card, because they say things happen. I've been on this platform for many years and I've never left a property in worse condition than I found it. You have to explain well in the listings and be honest if you are an intermediary, saying so clearly. I don't think it's acceptable that if they receive a complaint, their response is that they don't manage the accommodation directly, since they take a significant commission.

This was one of the best rentals we’ve ever had. Great location in a very beautiful, quaint Irish town – easy walk to pubs and restaurants. The accommodation was so nice-squeaky clean, plenty of space for everyone – five nice size bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and a full kitchen and dining area and TV area where we could relax after a day of exploring the Irish coast. The host was very kind and made us feel welcome when we arrived with homemade scones and strawberry jam, answered all our questions and gave us some great recommendations on places to eat. I give it my highest possible recommendation!

Traveled to Ireland with my kids and grandchildren. This house was amazing with plenty of room and a separate bath in each bedroom. Our trip to Ireland was a dream. Galway and Connemara easy to get to from this location. We loved our stay in Oughterard where we started our days with a stroll to the small town grocer for coffee and cinnamon rolls, and ended our nights with Guinness and cider in the coziest pubs. We explored castles and cliffs, and ate our body weight in seafoods. I highly recommend this home and location.

Considering the weather and difficulties that the poor people of the village were faced with in the storm, the host was fantastic. Have us a gas stove to cook and extra blankets as well as other help throughout our stay. Highly recommend

We were visiting Ireland for a wedding in Dublin and decided to make a whole trip of it. This was by for our favorite leg of the trip. The house was perfect. We even had a sweet treat upon arrival. It had everything we needed and more. The host was kind and helpful. Our kids enjoyed playing in the side yard and there was plenty of room to wear them out. The town was walkable with really great restaurants, a laundromat, several grocery stores and many cute shops within a few blocks. The host helped us find driver for our day trip to the Cliffs of Moher. We will definitely be recommending this air bnb to everyone and will be back. :)

Great stay at Fough East, very close to all amenities. Nice welcome pack, bread, butter, milk & wine. Lovely friendly host. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lovely place for a larger group looking to explore Connemara or enjoy themselves in Oughterard. Owner lives nearby and is very responsive. The place was super clean, and has plenty of books and games + TV to enjoy. 2 chickens roaming the gardens and a very friendly cat was a nice surprise! Would recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Fough East, it was perfect for our large group. Each bedroom having it's own en-suite worked so well for us. And we were greated by a delicious marble cake on arrival, as well as other thoughtful touches.
