Just wanted to say we had a really great stay at Hill House. The house is full of character with everything you need for a family stay. Small issue on check in but the owner resolved it straight away and even checked back in to make sure everything was fine. Location is fantastic, short walk into the town, but still very peaceful. Clifden is beautiful and has everything you need. We all had a fab time!

The hill house was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. Clean, great location, stunning house. Host made the effort to drop us a message to check everything was ok. Parking available right outside the door. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay, will definitely be returning!

The house is spacious, comfortable, and full of charm. There were seven of us, and we really enjoyed our stay. A huge bonus: Yvonne’s warm welcome and excellent service at the agency—she went above and beyond to meet our needs. We highly recommend it!

Hill House is a beautiful, homely property really spacious for our family of 8 with so much character it felt like somewhere you could call home. fantastic location within easy walking distance to anywhere in Clifden. Quiet but still close to bars & restaurants so the cars didn't move most of the week. Will definitely be back and recommend the house for families

We spent an extraordinary week, the house in Clifden is ideally located for crisscrossing the Connemara region. The house is spacious, very nice with a lot of character , near shops and restaurants while being in a quiet area. We have not seen the renters, a key box allows you to enter the house independently. However, they are responsive and have responded to messages quickly. We paid attention to the heating (old house not necessarily well insulated) but there is no way to see and control the consumption of fuel...we are waiting for the rating! i recommend this rental without reservation.

This property is spacious, homely, family-friendly and perfectly situated. The kitchen is well equipped and we were grateful for the use of the cot, high chair and baby gate. It felt like a home from home.

is a nice location in the center of town, up a street with beautiful views to the church. They give us early check in and late check out, thank you. The house it has many rooms, it has old elegance with renovations. The only issue is that they charge for oil and electrical consume and there are some heaters that don't turn off properly. The company give us a discount for this, thank you, however it was the more expensive utility bill of my life. They ask more from the guest than other Airbnb, like to undress the bed. If not for this issue it is an option in Clifden. Thank you.

We stayed in Hill House for a week at Easter. The house is beautiful and has everything you would need. The bedrooms are spacious, lovely big bath in the main bathroom and really good shower in the ensuite. The living room was cosy at night with the open fire lit. The kitchen was equipped really well. The garden is lovely to sit out in. The house is literally a 2 second walk to the town centre with restaurants, pubs and shops. Would highly recommend this house as it’s one of the best we have stayed in Connemara :)

Just back from a week long stay at Hill House which we really enjoyed. The upstairs of the house is nice and bright, and the view of the town from the master bedroom window is fabulous. Downstairs could be brightened up a little, but overall the house has charm. Parking is a little tight for a four bed house, but the fact that Hill House is approx 3 minutes walk to the town meant that we didn’t have to take the cars out as many times during the day, as we would have if staying more rural. Overall a lovely stay.
