The space
Clochan holiday home (sleeping up to 4 guests) is a small traditional cottage set in a rural idyllic setting oozing in character offering a peaceful getaway just a stone's throw from the Atlantic Ocean along the Wild Atlantic Way.This warm & comfortable cottage is the perfect hideaway, home from home, where one can unwind from the bustling city life.
This little hideaway cottage is the perfect place for creative solo escapes a romantic weekend away or an adventurous family or friend getaway.
Its prime location offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean in a rural idyllic setting ideal for walking, golfing, fishing, diving, horse riding, windsurfing and many other outdoor activities. There is a pier only a stone's throw from the cottage where you can go and enjoy an early morning swim. White sandy beaches and DunLoughin surfing beach are all within easy driving distance.
Layout as follows:
Open plan sitting room, dining area & fully fitted kitchen, double bedroom, shower room, narrow staircase leading to double room with twin beds (not suitable for young children or elderly). Conservatory. Ample parking
Watch the sunset from the dining room table or conservatory. There is an open plan fireplace ideal for those cosy nights in with a good book.
Stunning panoramic sea & mountain views. Connemara has some of the best and most unspoilt landscapes in the world with its raw beauty & ruggedness. Perfect spot for sea swim lovers!

Beautiful location, small house as small as well located - unfortunately too many junk and personal items of the owners. Padellame in poor condition. When renting the premises, it would be necessary to free them from too many personal items, brushes, kitchen mops not new, etc. Too bad because the location is wonderful. Double bed at the PT very comfortable and clean, in the attic there were countless cobwebs. Tom-which lives nearby- very kind.

We could not have loved our stay at Tom's house more. It is remote and peaceful with amazing views but also in a great position to explore the beautiful countryside of Connemara. We found it so homely and comfortable and we enjoyed cooking and eating with that fantastic view. We were glad we had come with provisions as it is a good drive to the shops but it had everything we could wish for in the kitchen and felt like a home from home - we very much appreciated the wood burner and the great CD collection. Tom was very helpful and responsive. It is a really special place and we would love to return some day.

We’ve stayed in many AirB&B’s and this is by far one of our favourites. The cottage was immaculate and welcoming, and full of character. Everywhere there were tasteful and unique items that lent a charm to the cottage. It’s very remote, which is ideal if you want a private get away, and the views and setting are magical. Tom went out of his way to be accommodating and make us comfortable during our stay. We would love to come back one day.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
