Set between the Atlantic Ocean, 12 Ben Mountains and preserved boglands, lies the town of Clifden on the Coast of Connemara. Once Upon a Tide has magnificent sea views and is only 3 km from Clifden the Capital of Connemara.There is a large open plan living area perfect for entertaining offering a fully fitted kitchen, dining & conservatory area, two separate sitting rooms with fires and 5 very spacious bedrooms.
Fully fitted kitchen, with island, electronic oven and hob, dishwasher, integrated microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. Tile flooring leads into the dining area with seating for 8-10 guests, and a large window with panoramic sea views.

Elegant, very cosy sitting room with large picture windows with sea views, comfy sofas and gas fire.
Second cosy sitting room with 2 x couches, Tv and large picture windows again with stunning sea views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Separate utility room equipped with washing machine and dryer.

Once Upon a Tide was a beautiful home with stunning views. It was peaceful and so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved the views from the main living room in the evening. It is also perfectly located for exploring the West coast. We made several day trips to see the sights AND there were discounts thanks to our hosts! Clifden is a charming village with excellent food and live music! We hope we can visit again! Thank you!

Once Upon a Tide is a beautiful house in an amazing setting. The views from the living rooms and dining room are beautiful. The house is set on a hill overlooking the water, so it is not right on the water - there are houses down below. The location of the house right on Sky Rd Loop in Connemara is beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious. Only one downstairs bedroom has a waterfront view. The showers in the house need some updating - some of the doors don’t close well and the shower controls are difficult to use. There are also other small things around the house that need fixing. The management office was very responsive and made after hours check in very easy - we got a key out of a lock box right at the house. Overall we had a good stay.

Such a beautiful part of the world! We loved Clifden and the surrounding areas. The house was perfect - large and spacious for the five of us. Kitchen had everything we needed for making big family meals and the wood burning fireplace in the family room was enjoyed every evening. View was spectacular! So peaceful and quiet. We will be back- we loved it:)

- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
