We had a lovely stay in Spiddal. The home was as described and met our needs. A tranquil and lovely private space. We would have liked a table and chairs outside to sit out in the nice weather. A little further out from the village so not ideal for walking so transport is essential. The children enjoyed feeding Bobby, the cat. Great sea views and would recommend for anyone visiting Spiddal. Home had all the amenities we needed. Very responsive host. Great stay overall.

Beautiful views from the house. Cosy and spacious with an extremely well equipped kitchen. Spiddal local town was sweet and the house good location to get out to Aran islands with Rossaveel ferry. Connemara national park although a bit of a drive ( very scenic drive ) is well worth it.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning cottage. We were accommodated very well, which was super helpful traveling from the US with 2 children. We also had extra help as we needed some a sitter for my cousins wedding. We truly felt right at home. We had very close access to groceries, the local shops, gorgeous beaches, restaurants.. the location was perfection. The views from the cottage alone were like a painting. There was also a stunning safe road right from the house I went running on, for anyone looking for that as well. We also loved how easy it was to do a day trip to the Aran Islands from the cottage. We were extremely satisfied with the amenities, clear instruction, and the ease and comfort within the home. Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

Lovely stay in this house and Mairead was a lovely host. The house is beautifully kept and comfortable, within easy distance of beaches, shops, pubs etc. Bearna is a short drive and offers better options for eating. Overall we had a lovely time and cant recommend Mairead and her house more highly.

we had a great stay. the house is really lovely, in a quiet area and very well kept. the views from the back of the house across the bay are beautiful. it is a bit of a walk to the village but we knew that when booking, but there are plenty of uber drivers - the longest we had to wait was 15 minutes - and it costs less than 5e each way.
