Hillside House is a real gem! Set in a quiet & idyllic spot along the famous Bog Road to Roundstone. Boasting fabulous mountain views and is only a mere 7-minute drive from the bustling town of Clifden, which has many restaurants, pubs, craft shops and a wonderful atmosphere. This bright and airy 2 bedroom cottage provides modern comfortable living with a ‘home from home’ feeling.Layout:

Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen offering dishwasher, electric oven & hob, microwave. Large countertop with breakfast bar & 4 stools.
Dining area with table & chairs seating 4 guests. The dining area offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and hills with its panoramic window layout.
The door leads to a patio & large garden area.
Door leading:
Utility room housing ample storage space, separate washing machine & dryer. Great area for storing wet / fishing gear or kids' buggies.

From the Hallway, there are 2 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Large, bright & airy double bedroom with 2 windows overlooking the front of the property and with views of the famous Ben Mountain range. Double bed, 2 bedside lockers with lamps, Dressing table with mirror and stool. Also a convenient open-plan wardrobe with shelving.
Ensuite shower room with Wc & sink unit.
Bedroom 2: Large bright and airy double bedroom with 1 large window overlooking mountains & garden area. Free-standing wardrobe, mirror and bedside lockers with lamps. Both bedrooms come with the added bonus of black-out blinds.

Upstairs leads to a perfect area for children/teenagers' den or where one can relax after a fun-filled day in Connemara and switch off from the world! There is a comfy chair & footstool, a selection of books and games.

Beautifully paved patio area with the Bbq and garden furniture. With access to large garden & washing line.
Ample parking at the front of the property.
Gates leading into the house. Fully enclosed.

Linen & Towels are included in the rental rate.
During peak season changeover days are Saturdays
Check-in time is between 4 pm & 6 pm (If you require a later check-in time please let us know)
Check-out time is 10 am on the day of departure.

Vacances inoubliables… Exceptional accommodation, very spacious Tastefully decorated, there is everything you can hope for, everything is convenient too, you quickly feel very good. The environment of the house is also exceptional, in the heart of Connemara, peaceful, we take full eyes Patrick is super responsive, and full of kindness, the Irish are a rare kindness Thank you so much!!!!!!!! Hoping to come back someday… To continue discovering this little paradise...

The house was perfect. You have all the needed things to live and stay from few days to weeks. Spécial mentions to bed very confortable. The hoste is very proactive: thank you for the barbecue even under rain ;-) The wild and quiet environment is fabulous. Clifden with all restaurants and activities just at 4kms is really nice. And of course the connemara through the window is the icing on the cake.

Everything was perfect! The place is great and very large. The location is ideal as it is very quiet with magnificent views! The plus, the accommodation is located at the beginning of the bog road with breathtaking landscapes. The house was very clean, well appointed and very functional. In short, I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in the heart of Connemara and 5 minutes from the small town of Cliffden.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
