6 Glynsk Cottages is a detached cottage situated a short distance from the quaint village of Cashel. Peaceful with breathtaking views, this lovely holiday home is the perfect base for exploring everything Connemara has to offer.

This property is within walking distance of a restaurant and pub - no taxi is required! Roundstone Village is only a short coastal drive away with its stunning beaches Gurteen and Dog's Bay. Perfect accommodation for a couple, or friends wanting to get away from it all. It will appeal to those seeking peace, tranquillity & beautiful surroundings. Superb for holidaymakers who love walking, hiking or fishing. Nearby you will find Ballynahinch Castle with its wonderful gourmet cuisine, stunning walks, and fishing, Cashel House Hotel is worth a visit, take a stroll around the fabulous gardens, The Zetland Hotel, Johnny O’Loughlin’s Bar provides delicious bar food and hosts music nights. Cashel Hill stands majestic at the top of the bay, it is worth a visit. From the summit one can behold some of the most breathtaking views of the surrounding area, there is also a megalithic tomb.

The cottage is spacious for a family of 8 persons. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. spacious living room and dining room. The accommodation is located in a hamlet with a beautiful landscape. John has always been attentive and réactiv in our discussions. The accommodation is very well located for visiting Connemara. No supermarket nearby but you have to go to Clifden (20km), however in the nearby villages, there is a store or pétrole station to buy the essentials. Overall we had a great stay.

The location of the house is great. The landscapes around are amazing. We spent lovely days in Connemara in this cottage. There is a lot of space in the house for a family. The communication was nice.

We were fortunate to be the first guests in this freshly updated "cottage" in Connemara. Don't let the name cottage fool you, this is a full blown house with 4 bedroom and 3 bathrooms, a big living room and lovely little garden at the back. We were positively surprised when we arrived and it's obvious that the new owners have updated the space with new wardrobes and some furnishings and probably much more. We received a lovely welcome email that also contained some tips for local beaches, shops and restaurants and managed to check out some of them. Overall we'd love to come back and further explore the surroundings. Thank you

Property Manager Terms

For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
