The space
Here, location, style, comfort, and luxury are beautifully combined to bring you a true showstopper. The Florian Boutique Guesthouse features five exclusive rooms, including two exquisitely crafted self-catering lofts that exude charm, elegance, and style. We especially love the open-plan living, kitchen, and dining areas in these two units—they’re sociable spaces where you can stay connected with loved ones, whether you’re lounging on the sofa, catching up on your latest Netflix series (on our Smart TV), or whipping up a delicious snack in the kitchen.

Expect to find a minimalist setting with a neutral palette, simple yet stylish, radiating understated elegance. The interior is chic with a touch of luxury to make your stay memorable, comfortable, and special. The comfy double bed and spa-like ensuite bathroom are both gorgeous. After a long day, step into the chic, black-framed rain shower—a surefire way to relax, wash the day away, and prepare for a deep slumber.

The highlight for us? The property’s Roof Top Lounge is a true standout, featuring really lovely comfy seating. It’s the perfect place to unwind after an exciting day in Malta—the breeze is spectacular year-round. The large terrace is ideal for both sunrise and sunset, where you can enjoy an Aperol Spritz, a glass of wine, or, if you’re on a personal detox journey, a smoothie or warm tea to melt your worries away. Our Zzzing recommendation: Take the elevator up to the rooftop lounge, armed with a bottle of local wine, and watch the sky transform into hues of red and orange at dusk.

Self‑Check‑In, Eco Tax & Guest Portal:
This is a self‑check‑in Property. Your unique access code will be available in your Guest Portal once the eco tax has been paid and your Self Check‑In Form completed. Check-in time is 3PM but you are welcome to drop off your luggage if you arrive earlies. Check the Guest Portal for more info. Once your booking is confirmed, our Guest Experience Team will be in touch and you can choose your preferred way to communicate with us; our phone number is also available in the Guest Portal if you’d like to speak to someone directly.

Submitting your eco tax online:
Eco tax, in line with Malta’s Environmental Contribution regulations, must be paid securely via our online payment link before arrival. A secure payment link is sent to you upon booking confirmation. For a smooth arrival, we recommend submitting your payment on the day you book, so you can then complete your Self Check‑In Form and gain access to our Guest Portal to start planning your stay.

Perfect for a stay in Valetta without the noise and the many people. Very nice functional place and lovely deco. Easy to reach Valetta. The team is very responsive and kind. The person who opened the door and showed us to our room was really helpful and nice. We had problems opening the door because we thought it was an actual key and there was an actual keybox on the side of the door but it was actually the black digital case just above it that was meant for the code. We just didn't understand it because it was all black. I called the team and had difficulties to understand the lady on the phone but then the team member inside the building opened nicely. So it was really ok. Just note to use the black digital case to enter and not the keybox below. The appartement was really clean and calm. And the bed was heaven. Best mattress ever for a bad back ! Thank you Zzzing for your nice communication! We will definitely come back.

Had a lovely stay. The Airbnb is located in a more local town, but very easy to get to other locations by taxi or boat! The place itself is exactly as described and very spacious!

We spent just one night in this accommodation located in Bormla, Cospicua, one of the 3 cities. We're fine there. The roof top is lovely. The host is very responsive if you need anything. I recommend them.

We loved the rooftop patio - it was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the neighbourhood views. The location was excellent, with easy access to the ferry to Valletta. The apartment was very clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The only challenge we encountered was communication regarding a late checkout. The host kindly offered us a late checkout, but because we didn't have a local EU phone number, we were unable to call the managing host directly as requested. While we were able to reach someone from the management company via Whats App, they weren't able to assist with the request. In the end, it wasn't a major issue, but it would have been helpful if communication could have been handled through the Airbnb app or if there had been a more streamlined process for guest requests.

Pros: everything is exactly as shown in the photos. Things to note: there are no bathroom amenities (shampoo, shower gel) or slippers. Bring them with you! There was a problem with a hob that wasn't working, which they promised to fix within 24 hours, but that didn't happen. It's a shame, as one of the reasons we chose this apartment was the possibility of using our own kitchen. Cons: you can hear the neighbours very clearly

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
