As described. Thanks to the previous reviews, we were able to anticipate the bells. Too bad we didn't know about the many stairs before because we were with elderly people. There are no utensils in the kitchen, we made do with the means at hand and the help of the Zzzing team for the missing equipment.

We stayed at the property in October with 6 people for 5 nights. Pro: - Easy check in - Good and fast communication - Plenty of space - "Local feeling" - nice little restaurants and shopping - Rooftop terrace - Comfortable bed linen and beds Cons: - The condition of the apartment is significantly worse than shown in the pictures. - Damp/musty smell from the vaulted cellar in the entrance area - Mould/water stains in each of the bedrooms - Shower head defective, but was repaired after two days. - Toilet lid loose/clocks/TV kitchen did not work - Kitchen equipment insufficient and partly in poor condition - Coffee machine not usable with the available capsules despite explanation - Volume from the church bells! Church right next door. Bells ring every 15 minutes. On Saturday/Sunday, a church service will be held for 1 hour and 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. Sleeping is absolutely impossible!

Would totally stay again. The rooftop terraces (2) were a delight, relaxing above much of the village and catch the fresh air. The basement game room delighted our kids - good memories and unwinding after sightseeing. Siggiewi felt very, very safe. Small streets, good people, etc. Tiny grocery kiosk across street for essentials like milk, fruit, pasta, cans. He even carried our water to our doorstep for us! A larger grocery store was within walking distance. We found the church bells beautiful (quieter in some bedrooms). And at Holy Week before Easter, which was when we went, the church square came alive for one of the big events of this small village: the Maundy Thursday devotional light display and pilgrim walk to Laferla Cross. A very holy thing to experience. And like other Maltese villages, the clapper rang from the bell tower nonstop for that evening. So we experienced both loud and quiet! Typical stone-house smell on lower floors. Owner quickly reinserted a plug for us.

Siggiwie is a beautiful, authentic village, where unfortunately many bells can be heard (at fifteen minutes), a typical sound of Malta that is very Catholic and which manifests itself extra in the week around Easter. The house is located near the church... and so you can't get out of it. For the rest, no complaints. Pros are the lovely beds, the new bedding and bath towels, the comfortable kitchen and the games room with pool table. It was still too cold for the roof terrace. Also, everyone is friendly and helpful in the restaurants and shops! Public transport and the Bolt taxis 10/10.

The place suited our needs, a few restaurants in walking distance that had good service & food. The property was big, the games room was a nice place to chill in the evening. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds. One thing that ruined our stay and has put us off returning here was the church next door that bells ring every 15 minutes, it’s no fault of the airbnb and we were aware of it being there beforehand but didn’t realise it rang through the night too! Not one of our 6 guests had an uninterrupted sleep in the few nights we stayed here so keep this in mind!

Unit was beautiful. It had a large number of rooms, bathrooms and leisure areas. The only thing I can highlight negative about the home is the location, since it is located far from the main areas of the island.

I stayed here for 12 days with my family. We stayed during the festival of Saint Nicholas. The location is very good, only about 20 meters walk to the church of Siġġiewi. The property has many bedrooms and it's great for multiple groups. The bell tower was very loud however it was ringing more than often due to the festival, aside from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zzzing’s listing and would recommend to others.

Group of 8 friends stayed for 3nights. We struggled a little with the access initially but was very impressed with quick and speedy support to get us in. The area is quiet (minus the church bells!!) but local bakery and restaurants were very good and accommodating when we did want to dine/drink locally. Fed back some issues about water (off colour and temperature issues) but we made it work where every room has an en suite, though this was a bit disappointing. That being said, the price per person was very reasonable considering the other facilities too - the games room was a great addition!!

We loved every single day in Malta! Mostly because of our place to stay and the lovely staff that took care of us. The house is amazing for a friend group or a family since it offers many bedrooms, including bathrooms. The kitchen and the basement are perfect places to chill out and have deep talks at night ;) we would definitely recommend it!

Amazing space. We loved every minute we spent there. The stuff was very helpful whenever we needed them. If we visit malta again, definitely this would be our option again. Cheers

Very clean and tidy place. WiFi was decent in most areas of the home. Bathroom was spotless! Bed mattress and pillows were so comfortable, falling asleep felt so good! Kitchen TV was not working, but we forgot to call Zzzing so bear that in mind, as they probably would’ve helped us fix/replace the TV. The TV in the cave area was faulty but was replaced the very same day after 1 call. Support was instantaneous at all times :) Ceilings were very low, so a safety hazard as many of us (on multiple occasions) bumped our heads. Kitchen has no microwave :( couldn’t reheat food without the use of the oven. Tumble dryer was difficult to use without instructions as it was labelled in different language to English. Home has too many floors and staircases, so not ideal for everyone. Very annoying church bell kept ringing every 30mins, so loud during the middle of the night too, so it will disturb your peace and sleep if you’re a light sleeper.

One of the kind property that’s for sure !! So much space for my family of nine included so much space with individual bathrooms and bedrooms for each one of us ( we stayed two in each room. ) plus the outside terraces ( two that offer amazing views of the town ) and to finalise - the OMG entertainment space in basement level - pool table , video games , bar space , darts etc - we had great time making most of our evenings there 🥳🥳🤩!

The house is finely and recently renovated, however it is not easy for everyone due to the presence of many stairs! It is in the center of a very nice and quiet village, very close to a pastry shop where with very few euros you can have lunch with excellent pastries. Being very close to the center of the village, it is also very close to the main church, equipped with a bell tower that plays frequently.

6 cutlery, we were 7, not enough cooking utensils. 1 dryer is not really useful. We would have preferred a dishwasher. An access code front door that never worked despite our phone call on the 1st day. We had to figure it out and find a solution to lock the door when we were going for a walk. Luckily Mac Giver was with us...

It was a great stay. Me and 5 of my friends couldn’t wished for a more perfect place that was only 20/25 mins away from St Paul’s bay & st. Julian’s. The house exceeded our expectations. the rooms were very spacious with en-suite rooms. All appliances worked apart from an issue with the dryer. But 10/10 for me! & the hosts were extremely responsive, polite and were always on hand to help.

This is the best value house I've ever stayed in for the best value, no need to prepare the English standard plug, the house is ready.It is an hour walk from Blue Cave, and it is easy to walk to scenic spots.I've been walking for the past few days because public transportation is too garbage in Malta and taxis are not cheap, so if you want to hike to the scenic spot, this is a very good place.
