The Good: Great location, everything you need right on the doorstep, 5 mins from the beach. The appartment was clean and had everything you could need. Has one Air Con unit in the main room but as the bedrooms are directly adjacent it keeps the place cool even in August if you leave the bedroom doors open and the kitchen door shut. The roof terrace has great views and is great for sitting out. The Bad: Had a problem checking in as the Google Map link points you toward a different entrance on the other side of the building. Tried calling our contact to resolve but nobody would pick up. Finally figured it out for ourselves but that was frustrating. Having an underground car parking spot is great but be aware that it is not on the same street and 2 levels down. Like many car parks in Spain it is also very tight and a bit of a challenge to navigate with a hire car. Also there is not a lot of sound proofing in the building so there was quite a lot of noise from the other appartments.

Top location to stay. The car park is easily accessible for large cars (SUVs) and is a 3-minute walk from the accommodation. Certainly subject to repetition!

The apartment is very well located for enjoying the delights of Calpe and the surrounding area as well. The parking is a plus. We also enjoyed the terrace. Everything is perfect for a good stay. Maria, who welcomed us, is very responsive. Thank you to her.

We are so pleased with the apartment and had a wonderful stay there for our 3 week vacation. It was an excellent central location, very clean, incredible views, and very well equipped. The rooms were big and comfy beds, and hosted us 3 adults perfectly. The hosts were in contact regularly, and answered any questions we had promptly and efficiently. The car parking space was in a separate building, but not too far to walk to the apartment. The space was quite tight, so I would advise coming in a small car (said from experience!). All in all, a great place to stay and I would stay there again in the future.

I loved our stay and the best thing about the flat is the terrace with an amazing view! Also, the shops are very close by as well as the sea. The bed was comfortable and kitchen has all the necessary equipment. The only maybe downside is the noise from the house which is nothing you can do about really as the walls are thin and you can’s hear the neighbors as well. Would recommend and stay there again.

Great stay at Apartamento Pondarosa 54 – a clean, well-equipped apartment in a perfect location. Beautiful views from the terrace, and the Costa CarpeDiem service is very helpful and nice. I definitely recommend it!

Our stay in Calpe was spectacular! The house is exactly as pictured, access was easy, it’s centrally located walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and the beach! The view from the large deck was a joy to take in while eating breakfast or having a beverage at sunset! We would highly recommend staying with Christophe if you are planning a trip to this area!

Excellent location, beach, shops, restaurants all near. As we needed help, Maria answered very soon and was very kind. Apartment was very clean and in good condition. We had nice two weeks there.

Great hosts, very clear instructions, Maria made sure we were well looked after. Excellent location, near to beach, old town, and restaurants. Apartment is extremely well appointed with everything we could need, and as for the views, could not ask for better. The balcony is huge and a great sun trap. The description is very accurate. The apartment is on the top of the building, ( lift works great ), and is very quiet, a real haven to chill out and watch the sunset. We could not have asked for better. Many thank, thoroughly recommend.

We wanted to spend 10 weeks in the winter in the sun. Have chosen this apartment because of the beautiful terrace with lots of sun in the description. Unfortunately it is north side, so no sun, we have not even been able to use the terrace. The location of the apartment is sensational. Right in the center. Five minutes walk to the beach. The landlords were very nice. The apartment itself is quite cramped (and there were only two of us). The bidet in the description was not provided. Wouldn't have gone into the tiny bathroom either. Likewise, the safe was not there. There was also no space for a crib. The garage is not on the premises (as described) but two blocks away. Although it was good to have a garage. The parking situation is catastrophic. It is very nice, due to the location of the apartment. Everything can be reached on foot . If the description of the apartment was correct, you could decide if you are satisfied with it because the price is hot.

What an amazing apartment. We loved the whole place but especially the spacious roof terrace. It was sunny in the morning then in the shade from about 2pm (Sept/Oct) which was perfect after a day at the beach. We needed shade. The furniture, cooking facilities, glasses, plates etc were excellent. The oven, hob and microwave were new. The location was excellent. Beach, restaurants, bars and supermarkets all within 5 minutes walk. Despite being so central, the bedrooms were very quiet. The local contact is very friendly. She looked after us extremely well. We liked the apartment so much, on the second day of our stay, we booked it for next year!

The property was amazing. Beautiful terrace that overlooked the whole bay. Everything in walking distance including supermarkets, the beach and plenty of restaurants. Old Town also in walking distance. The beach was gorgeous. Never felt overcrowded. Altea and other nearby villages were all worth visiting. Loved Calpe for a 10 day family break with teenage sons. Would definitely come back.

1 week vacation with family. The house is even better than in photos. The large terrace with city view and a glimpse of the sea. It had everything you need to eat out or relax and sunbathe. House clean, tidy and with air conditioning that has sometimes come in handy. Just outside the house there is a supermarket and an infinity of restaurants. The beach is always 5 minutes away, the historic center is 5 minutes away. Finally, the kindness of Christophe and Maria, 2 wonderful people ready for every request. Absolutely recommend

Beautiful apartment, wonderfully large roof terrace with blinds. Within 10 min. walking distance of the beach. But equally centrally located with regard to restaurants, shops, etc. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Great place, great location to explore Calpe, close to the old city and the beach. The terrace with the great view is an amazing place, where you can enjoy the sun through the whole day if you like. The free parking spot is an amazing addition, since it is extremely difficult to find parking spots in the center. I can definitely recommend to everyone!

Stayed here for one week to combine remote work and cycling. Less than 5 minutes to the beach, within 10-20 minutes in the Spanish mountains. Clean and spacious appartment with everything you need. Good communication and very friendly host Maria. The real USP is the rooftop terrace with amazing view. Would book again if I go back to Calpe.

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The location in the old town of Calpe is fantastic and close to all amenities. We had some trouble late at night with finding the apartment but the host was incredibly helpful and that's how we finally found it anyway. Host is very warm and helpful. Definitely recommended

Great apartment, good terrace with views over the sea and mountains, good location for bars, restaurants, shops and the beach, all within 5 minute walk. Apartment was clean and as described, communication was excellent before and during our 10 day visit.

Very nice accommodation with a wonderful view from the roof terrace. Around the neighbourhood, there is the shopping street, the beach and, not least, all the restaurants and coffee shops.
