Even though flat is just a couple of blocks away from all the nightlife (and noise) of Bairro Alto, it was really quiet, so you get the best of both. Everything was new and impeccable, from linen and towels to furniture. AC also worked perfectly, which is important if you visit in summer, considering the flat if is the attic of an old renewed building. You can tell they’ve thought about details for the guests, such as appropriate places to hang and store clothes, positioning of sockets, etc. The only thing you have to keep in mind is the height of the ceiling. The middle section (highest) is just a few centimetres higher than 175cm, so you always have to duck when circulating around the flat as not to hit your head.

We had a great experience at Music Guest House. Check-in was easy and convenient with a code. No keys needed. The host was friendly and very responsive. They provided lots of recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The place was very clean and had everything you need. Great shower pressure. Comfortable bed. It was very quiet in the apartment. We didn’t hear any of the other guests or dogs during the night. The black out curtains are great! The WiFi in the bedroom was a bit weak if you intend to work so I used the hotspot from my phone most of the time for zoom calls but for browsing it’s enough.

Good location, clean and good communication, but it is necessary to warn that the apartment I stayed, for example, has many steep stairs. A person with any mobility difficulties does not arrive at the apartment which is a low ceiling terrace.

Very good at the stay we spent in the Mozart room. We were afraid that the ceiling would be too low after reading the comments, but nothing more care in a few places could not resolve. I did not feel the feeling of claustrophobia at all, that was my fear. Bed linen and cleaning were impeccable every day. We are consumers of a lot of coffee so we are very happy to discover a special attention every day to replenish the coffee. I will not exclude staying in the same room when we have another chance to return to Lisbon! Anyway, great quality for the proposed price!

Location and apartment itself was top. It just wasn't mentioned anywhere that the ceiling is very low and is also sloping. The shower head can also not hang but is on the side. If you are longer than 175 cm, you constantly hit your head (so we had this). For the little people among us I would definitely recommend!

The stay was great. The area is amazing, in the Barrio Alto, very close to restaurants, bars and downtown 10 minutes walk away. The apartment is very new and clean, it has everything we need. You can walk to everything and the apartment despite being in a busy area is quiet and you can't hear that much noise. We had a couple of issues and they fixed them very quickly. Thank you for everything! We love Lisbon, we'll be back

The place is in a good neighborhood with a lot of variety for restaurants and bars. 5 min walking is the best pastel de nata we had in Lisbon. Good access to public transport. The apartment is definitely not made for tall people, the ceiling is very low and the apartment is very tiny

Thank you, we had a lovely time in Lisbon and this place was perfect for what we needed. Great location, near to restaurants, bars and transport. The host was very responsive, even to the point of letting us know the night before our check out if they had anyone checking in the next day, and allowed us to leave our bags there for the day and collect later. The location is excellent, the place is super clean and clean every day, communication with the host was easy. I really like the place. Only point is that I could have a minibar in the room, I didn't pay attention to it when I booked it and it was needed, especially since it was quite hot when I went. But I highly recommend the place.

We stayed in the accommodation for 10 nights. We had the Mozart room in the attic. Basically, we really liked this place, especially the communication with the provider and the location within the city was outstanding. A star deduction for the quite low construction of the accommodation, as well as the brightness of the accommodation, for us both things we can handle - but not everyone else if necessary. Overall round experience with a seasonal price in the middle field for the season.

Great location and very clean stay. Little things like the ceilings are slanted and low so we kept hitting our heads and we are not very tall (5’6”). Otherwise great stay!

Location was perfect - great restaurants and bars in surrounding area. Street was quiet for the area that it was located. Only Downfall is if you are tall, the ceiling will be a challenge.
