We have stayed in Manolis place for a week and had a great time. The apartment is situated in the city center and the location is excellent. The place itself is spacious and equipped with everything you need for a short or prolonged stay. We found it clean and ready for us upon arrival. We had excellent communication with our host Manolis who responded always within minutes. The only gripe I have is that the mattress was quite uncomfortable and a bit worn. I have a severe back problem and that caused me some discomfort, but besides that everything else was great and we had really good time. I do recommend the place, especially to people who plan to walk a lot in the city or plan to move around the island, since the bus station is 5-10 minutes on foot from the apartment.

Manolis was very responsive, friendly and answered any questions we had. The accommodation is well located, just across the street from a cafe where we often had breakfast, close to everything (on foot). There is space to park your car but parking is paid on the street. Very convenient accommodation! Only downside: the street is quite noisy because a lot of traffic (car, motorbike, truck) it can be heard in the room at night.

Nice apartment. Located on the 1st floor. We travel to Rethymno 1 to 2 times per year. This is the 4th time we are staying at an apartment in Rethymno. This is without a doubt the best apartment at this time. No service, such as change of mock clothes and bedding. But there is no need since there is a washing machine in the apartment and there are several sets of both hand linens and linens. Lots of car traffic on day and night Do not disturb the noise when the doors are closed. Some traffic noise, but it calmed down late night. Paid parking right by the apartment, €0.7 per hour 08 - 21, free Sunday. Possible to find free parking 2-300m upwards from the apartment. Satisfied with the apartment, happy to recommend others and rent it. Will no doubt rent it again if it is vacant when we leave.

Everything in the apartment was as described. Manolis was really very nice, courteous and flexible. The traffic can be heard quite loudly, but that was not a problem for us. The kitchen is equipped with everything important. The Drop Bar across the street makes very tasty food. Overnight and Sunday parking is free in the parking lot in front of the house. 10 minutes to the beach and old town. perfect for us. We felt very comfortable and would stay here again.

The accommodation is ideally located, not directly in the old town, but the old town and the Venetian port can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Parking for a car is available (partly free of charge). Bus stop is in front of the door. Shopping facilities (supermarket) are in the immediate vicinity. The accommodation is spacious and even equipped with washing machine. The apartment is located directly on a main road. Traffic is clearly audible due to the simple window glazing.

I stayed at Manolis’ place for a little over two months while working remotely. The apartment couldn’t have been more perfect! It has a designated workspace which was super convenient for those that have work to do, and most importantly, speedy internet! The apartment is located just outside of the Old Town and surrounded by cafes, restaurants, bakeries, shops, a supermarket across the street, and next to the bus stop if you need to go further than walking distance. Manolis couldn’t have been a better host and was always responsive in a timely manner when I needed help with something! Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would recommend Manolis’ Place to anyone looking to visit Rethymno!

Perfect central location, walking distance to everything in Rethymno. Apartment was spacious and I had everything I needed. Manolis was great and was waiting for me when I arrived and helped carry my bags to the apartment. I've been to Rethymno many times so I didn't need much help with recommendations but he was easily available and responsive. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone it has everything you need and across the street from the supermarket while being on the main street so convenient if you need to take a bus. It was an amazing deal for what I paid for

i have been at Manolis property 3 nights in September. It 's been a fantastic stay. The flat is very close to the centre of Rethymno and also in a safe area. I went for a tango festival and every night got home very late withouth any issue. The flat has all kind of equipment: nice gesture the parasol for the beach;). Also nice finding shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, even the supermarket is just opposite the building. Manolis also is very helpful and gentle. i strongly recommend this place if you are planning to go to Rethymno. I will definitely come back!!

Everything went perfect with Manolis. He was very helpful and considering host. The apartment was clean and had everything necessary. Location is good near the beautiful old town and beach. The road next to the apartment is quite noisy. We had a lovely stay in Manoli's place, warmly recommended!

We had a great time in Rethymno! Manolis's apartment is great! It is only 5 minutes from the city and ten minutes from the beach. You have everything you need and Manolis is very nice! Key handover worked great although we already left at 5 o'clock in the morning. Only parking was a bit difficult, otherwise everything very good!

I stayed over Manolis for a period of three months, as I stayed in Rethymno for a long business trip, and I truly enjoyed it! As other guests have already mentioned, the house is located in a perfect spot- everything you might need or wish to visit is just so close-by. Manolis was a great host, helpful, kind and very responsive. Convenient and spacious accommodation, and everything is just as in the pictures. Would recommend this apartment to anyone and I would definitely go back.

A Great location in the center of Rethimno but an old house that needs a few extra touches to be able to get more stars. The bed mattress is bumpy, the windows old and you definitely need earmuffs to be able to sleep.

Comfortable accommodation, great location, friendly host. One could not ask for a better location, more comfortable accommodation, or more attentive host. Because it is centrally located and the town is vibrant, you might want to bring earplugs, if you are sensitive to noise. Would definitely rent from Manolis again.

Location The location of the apartment is excellent. Very centrally located. Supermarket and bakery right outside the door. 5 minutes' walk to the old town. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away. The apartment is located on a busy main road. It's still quiet at night. The house itself is very quiet. Facilities The apartment is ideally suited for 2-3 people. The furniture is well equipped. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare breakfast and simple dishes. We didn't cook. But in general, everything would be available. There is also electronic equipment (gaming console), but we have not dealt with it. Therefore, no review possible. There are plenty of towels and linens. The apartment also has a washing machine. The mattress of the bed is not suitable for people with orthopaedic back problems (too soft). Neither does the pull-out sofa. Cleanliness The apartment was sufficiently clean. Only the shower cubicle gave cause for complaint. However, the shower cubicle is sufficiently large so that you do not come into contact with the two or three "neglected" places. Parking The apartment is located in a paid parking zone of the place. Costs: between 7:30 am and 9 pm 0.70 euros per hour. Tip: Parking is not subject to a charge in the entire village (as of July 2019). You can park in free areas about 5 minutes away. Host Very likeable and helpful host. Contact at any time and quickly. Conclusion The apartment has a perfect location. The place offers everything you need for a successful holiday. The beach is wonderful.

Manolis's apartment was conveniently located near to the attractions in the area, meaning it wasn't ever necessary to walk that far, ideal in the heat. Also close by where all the shops you could need. The apartment was clean and had all the equipment necessary for a comfortable stay - there were also parasols to take to the beach which we thought were a lovely added touch. We'd very much recommend a stay in this apartment.

Thank you very much for meeting you in person! It is very important and pleasant. You were very attentive and showed a lot of care for your guests. It's nice to have a vacation and you don't need to take care of the little things. Manolis will do this for you. We had a large set of towels, everything you need in the house, hooks in the shower room, a shelf for shampoo, washing powder, we were surprised when we found an umbrella for the beach! This is really amazing attention on your part! Special thanks for the wide range of games for children! My daughter was delighted! In your home, everything is thought out. Thank! You made our holiday carefree. These are the best a apartment in which we lived.

The apartment is really very well located a few minutes from the old town and all amenities nearby (Supermarket opposite, pharmacy 2 min away...) . It's efficient and the bathroom is new but low ceilings. It is well equipped (Xbox, washing machine, umbrellas...) On the other hand, those who want calm, it's better to abstain! An "All day café" in front of the apartment and the road is really busy. The windows are single glazed...you really hear everything. and it makes you want to enjoy the balcony.

Manolis was a great host and responded very quickly , the apartment was airy and spacious, good location 5 mins to old town , 11 mins to the beach , supermarket across the road and loads of coffee shops around , manolis kept checking we were ok through our 2 week stay . Like other people have mentioned the noise from the road is quite loud .

Manolis was a great host. He met us in person and gave us great tips on good places for food. Apartment was clean and tidy and as described. The location was great - it was a short walk to the old town and easy access to out of town for exploring around Crete. There were cafes, supermarket, fruit all within two minutes walk which was really convenient.

Manolis always responded very quickly to our messages. Although we arrived very late he was there to check us in an even give us some advice for good restaurants. The place had everything we needed. There was even a sandwich toaster so we could bring out grilled cheeses sandwiches to the beach. My family rested 7 days in the end of June. We liked it very much because there is everything what you need in the apartament. Rooms are clean and light. Wi-fi works fast. The apartament has very good location. There is everything near: cafe, supermarket, beach. The historical part of the town is near. Of you have some problems or question, you can always write to Manolis and he answer very fast. We are really grateful to Manolis for everything what he's done for our family. We recommend the apartament.

Great stay at Manolis' place. The apartment is very well equipped, close to the center, beach and Ktel bus station (10 min walk) in a pleasant and lively area. Supermarket across the street, cafe across the street, bakery two minutes away. Maybe it looks a little noisy because of the road which passes in front but it did not bother us frankly. But, above all, it's important to highlight the hospitality of Manolis, which is impeccable. He did everything to make our trip go smoothly, with his advice, help and kindness. So I would highly recommend her apartment!

The space was perfect for our stay. It’s close to local shops, restaurants, and the northern beach (there is a huge difference between the northern and southern beach). The updated washer was convenient for us as well, as we are on a 3 month long backpacking trip. Manolis was very kind to us upon checking in, and would regularly make sure we had everything we needed. Word to Manolis.

Due to a mix-up with our hire car at Heraklion port (entirely my fault) we arrived at Manoli’s place 2 hours late, at 10:30 PM. This just wasn’t a problem for Manolis who patiently waited for us and kept in touch as we were on our way. Throughout our stay it was like this - Manolis is a very thorough and attentive host, and that makes all the difference. The apartment itself is very clean, spacious and in a great position. There is a good supermarket across the road and it’s a short walk to the old town and port. A great base for exploring this part of Crete.

The appartment is REALLY well located. Near everything you need. Bus stations, supermarket, main beach and activities, the village and all shops and restaurants. It is also clean with everything you need for cooking and relax. Manolis is a great host always responding with good advices and cares a lot about your wellness. We really enjoyed our stay at his place as our vacation in rethymnon.

Clean, charming and spacious apartment. Matches photos perfectly! 10 minutes' walk from the bus station, 5 minutes from the sea and the old city. Manolis welcomed us very warmly and took care of us, almost a hotel! The renovated apartment is a real plus, everything is new. The 2 balconies are a pleasure! Nice and lovely!

We staied for a week in Manolis place during August 2017. Manolis is very helpful and kind, answering quickly all our requests. The apartment is exactly as is presented on the photos and very clean. The location is really good; less than ten minutes on foot from the city center. We recommend it and if we visit Réthimnon again we will stay there!!!

Had the most perfect week in beautiful Rethymno, which was greatly enhanced by Manolis' fabulous apartment. Manolis was supremely helpful and responded immediately to every query I had. The apartment itself is in pristine condition. Spacious, welcoming and literally had every mod con I needed (and quite a few I didn't!) The location was superb, within walking distance to the beautiful beaches, the historic Old Town and right beside the bus station too! All in all, it really was a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend Manolis and his property highly enough😊😊💕

We have stayed at this apartment for 11 days from at the beginning of June 2017. The apartment is big and clean, ideal for 2 persons (there is a separate bedroom and a sofa in the living room, there are towels, hairdryer and all you need for comfort staying). There are bars near it where you can have a great breakfast for 5-6 euro and a supermarket, the shops at the center are close to it. Manolis is very friendly and is ready to help. Many thanks to him. We will definitely recommend this apartment.

This apartment was brilliant. Manolis was there to meet us when we arrived and touched base during our stay to check everything was ok. The place was spotless with plenty of clean towels, a well equipped kitchen and there's is a great cafe and good supermarket directly across the road. 10 minutes walk from the bus stop and 5 minutes from the Venetian port and the beach - fantastic location. I highly recommend this apartment.
