Comfy bed, clean carven. felt fresh, but way overpriced compared to what we had enjoyed at Eden for the few nights previous (where $50 more got a complete three room cottage in the forest with well appointed kitchen). Of the two camping burners provided there was one empty gas cannister and no spares to be found, so much for boiling the kettle or cooking breakfast. shower was great until the hot water ran out, and the person before my partner had his dog in the shower with him (I'm not kidding). the daisy field in the photo was just bare dirt with a tractor.

Had an amazing time, was quiet and peaceful. The hostess was very polite and welcoming. Definitely would recommend this place if you're looking to escape society and be with nature.

The house is specially remodeled by a caravan, small but sophisticated and fully equipped, most of all in the ranch, nice and serene surroundings are an advantage

Great location and beautiful natural surroundings. Not ideal if it's raining which it was pouring so access down slippery path not great. No host on site. Shared amenities block a challenge in the rain.

A stunning little caravan set amongst the paper dasies and looking out across paddocks and up to Mother Mountain Gulaga. We were warmly welcomed by Kathryn and felt at home, tucked away in the caravan. Kathryn has paid attention to many small details to make the stay comfortable and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

I honestly cannot thank Kathryn enough for our stay. Having had a rough few weeks personally, Kathryn was so flexible with our dates of stay, and the property and surrounds did not disappoint. The area and property are absolutely beautiful, we felt totally in the middle of nowhere with the most beautiful outlook, and the Love Shack itself was so perfect and cute. The perfect cure for what we needed. The pub in Tilba was also awesome, the owners so welcoming and food delicious (we got takeaway and had it outside the love shack in front of the fire). Thank you Kathryn for a wonderful stay and your flexibility. Please send me your details for the firewood as well ♥️♥️

I feel the farm stay needed a bit more ‘polish’. I don’t feel the price reflects the experience. We had a ant infestation fall out of the roof onto our son’s bed. When stripping the bed, we found a white tip spider. The lack of curtains covering windows (there are minimal to none), privacy wasn’t great. We were woken at first daylight, which usually wouldn’t be an issue, except for the continuous dog barking until 3am - so unfortunately we didn’t get a lot sleep. It was however a comfortable bed, and the amenities block (while a 30m distance from the caravan), was a really lovely space. The concept of what this van is, is a really great idea & has a lot of potential. However, it just didn’t meet the mark for us, which is unfortunate as we are pretty open minded and laid back people.

I loved it, very welcoming host, lots of amenities, on walking path that you can spend some time on. If you’re arriving very late at night (after 10 pm), try to get photos of the place since it might not be very easy to follow the instructions especially if your English isn’t perfect.

Lovely view and caravan however no phone service in caravan and the wifi only reaches the amenities- 20m from the caravan. Only half the windows have curtains and you cannot lock the door behind you when you go out, only when you are locking yourself inside. A very nice place but just missing certain details of comfort to be worth the price.

Very cute refurbished caravan. So gorgeous to sit and look across the hills and be visited by the cows. Very close to walk to the shower and toilet which are also clean and modern. Felt quite spacious inside and we and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had such a lovely time staying here. We felt very well looked after, and the place itself was so gorgeous, exactly what we were hoping for. We cooked our own dinner on the bbq provided, chatted to the cows in the field beside us, and sat around the fire with logs delivered by Kathryn’s very charming kids. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us.

Lovely place to stay and perfect for winding down and a relaxing escape. Location is great and the views are exceptional. Just be aware that there isn't actually any WiFi in the shed itself. The common facilities shared bathroom is also located across the driveway from the shed so make sure you shower before dark! I would also recommend not opening any windows or turning on any lights (except the mood LED lighting in faint red or yellow) during night time as you will attract a lot of unwanted bugs from the farm. Otherwise the shed was exceptionally clean and tidy. The host's communication was great and the stay was otherwise pleasant. Thanks again Kathryn!

We stayed in "The Love Shack," and talk about neat! Kathryn really did something pretty unique and special to a old caravan, and with the covered verandah, big BBQ, and great fireplace, we were stuck in time. The cows come right up to the back window, and stare at you with total curiosity, way to funny 😅. You walk to the French cafe for a coffee and other treats, walk the mountain side paths, or drive to the mountain view country winery-brewery for a home made pork and fenel sausage dog, or visit central Tilba pub, (that has no pokies 👏 .) Be sure to eat there too, the food is fabulous. We loved our stay and have decided to go back every year. 💚🌸💚

A quiet serene place. Close to tilba, w all modern necessities. Comfortable hot n high pressure shower water.
