The glamping experience at Mountainview Farm was divine. Waking up to a misty morning with the sounds of morning birds, cows and horses was just what I needed. The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent, with a delightful mix of modern convenience and old dairy charm. I'm already thinking about my next getaway here.

The surroundings here were so beautiful. However, the floor carpet and bedding were messy, and there was no electricity, so the interior was dark until the solar light bulb was turned on, and the cell phone charging was only available in the common area, and I had to light a fire with a matchstick at the beginning of others, and the mouse roamed up during the shower. The wifi is disconnected. I think it's expensive compared to inadequate facilities. All the communal items are messy, so I don't think anyone will use it.

Cool spot, there are a few other tents/campers around so there amenities are shared but it's a huge space and would be great to get a group of friends there. We went to dinner at Sweetwater in Tilba - very close and so fun. Would stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing time in Tilba Tilba! The views were surreal, and we loved the experience of the tent, all the decorations and romantic feel of it. Surprisingly, the shower was awesome and I really appreciated how modern and clean everything was despite them being shared with other guests at different accommodations. Seriously one of the best showers of my life! This was a magical experience for such a short stay, and the tent we booked felt private and secluded from the rest of Kathryn’s property. Awesome place! Beautiful mountains around. Farm with geese and funny-looking chicken and a couple of horses - very good for children. Cozy tents and space around. Cozy public bbq /kitchen space. Shower. Nearby a walking trek to the mountain top (3 hours walk) for trekkers. Very peaceful, good for escaping the city. Woolies 15 min drive. Winery/ party bar/restaurant with concerts on weekends 10 min drive. 5 star place. Recommend to families with children and/or couples seeking quiet romantic stays.

Incredible location surrounded by green rolling hills. So beautiful! A creek nearby, which we discovered on our walk, added to the tranquil experience. This place is a step up from regular camping! The private tent is a short stroll to the amenities and communal area. This place is wonderful for people who want to dip their toes in a camping experience with a bit more comfort, or for those who are camping and want a comfortable break. Kathryn is an excellent communicator. If you're curious about camping or semi-glamping, this is the place for you!

The mountain view is amazing! The tent, campfire, views, hospitality from Kathryn & the local community is worth the stay & returning! There are a couple local and friendly establishments close to the stay giving a welcomed experience. The stay was amazing and recommend the Mount Gulaga hiking trail and local beaches.

Looked more ritzy in the photos than was to be, however it is a great location, very peaceful and beautiful backdrop of mount Gulaga. If you like sleeping In, the roosters on the farm and surrounding properties may have different plans for you. Which is to be expected in a rural area. Some firewood to use in the drum would have been nice. Overall it is a nice place to stay and escape, however might be slightly overpriced for a tent in my opinion.

So magical waking up to cows and whip birds- so quiet! the amenities were quirky and cute, and the scenery and farm itself was breathtaking! Loved the gardens, veggie patches and chickens- such a beautiful escape.

Photos don't do this little slice of heaven justice! One of the prettiest places I've ever stayed. Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, access to everythung you need if you're glamping like warm showers, clean amenities, coffee and tea and hot water bottles and blankets. We sat by the fire at night and looked out at stunning views. Our little one loved all the animals and the gorgeous gardens to run around in. So close to Tilba Central and a short drive to Narooma and Bermagui. Kathryn and her kids were so lovely and helpful and so nice to talk with. Already booking another trip back. Thanks Kathryn ❤️❤️

What a beautiful stay!! upon arriving at the farm your breath is completely taken away by its beautiful view/location, the rolling paddocks to the mountain tops of Gulaga, The Mother Mountain, Then you find your little tent that you call home for the stay, nestled away in the beautiful garden hedges. even in the crisp oh winter our stay was nothing but amazing, and surprisingly not chilly at all! we will definitely be back! we have fallen on lobe the Tilba Tilba!

Our stay at Mountain View Farm in a glamping tent was great. The views around the farm and the grounds are beautiful. The tent was spacious and very comfortable and held up to some very wet weather. Unfortunately due to the weather, we weren’t able to make use of the outside hang out spots.

Such a beautiful place with lots of lovely details like flowers, coffee, toiletries, water, fairylights and candles. The farm is stunning - amazing views and a really relaxing atmosphere. Kathryn and her lovely family went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They helped us get the car unstuck, and even let us give the horses some carrots and a brushing. Kathryn’s kids are so friendly and gave our little pup lots of cuddles and attention. We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay in the Gulaga tent- the manicured garden setting is lovely and the tent itself very spacious and comfortable. Be aware the tent is right next to another tent and, although not visible, you will be able to hear any music/chatter from that site. Being close to some other properties in Tilba Tilba there were also moments were it got a little bit urban, with road noise, lawn mowers and leaf blowers busy keeping the surrounding landscape in check. If you want more seclusion, it looks like the third tent, Minga, would be a better option. It is set right at the back of the property by itself and would likely have the best view of all the available accommodation. We bought our own camp kitchen and firewood so were ready to go with the fire pit and dinner as soon as we arrived. I'm glad we did because the communal kitchen space in the Old Dairy was a bit hard to navigate and had a neglected feel about it compared to the high standard of the tent and gardens. The shared toilet and bathroom were both modern and stylish and a definite step up from your usual campsite facilities. Unfortunately were not cleaned for the duration of our two night stay, somewhat diminishing their otherwise 'glam' appeal.

Great outdoor spaces, with ducks, chickens, cows, antique furniture!!! The list goes on! the shower facilities are fabulous as is the kitchen etc. The big grill with a view to Mt Gulaga is tremendous and the walking trail is very enjoyable. Great spot for a solo traveller or group of friends. The gardens are so lovely I can't wait for Winter to stay in the love van surrounded by daisies!!

I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a getaway with a quiet and cosy feel on the South Coast. What a gorgeous place to stay! Kathryn was the perfect host. Our tent was ready on arrival with everything we needed to spend the night relaxing by the fire eating cheese and drinking wine. The bathroom and amenities were great, shower pressure was perfect! Stella delivered wood to our site and was the perfect mini host! Great service and lovely conversation at the fire pit. We would love to return again and spend some more time here in this location. A Beautiful place to wake up to and enjoy the day.

Beautiful views and cute interior design. Ceiling of glamp did look a little dirty/stains but that was probably due to rain. The solar fueled fairy lights could not be switched off even when we clicked the switch off button on the back of the panel. But that’s a minor issue. Otherwise, stunning property, cute farm animals and clean communal bathroom area. Thank you!

But overpriced for the glamping, quite a lot of mould (unavoidable I imagine), not the comfiest bed, and missing some thoughtful touches that could add to the experience. Overall we had a good stay, and did enjoy the location.

What a terrific find. Kathryn’s farm is idyllic and the tents are kitted out so nicely, and all nestled in their own private, sheltered garden space. The night sky was breathtaking, and we had fun watching the chickens and ducks and playing with the farm dog. We will be back.

I have stayed at many Airbnb places but Kathryn’s farm was by far my favourite. The energy of the land is one of very high and sacred vibration. If you are looking for a place to recharge, nourish yourself and fall in love with nature’s wonders all over again this is your place. Kathryn’s very delightful 8 year old son showed me how to let the chickens and ducks out in the morning whilst teaching me aboriginal words. This was a great highlight. Thank you Marcus! The tents are clean, spacious and decorated with thoughtful touches. I loved the heart shaped champagne flutes :) <3 and the bed is VERY comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for your help with what to do in the area such as the wonderful hike up the mountain. We will be back very soon 🌸 Until then, Love and Light Tove and Tom

Mountain View is a lovely place to use as a base to see all the area has to offer. The tent we stayed in is very much more than your average tent.. cosy and spacious with lots of lovely touches. It’s a bonus that pets are allowed to stay too. Bathroom and kitchen is close by and is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the crowds and busy lifestyle for a few days. 👍

first the good: the tent is really cute. very spacious. the bedding and look is great. Tilba is extraordinarily lovely, although it's a short drive to Central Tilba where the majority of the shops and cafes are. the bad: its waaaaay too expensive. Kathryn charges an extraordinary price for a tent with no power, that is a 5min walk to toilets and showers, and is literally just in someone's front yard. there's no ambience, it feels like you are in a front garden and the second tent is just 10m away. We were also charged an extra $25 for firewood to use the firepit. It was terrible quality wood, way too green, so was barely enough for a couple of hours of a smokey fire. The $65 cleaning fee is also outrageous. its a tent! I've stayed in 3 and 4 bed house airbnbs that charge less or no cleaning fee. there were also absolutely no personal touches. No good local recommendations (except a Cafe that was closed), there was a tiny bottle of water each, the breakfast element of BnB also totally lost, absolutely nothing available. Overall it would have been a fun adventure, but was sullied by the cost being too high and the owner putting in so little effort. it's also not Glamping. it's just nice camping. there is no power in the tent, so forget chargingyour phone or your portable speaker.

Glamping at Mountain View Farm is a beautiful experience. Surrounded by amazing views, wonderfully friendly farm animals and incredibly beautiful private gardens. We had a fabulous time cooking on the open fire under the incredible night sky in the evening. Although a short walk from our tent, the bathroom and shower area is styled beautifully in a rustic chic manner that suites the farm and glamping experience to a tee. We can’t wait to come back soon and hopefully the walking track up Mount Dromedary will be open as I can only imagine how stunning the views will be up there!

It was lovely to stay at Tilba Tilba after having travelled through a few times. The tents were comfortable and well spaced so we couldn’t hear any of the other guests - we got to experience a spectacular deluge but the tents fortunately stayed dry. A great base to explore the local area - definitely make sure you get to the pub. Best kangaroo I have ever had!

Not quite what we expected. There's more than 1 tent, which could mean you have people camping a few meters away. We had to ask for the guitar playing to be turned down, after hearing it for 3 hours!! Which we assume was the reason someone made their car alarm go off dozens of times between 12-5am. There were extremely high winds which made it very loud and uncomfortable. If you do stay here. Take water, ice and firewood. We took water and ice, but didn't think to take firewood, considering the location. We ask for half of our money back due to the guitar and car alarm, which Kathryn was happy to refund.

The booking cost $250 which I have no issue but second day Airbnb shows the same tent cost $130 make me feel sick to book it early and feel being robbed for the value regards to the price change. If any sign can put up next to the tent would be much easier to save time not get lost in the mountain with no reception can be frustrating while heavily raining. Too moist inside the tent and contracted eczema over night on my arms also wake up with snail next to the bed.

An excellent glamping accommodation with clean and well maintained bathroom facilities. It was a delight to sleep under the stars and wake up to the sounds of birds - very tranquil. Thank you for the thoughtful touches with water bottles in our tent, scented candles and sustainable toilet paper (who gives a crap brand). I really wish we could have stayed longer...highly recommend this pet friendly tent to anyone who is looking for short delightful stay in the quaint Tilba Tilba.

The location is stunning, a real shame considering that we woke up in the middle of the night to a huge spider in our bed, and spent the night in our car! I tried to contact the host, but understandably she didn't reply. In the morning the host talked to us and was so sorry about what happened that offered us to come back in one of the cottages as a complimentary treat, seen the horrible experience we had. We accepted the offer and she said, she would have messaged me back to give me the details of her offer but she just vanished. I tried to politely contact her in the airbnb chat and on her mobile but she never got back to me! Why would you say you're terribly sorry for the bad experience your guests had and offer them another stay for free and then disappear?! This was our anniversary night and it was completely ruined! I feel fouled by the way Kathryn dealt with the whole situation.

We really loved our ‘Gulaga’ tent experience on NYE. While there are several tents on the property and some cottages, you still felt you had privacy with the hedges around the ‘Gulaga’ tent giving you that secluded feeling. The tent is stylishly furnished giving you that glamping experience and you don’t mind the short walk to the bathroom when you have the magestic Mount Gulaga and the beautiful countryside to marvel at. A little bit of road noise through the valley at times but never enough to take away from the experience that is ‘Gulaga’.

Kathryn has created the most gorgeous glamping experience set in the foothills of Mt Dromedary. The inside of the tent was stunning and it withstood the huge storm that passed over. The candles and torches were a useful addition too. The bathroom is a bit of a walk away but that wasn't a problem for us. The bbq was also great to have as it allowed us to prepare dinner ourselves. One thing we also loved was that the tents are very spaced out so you get a lot of privacy. I think my only criticism would be that for the price per night, it would be nice to have some snacks or coffee included as part of the tent. Nothing fancy - even if it was just a packet of Tim Tams. Thanks again for a gorgeous stay!

Kathryn’s place is incredible, the beautiful garden has amazing detail and the wonderful Stella gave us the grand tour. It was extremely relaxing and very homely, we will definitely be back.

Kathryn was a great host very attentive and welcoming, we had an awesome three nights stay. Had a full tour of the farm by Marcus and Stella, who were also great hosts very pleasant to hang out with :) Pictures surely do not so justice. If anyone is looking for a glamping experience definitely try the mountain view farm out.

Wonderful place to stay, clean comfortable and very tranquil! We had light showers in the early morning but it definitely didn’t dampen our stay. Stunning location and great value for cost! Perfect romantic getaway!

Lovely little spot for a get away, the tent was warm and cosy and the property was gorgeous. The amenities, though a short walk away were excellent and the tent itself was very stylish and was such a fun and different experience. Kathryn is a very lovely and helpful host.

One of the best places I’ve stayed by far. Such an unreal experience unlike anything and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Bring some extra cash and ask Stella about her selling succulents to foster kids schooling in Cambodia. You won’t be disappointed!

This listing is a very unique Airbnb experience - glamping but with complete and clean bathroom amenities. It was lovely to enjoy the campfire among the stars, away from the busy city. A lot of well thought out details such as hot water bottles, large esky in the tent and torches on hand.

Words can’t express how wonderful this place is! Kathryn and her family are so sweet and kind hearted! The farm is beautiful and so peaceful and the tent is so lovely and cute!!! Could not recommend any more for a perfect peaceful getaway! Kathryn also told us this amazing beach to go to with our dog which was just beautiful! We did not want to leave!!!! Will be back again for sure :)

Stayed in the little studio. Was beautiful!! Even though it was pouring with rain, the mountain views were beautiful! Kathryn was able to accomodate for our two dogs also, which was very helpful! Highly recommend and I hope to one day come back!

This review reflects my assessment of the tent being extremely overpriced. So, if it were available for say $90, I would say it was a comfortable, clean, and located in a beautiful spot, notwithstanding the fact that we felt we were camping in somebody's backyard. However, at double the money, and selling itself as a glamping experience, it fell far short of my expectations. There is no electricity - not too big a problem, no wifi in the tent, and poor phone reception. There were two flute-like glasses on a stand at the foot of the bed, but not a bottle of water to be had. There is an empty esky, which they will (for a price) fill with ice, plus the amenities are an awkward 100 or so metres down the road (not ideal for late-night trips to the bathroom). I might add that food hampers were offered (for a price) along with the instructions on how to get there. So.. make sure to bring your own torch, bring your own water, as well as a pair of slip-on shoes for the trips to the bathroom.

Tent and garden is maintained and cleaned well. Waking up with the farm scenery was an absolute bliss. We brought our pup with us and he had a great time. There is a friendly resident dog and a few chickens on the property. Activity wise there is a national park walking track, cafe and nursery nearby. Only downside is it gets very cold at night and there is no heating.

We had a great time glamping at Kath’s beautiful farm. Her kids were lovely and we had fun kicking the footy with them. Tilba is a really cute town, we had a nice meal at the local pub. The tent was great and we had everything we needed. The scenery is really beautiful and we had a lovely cheese and wine basket to enjoy st sunset. Thanks for the great stay!

Do yourself a favour and book this amazing place - one to not be missed. The serenity, calmness, quietness (albeit a few cows in the night!) were just what we needed for a city getaway. Coupled with an amazing amenities space & the tent itself was just magical. If you’re heading there soon, our suggestion is to rearrange the blankets to make sure you’ll be warm enough as we definitely felt the cold the first night. Hot water bottles were a lifesaver but layer up. Don’t underestimate Gulaga National Park trek that is just up the road, this 5 hour mighty hike isn’t for the faint hearted. But beers by your own private fire after are magical and so was looking up at the stars after a long day of enjoying the serenity of Tilba Tilba. Kathryn was a great host - kept to herself and we did our own thing, which as introverts we love. Thanks for your casual and relaxed hospitality & know if we needed something we would feel comfortable to ask. Do not skip this gorg place.

A great place to stay in the far South Coast! Cozy and cute tent to stay in, with plenty of blankets to stay warm. The farm is breathtaking, especially in the glow of morning light. Kathryn was a lovely host who you can tell enjoyed talking and meeting new people and made us feel right at home! :)

A beautiful property with acres of views and a walk just down the road with ocean views over the hills. “Glamping” in a beautiful area and a lovely, welcoming host and family. Your own private fire pit and plenty of blankets and candles makes it cosy. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The glamping tent was so much fun for a little romantic getaway - we were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the firepit in the grass area with a clear sky full of stars. The shower and toilet were great - really stylish and clean, although if it had been raining the short walk around to them might not have been so fun! The rolling green hills around made us feel like we were in paradise and u would highly recommend !!

Wonderful experience!! Set in a hilltop farm in a cute town called Tilba Tilba. The highlight of the stay was ofcourse experiencing glamping! All amentities and bed was clean and comfortable. The best part was that you got the milkyway to view with a firepit you can light yourself! Narooma is not far for buying local seafood. I will be back for sure!

The glamping experience is unique, the tent is very cozy and the bed is very comfortable. There was a lot of privacy in the space and you wake up to a beautiful view of the hills and fields. The shower and toilet is a little distance from the tent but worth the amazing, clean amenities. Kathryn's was a lovely host and provided us with firewood to enjoy the fire pit outside. I highly recommend staying here!

What a lovely unique experience! My friend and I stayed here to escape the city and found it delightful. Kathryn made us welcome and provided some homely touches to our night in the tent. We unfortunately had to leave a night early and Kathryn was very understanding about this. We would definately stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time at the Tent House. It's a unique way to holiday and an experience worth ticking off. Mountain View Farm is beautiful, like something out of a storybook. The tent itself was cosy, well styled and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We experienced rain, sun and wind in three days, but the tent remained dry and sturdy throughout, while the bathroom and shower facilities were clean and newly renovated. It's the perfect romantic escape.

Kathryn has set up a lovely area in a beautiful setting - on top of the beautiful natural landscape, Kathryn's flower gardens are divine! The tent was large and the bed was comfortable, and the chairs and tables both inside and outside the tent were great additions. The styling inside the tent we very cute. The common shed area is also very nice, however a little further from the tent that I had expected, which is only a problem during the night if you need to use the bathroom (it's about a 50m). The tent is surrounded by a lovely hedge, so it is very private and you feel quite secluded.
