This was by far the worst Airbnb experience we’ve had. We booked three nights but left early because the property’s condition made our stay so uncomfortable. The house was poorly maintained,wallpaper half open in many walls with broken floorboards, stiff doors, broken chairs, and an unstable bunk bed with missing screws. There was also a strong unpleasant smell throughout the property. The house is spread over five floors with many stairs, making it unsuitable for young children, elderly guests, anyone with mobility issues, or those carrying heavy luggage. This should be made much clearer in the listing. The only positive was the location. We chose this Airbnb because of its ratings, but they did not reflect our experiencei believe they are fake review.We would not stay here again or recommend it.

Smell of dampness, no electric power in lounge, Toilet system making constant noise, wall paper hanging off the wall, stained carpets and very dirty. We didn’t even stay for one night let alone the four nights as we paid for. Absolutely disgusting

This home is probably best for short term rentals. We were there for 10 days and the repeated trips from kitchen on ground floor to sun drenched deck for communal seating and morning coffee on the 3rd floor grew tiring. Richard was in touch prior to our arrival with a known issue he hoped, with our help, to correct by finding a time we would be on site, we tried with repeated conversations to coordinate but our vacation schedule was busy with family events. Home is very central to shops, restaurants and nightlife. Easy to get to the beach, Brighton Pier and The Lanes.

Location wise this property is perfect, within walking distance of everything however, the host informed us there was free park on the street outside the property overnight and that we could pay during the day, this was not the case at all and after further communication they actually knew little to nothing about the parking. The property was extremely clean (which I would expect considering we have to wait longer then the given check in time as the cleaners were still present) but, the wallpapers were peeling in various places, a shelf in one of the bedrooms was extremely loose, the kitchen has big holes in the floor simply covered up by vinyl and the living room lights did not work, when informed of this the host expected us to put our holiday on hold to wait for an engineer. The property is clearly not checked regularly by the owners/host as they had no clue of repairs.

It was a lovely stay, and the location was perfect, as we were near the beach, so there were many activities we could do. There were also lots of restaurants to choose from but if you prefer to cook, there are also many shops to choose from. We drove two cars to this location and just like with any tourist area, parking is not the best especially on bank holiday weekends, although there are some paid parking close by. The stay was very decent but I would say the only downfall is that the listing mentioned 2 bathrooms but it was more of a 1 and a half bathroom. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this house for the next guests as it is the perfect location and it’s next to the beach.

The kitchen had a really bad smell. We had to leave the extractor fan on permanently to help get rid of it. The lounge lights did not work. My bedroom curtain didn’t cover the whole window. Not great for privacy. Not somewhere I would choose to stay again.

Location is absolutely amazing, just steps from the water. Bed's were comfortable and everything worked well. Host replied to questions quickly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful seaside home. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is simply perfect — not far from the sea made for stunning views and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with everything we could possibly need. It felt both comfortable and luxurious, making it easy to unwind and truly enjoy our time away. Every detail had clearly been considered, which made the experience even more special. The host was fantastic — friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great stay. Communication was smooth and helpful from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. We would absolutely love to come back again!
