BACK-UP POWER

This house does not currently get affected by the loadshedding schedule.

In the event of power failure, rechargeable lamps are available in the bedrooms and a gas hob for cooking and borehole water and Jojo water tanks.

In the event of a power failure the housekeeper will switch on the generator and this powers all lights, Wifi, TV's in the house. Please note that non-essential items like aircon, kettle, fridges and heat pump for geysers do not work on the generator

SECURITY

The house benefits from security plantation shutters throughout

External security cameras cover the perimeter of the house

The house offers high security with internal and external zoned beams, a perimeter non-climbing fence & IPSS 24/7 reaction team. The gate to the beach is a motorised gate that rolls to the side during the day, opening the house and deck to the beach

Bedroom One (ground level): Kids bunk room with 2 x double bunks, air-con, access onto the back courtyard, open shelving and en-suite bathroom with separate loo, shower & double basin

Bedroom Two (upstairs): Kids bunk room with 4 x double bunks, air-con, access onto the back deck, Built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom with separate loo, shower & double basin

Bedroom Three (upstairs): This is a small adults room with a king-size bed, sea views, air-con, freestanding wardrobes and use of the family bathroom next door with loo, shower, bath & double basin

Bedroom Four (upstairs): Adults room with king-size bed, sea views, air-con, TV, sliding doors out front deck, built-in wardrobes with open hanging & shelving and en-suite bathroom with separate loo, shower & basin

Bedroom Five (upstairs): Adults room with king-size bed, sea views, air-con, sliding doors out front deck, freestanding wardrobes and en-suite bathroom with separate loo, shower & basin

Other things to note

Please note that there is a cap of 8 adults per booking. No adults are permitted to sleep on bunk beds, these are for children only

Please note that all adult group bookings are generally not approved due to Homeowners preferring family bookings with children

HOUSEKEEPING
Rental includes two live-in staff members 7 days a week.
Weekly garden maintenance

2 Loads of laundry are included per day - under listing basics - other details to note.

The following will be supplied and is included in your rental to ensure your arrival is comfortable: Toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, rubbish bags and basic cleaning equipment will be supplied during your stay, however, we do ask that guests supply their own washing powder and fabric softener for personal items.
