THE SPACE: A sleek, design-led one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Fitzrovia — 40 sqm / 431 sqft of warm walnut floors, bold red accents, and considered modern interiors. Ground floor of the building with a few internal steps up to the bedroom (split-level layout); no lift.

LIVING AREA: A bright, open-plan living and dining space anchored by an iconic red ball chair, a white leather sofa bed, and a sculptural arc floor lamp. Wall-mounted Smart TV, a round walnut dining table with designer Tulip chairs for four, and a striking London feature print. Equally good for a working morning or unwinding after a day in the West End.

2nd night (of 5 booked) at 4am I am woken up by a cockroach at my feet. This ruined the bed experience for me. I packed and checked in elsewhere. I called the host (Sat) morning, didn't ask for $ or anything, Their email: `Thank you for letting us know, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. As it’s the weekend, we’ll review this with our team first thing on Monday morning. In the meantime, could you please send us a clear photo or short video of the cockroach (and, if possible, the area where you spotted it)? This will help us assess the situation and confirm the next steps.` I found this unhelpful. `Your check-out steps are in your email/booking app. We hope to welcome you back soon.` `I moved out to an hotel on Friday night/Saturday morning at 5am as I found a cockroach eating my feet in the bed. As I told your colleague` We are sorry to hear that you already moved from the apartment. And no photo or video that you were able to take. Let us know if you have any questions.`

The apartment itself was generally fine and the team was polite, however communication became problematic once an issue arose during the stay. The fridge stopped working, which caused inconvenience and disruption to our plans. Although the issue was eventually addressed, responses became significantly slower after the problem was reported, and the initially agreed maintenance time window was missed. Coordination regarding access to the apartment and repair timing was also unclear and stressful while travelling as a tourist. I appreciate that the team ultimately attended and resolved the issue, but the handling of the situation could have been more organised and responsive.

Ground floor apartment in an older building, but an amazing location that was super walkable. The square and neighborhood were quiet and peaceful--nice to be close to but away from the craziness of soho. Endless shops and restaurants within a 20 minute walk.

Beautiful ground-level flat with high ceilings very convenient to Warren St underground station. Unique furnishings provided a fun atmosphere. And I appreciated the full-size tub when footsore from a great deal of walking in London.
