The space

Gite du Couchant:

On the Valensole plateau, in the heart of the country of Haute-Provence and the lavender fields, in the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, we welcome you all year round in our 18th century bastide, listed in the general inventory of the monuments and artistic riches of France.

Surrounded by 120 ha of truffles, the Clos de la Tuilerie is located on the edge of the hamlet of Saint-Grégoire, on the old road of transhumance (draille) of the herds of Arles.

The calm, authenticity and the panoramic view stretching from Sainte-Baume to Dévoluy and the Luberon au Verdon characterize this unique place. You will have the opportunity to discover a corner of Provence often unknown to the exceptional climate: more than 300 days of sunshine per year and a sky known for its purity, paradise for amateur astronomers.

You can relax in the garden or by the pool, practice many sports activities (hikes, bike rides, horseback riding) or cultural activities in the immediate vicinity of the cottage.

Completely restored in 2012 and classified three ears by the Gîtes de France, the Gîte du Levant, with an area of 120m2, offers atypical volumes (vaulted room on the ground floor, high ceiling on the first floor).

It has exceptional views of the garden, and beyond, on the Plateau de Valensole and the Préalpes du Sud, from the Pic de Bure (91 km) to the Verdon.

Functional and very comfortable, it can accommodate four people and has a separate entrance, terrace and garden.

- Indoor equipment:
- Living-dining room arranged in the old fence with stove, TV (wall with exposed pebbles).
- Terrace accessible from the lounge, with garden table and chairs, for aperitifs or holiday meals

- Fully furnished kitchen area (electric oven, ceramic hobs, range hood, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine).
- Separate toilets
- Two bedrooms: the first with a bed of 160x200 cm, the second with 2 beds of 90x200 cm. All beds are fitted with duvets.
- A bathroom with a walk-in shower and retro sinks.

The cottage is rented with bedding and bath towels.

- Outdoor amenities:

In front of the cottage you will find a private garden, furniture (table, chairs, loungers, umbrella) and a barbecue.

- The family pool is at your disposal from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Open from mid-May until the end of September (depending on weather conditions).

- For your comfort, a parking lot is provided for our hosts' vehicles.

In order to make your stay more pleasant, if you are coming with children, we can provide you with a baby bed, a high chair.

Guest access

You will have access to the cottage, its terrace, its garden with 2 parking spaces.
