This is our second time staying at this lovely little cottage. Overall it is well appointed, clean, and tidy with some nice touches such as a selection of tea and coffee and a basket of children’s toys for a rainy day. Although it is close to the amenities and railway station (both an easy walk away) it is in a tranquil setting with a nice outdoor area. Overall this is a nice place for a weekend exploring the surrounding region. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The space is comfortable, although may be a little tight for 6 people as the living spaces only had seating for 3. Just a note, the property is actually shared with another owner so if you want to close the gate to make it fenced for your dogs, you need to speak to the quite unfriendly neighbour.

No Parties: Let’s keep it cosy, not crazy. Pets: Check the listing for pet rules. Fido needs a holiday too, but only if we said it’s okay. Upon Check-Out Dishes: Wash and put away. Pretend you’re at home and your mum is watching. Turn Off: All lights, heaters, and coolers. Help us save the planet. Pet Cleanup: Don’t leave us any surprises. Clean BBQ: If you used it, give it a scrub. We love a good BBQ, but not the cleanup. Trash: Put it in the correct bins outside. Channel your inner recycling guru. Linens: Don’t wash them. Seriously, we’ve got it covered. If these rules are broken, we may have to cancel your stay with no refund. We really don’t want to do that.
