Cute little place to stay. We enjoyed seeing the sheep and alpacas. It was a little cold and even though it's pretty private, we would've preferred the front window to be coverable. We had a roaring fire however it seems very energy inefficient to have such a large bare window and struggled to keep the room warm. The double shower situation is quirky, after showering in the claw bath, i now understand why the second shower was installed!!!! Felt like I'd flood the bathroom after 1 minute and all clothes got wet. Did love such a good selection of books. Also noticed the listing ad had written "Some breakfast goodies are also provided to get you started." Got in late friday night thinking we could skip the shops as presuming we had breakfast sorted; however kitchen was bear with the exception of longlife milks, but no cereal or anything. Perhaps don't advertise this if you are not going to provide. Leaves a bit of a let down feeling. Overall, pleasant enough stay. Thanks :)

No Fireworks: Because we don’t want your holiday to end with a bang (literally). No Illegal Activities: We’re not running a crime drama here. Keep It Down: Channel your inner ninja and keep noise levels reasonable. Guest Limit: Only the number of guests listed in the booking can stay overnight. No sneaky sleepovers. No Parties: Let’s keep it cosy, not crazy. Pets: Check the listing for pet rules. Fido needs a holiday too, but only if we said it’s okay. Upon Check-Out Dishes: Wash and put away. Pretend you’re at home and your mum is watching. Turn Off: All lights, heaters, and coolers. Help us save the planet. Pet Cleanup: Don’t leave us any surprises. Clean BBQ: If you used it, give it a scrub. We love a good BBQ, but not the cleanup. Trash: Put it in the correct bins outside. Channel your inner recycling guru. Linens: Don’t wash them. Seriously, we’ve got it covered. If these rules are broken, we may have to cancel your stay with no refund. We really don’t want to do that.
