This place was nice and private but there are few things that could be improved, netflix and youtube does not work on TV due to slow internet, cold water on bathroom sink did not work, which was inconvenient. Unable to open window, made house stuffy.

We had a nice stay overall, but there were a few things that took away from the experience, especially considering the $580 price tag. The TV is quite outdated, and both the WiFi and apps kept dropping out, so we had to use our own hotspot to stream anything smoothly. The gas stove required a lighter to ignite, which wasn’t provided, so we had to grab one ourselves. The cold water tap didn’t work in the bathroom, the washer was stuck shut but still leaking throughout the night. The heater remote also didn’t work, so it could only be turned on manually at the main switch. It’s a lovely space with potential, but a few maintenance updates would really help improve the overall stay. We loved it was pet friendly and we could bring our doggo.

The apartment was clean and tidy. Easy to access. Close to a walking area and small stream. Host responsive to queries. Safe area at the back for our small dog.

Despite my low rating I’ll start with the positives: Rachel, the Manager of this property was very proactive & responsive in text exchanges regarding the numerous issues encountered with appliances. Rachel also allowed a 1pm check in & arranged a 1-night refund due to the below negative aspects. - Despite the promise of a fully kitted out kitchen, the oven did not work, even after the owner apparently attended to fix it during stay. There were 2 dirty old grill trays in bottom of oven & otherwise no ovenproof dish or trays anyway. - The TV was not working. And despite Rachel organizing a TV repairer on 2nd day, the TV remained out of service for stay. - The single air conditioning unit in lounge room did not work. - Exposed live electrical wires beside door architrave within the bathroom posed a very dangerous risk. Shower base was mouldy & shower head faulty. - No water connected to washing machine. - $200 cleaning fee is excessive when not spotless MUCH better value elsewhere in B’R

The house was mostly clean think she needs a better cleaner for $210 for cleaning in amount paid . Mould in pans, utensils were filthy someone undies in washing machine, I red something on one of the lounges ,crumbs between cushions on lounge. No tv for first 24 hrs at all. After that still saying no antenna so all we could watch was Netflix was told had to program it we tried for 2.5 hrs STILL NOTHING. The yard could have been mowed, Clothes Cleaned full of webs needed to be cleaned. Front step are a major HAZARD just tiles sitting on top of each other not secure when step on them ( they move ). Other than that the house was really good.

A lovely cosy house for families with children. Great big backyard for those with pets. Beautiful walking trails a street away from the house with prime location to Main Street and family activities

Rachel was nothing but kind to us and ensured we had a pleasant getaway in Ballarat. The neighbourhood was great, very quiet and family friendly. We were close to central Ballarat as well which made travel easy. The house was described accurately and all amenities listed were provided (we had a slight mishap with some plumbing, however it was noted and Rachel made sure to rectify it quickly). If we decide to return to Ballarat in the future, Rachel is definitely the first we’re contacting!! :)

Cute little older style cottage - neat as a pin. Close to mountain bike area of ballarat which is great if you into those activities.

It's a nice, cosy house for a weekend getaway. It is very clean and spacious for a small group. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Rachel is a great host, very accommodating and easy to deal with.
