Highly recommend Billabong Eco cottage - it was so quaint and comfortable after a week straight of camping in the elements. It was very private and we especially loved sitting on the patio with a coffee in the morning watching the birds and our dog have a swim in the billabong. It has everything you need and the fire place was very warm. Linda was very hospitable and we were grateful to be able to use the laundry facilities and pick some fresh cherry tomatoes from the garden. Felt so refreshed after this stay - make sure to check out Bawley Point township and beach, we loved the rock pools.

Such a beautiful cottage! Loved sitting on the veranda in the evenings, listening to birds and watching the wallabees play in the distance. So even though it was a bit stormy during our stay, we felt calm and cozy in the cottage playing games and cooking. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful few days - very easy to find things to do and places to go nearby.

The place is located near the service centre that we can easily drive out for 2 min when we needed snacks in the middle of the night. It is nice and quiet though the Billabong cottage is near the 80km/hr road so we can hear cars speeding by at night. It is close by to dog friendly beach at Bawley points. It rained the whole time we were there so we can't do much hiking. But it was nice and peaceful to sit outside by the porch and enjoy the nature. My dog Yuki enjoyed laying outside to watch the birds and ducks. Yuki was also captivated by the skinks and wallabies. The place is clean and cozy. We bought tons of seafood and use the bbq provided. Kitchen is well stocked as well. Overall a very lovely place to stay and relax.

We really loved the cottage - beautiful billabong outlook. Comfortable couch, comfortable bed and comfortable chairs on the verandah. Beautiful timber floorboards and interior cladding, cathedral ceiling and tastefully decorated with nice timber retro furniture. Everything we needed for a thoroughly enjoyable mini-vacay! The fur baby was able to be conveniently contained on the fenced verandah. Short drive to the beautiful beaches of Bawley Point as well as the IGA and cafes. Picked some cherry tomatoes from the 'Garden of Feeden' and enjoyed them stewed on toast! A beautiful property with well- managed native areas and some superb mature deciduous trees. We intend to try the other cottages and decide which is our favorite! Privileged to stay there

We really appreciated the air conditioning during the hot weekend and the king bed was very comfortable with fresh, clean linen. We had a lovely relaxing 10 days over Christmas & New Year. Billabong is a sweet cosy, rustic cottage - great for summer (air con) and winter (lovely wood burner). Our 2 little dogs loved the holiday also. Linda & Len were great hosts, very friendly and responsive. (Thank you : ) We would recommend to anyone needing a tranquil getaway.

We had the best weekend getaway, celebrating our anniversary at Linda & Len’s beautiful cottage. It exceeded expectations - very clean, cosy, has everything you could need. Our dog loved it too (we could have him off leash when inside the cottage as the balcony / porch was fenced off). The property itself was beautiful - we some wallabies too! Linda was also very responsive and flexible, eg allowing for late check out and ensuring a light was left on as we were arriving late. She also sent us great local recommendations. Although the Bawley Point township is small with only a few shops, we loved it and it was all we needed - had a 10/10 lunch l at Merry St and loved the pies at Sandman bakery. We will definitely be back!!

Mimosa Eco Retreat is a rustic and cosy property perfect for couples. The place was quiet and the abundance of native animals on the property was mesmerising. We actually saw a Joey with her little one in her pouch, that was unforgettable. The hosts were accommodating and kind. We look forward to more trips down there in the future.

Linda's place was the perfect location for our Christmas and baby moon getaway. the Billabong was so peaceful to look out at while we used the bbq and played board games. The beaches were a short drive away. The bed was clean and comfy and the bathroom was clean. Would recommend to others who may be visiting the area. thanks for the great stay, Linda.

Linda’s place is absolutely beautiful. We loved our stay and had the most relaxing weekend exploring the area and reading on the balcony overlooking the pond. All amenities were great and the bed was super comfortable. Linda’s instructions on finding the place were super helpful and we loved her recommendations on things to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay at Linda’s and the beaches near by! The peacefulness of the stay does rely on guests in other cottages not getting too rowdy as some of the cottages are within 100m from eachother. Overall I recommend Linda’s, good value and nice comfortable bed :)

Loved the billabong cottage! Inside was very cosy with homely decor. Everything was completely stocked including all your kitchen utensils, foil, glad wrap, tea towels and paper towels. Plus a full sized fridge! We stayed for 4 nights and didn't leave once. There was plenty of firewood for inside and outside. The walk around the property was so lovely, we did it every day and spotted some wallabies too. Will be back in a heartbeat.

We booked for a weekend away from the city and the cottage and surroundings didn’t disappoint! The cottage was clean, cosy and just magical. We cooked both nights on the BBQ and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit by the water. The bed is really comfortable for a good nights sleep. Linda is an excellent host and very flexible with check out if she has no new guests arriving. We will definitely be back here, we had an amazing weekend

We loved our stay at Billabong Cottage. The location is beautiful and peaceful and felt really secluded from the other cabins. We really appreciated the sustainable ethos of the eco cabins. The cottage is made incredible cosy with a wood fireplace (with firewood provided), a very comfortable bed with lovely linen, and a kitchen that catered really well to our needs for cooking. ‘Quaint’ is the exact right word for Billabong Cottage (which is as pictured). Our stay felt private and secluded. A lot of thought and care has been put into the design of the Cottage and surrounding property. While other reviews mentioned the sound of the traffic, I didn’t find it to be a problem at all. The kitchenette has all the basics but might not be well-suited for elaborate meals. We had some difficulty with the strength of the hotplates on the electric cooktop (there is also gas side burner on the BBQ outside). Linda was a responsive, friendly and helpful host. I appreciated that we were able to arrange a later check out. As expected from a smaller locality, food options are limited but there are cafes a 15-30 minute drive away (although opening hours might differ during off-peak season). Recommend Billabong Cottage if you are looking for a sweet little getaway close to the South Coast beaches and are happy using your car to get around.

I couldn’t recommend the Billabong Cottage enough. We had a wonderful stay here with our pooch. Very clean, comfortable, cosy and lovey decor in the cottage. The veranda is picturesque especially on rainy days. Bed super comfortable with luxury linen. A highlight was the veggie garden on the property which guests can pick things for dinner. We brought our x2 large dogs and they absolutely loved it. Great location, made it very central for us to explore the NSW coastline and all its beaches.

Billabong Cottage was a lovely rustic cottage in peaceful surroundings. It had everything we needed and it was comfortable. The surrounding grounds were absolutely beautiful, with a lovely pond and abundant birdlife. The only negative was the traffic noise from the main road, but that was understandable. The road was hidden by trees and bushes, so there was still a feeling of privacy. Our host was wonderful. Did not intrude, but was very responsive via telephone if needed. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and perfect for sitting and admiring nature, or reading or bushwalking. We hope to stay again :)

We stayed in The Billabong Cottage for a week and it was just perfect for spending quality time as a new little family. Wonderfully quite and serene with all amenities and the market garden was a real plus. It is also close enough to all local attractions for day trips. Loved every minute of stay there! The house is full of character and charm. A perfect cosy little retreat without all the bells and whistles. Bonus if you love being surrounded by nature. It is on a gorgeous patch of land that you can explore. The house outlook is straight onto the dam. The reflection of the trees is literally as pretty as a picture. We would have loved to have stayed for longer but reality took us back to Sydney. Bonus options of being pet-friendly for those inclined to travel with pets (we were dog-less this time) and having access to the garden produce to add to your meals.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage is so homey and clean. King sized bed was so comfy and had aircon/ indoor fireplace and extra blankets. Had everything we needed and plenty of room for my partner, 6m old, dog and I. The grounds are so lovely to walk around and the cottage was situated on a pond, so relaxing to sit on the porch and listen to the birds of a morning and afternoon. This is a great place to stay - idyllic setting and close to everything. Read the excellent notes provided - they aren't kidding when they say everything closes early! We were caught out on the first night thinking the takeaway would stay open - nope!! A tip if you are bringing your dogs - our little one could squeeze under the balcony fence (lucky we have portable fences we could put up to stop her) and there isn't an outside fenced area for them to go out on their own. We enjoyed a relaxing time at the Billabong cottage - totally engrossed by the eel tailed catfish in the billabong!!

The Billabong is lovely and cosy place to stay for a couple. It is conveniently located near local beaches in Bawley and only a short drive to local towns such as Milton and Ulladulla which have amazing cafes, coffee and produce. The cottage is very welcoming with supplies and has everything you need to spend a few nights in at home around the beautiful billabong which is simply tranquil. The gardens surrounding the property are lovely with fresh produce, flowers and you can enjoy your own personal fire pit under the stars.

The cottage was really lovely and cosy with plenty of thoughtful touches: Different types of tea and coffee, firewood for the fire pit and inside fire. The billabong outlook was gorgeous too. The only downside: it is quite close to a road so you hear cars quite a bit during the day, but it dies down at night so it’s easy to sleep. Overall really happy with the stay! Thank you

We had a great weekend away at Linda and Len's beautiful property. They were both very welcoming and accommodating, having a fire lit for us before we arrived and always ensuring there was plenty of fire wood as well as showing through their beautiful vege garden which we had free access to. We loved our stay in the cottage on the billabong, and had a lovely peaceful, calming time there. The little touches around the cottage are what makes this place extra special - the outdoor setting on the balcony with crocheted rugs and the great selection of artworks that make it feel so homely. We really appreciated all the suggestions about great places to visit nearby, and the tips for exploring the property as well. The swing near the veggie patch was a particular delight.

Tranquil, cozy, picturesque...there are just some of the many words to describe this beautiful cottage and region. My first of what will no doubt be many many visits. Waking up to the sound of the raindrops in the billabong, walking around the gorgeous property and enjoying a coffee or meal on the porch watching the world go by. Whilst so close to do many beautiful beaches including Bawley-Kioloa, a short drive to Batemans Bay and Ulladulla, you simply don't want to leave your bubble. It's very cozy with all the amenities and thoughtful touches to make this a memorable stay. Communication has been fantastic and my hosts couldn't be more accommodating. looking forward to coming back soon!

Our stay at this cottage was more than we expected. It was clean, homely and decked out with everything you needed - including a hammock. Our dog loved the property and on the walks around the property we saw numerous kangaroos and birds. It was a privilege to stay here and seethe surrounding beaches.

We had the best stay at the cottage. The surroundings are amazing and you can find everything you might need in the cottage that you didn’t think of bringing with you (citronella candles, torch, etc.). The cottage was beautifully clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The outside area is great and has a fire pit that we used most nights. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog to enjoy our holiday with us.

Wow, we loved this cosy cottage! It had everything we needed and in such a beautiful setting. We spent a whole evening sitting by the dam watching the wildlife come and go, and even got a glimpse of some kangaroos when we went for an evening walk through the woods on the property. The cabin is beautiful, with all items you would need including a fun collection of games and movies, as well as Bluetooth capable speakers. A campfire is provided next to the water which is beautiful to sit next too as the sun goes down and the frogs start to sing. Linda provided fantastic suggestions of where to go in advance which was so helpful as we could book in advance for restaurants in Mollymook. The only negative is that the cabin is located next to Bawley Point Road. You are mostly shielded from the sight of it however you are not shielded from the noise. As we were really looking forward to piece and quiet this did impact our stay.

It was a great stay. The cabin is homey and has everything you could need. I loved sitting on the porch in the morning, looking out over the pond, and our pup exploring and chasing the birds. At night, it was so nice to light a fire and have a few glasses of wine. The property is really well set up with all the cabins having lots of privacy, and pleasant walking tracks around the place

A delightful cottage. So relaxing to listen to the birds singing throughout the day and then the nightly serenade of the frogs. An ideal location to use as a base for day trips to Mogo and Tilba. Perfect for dinners at home followed by either cozy fire inside or outside around the fire pit. The bed was SO comfortable, we both slept so well!

I came to Billabong Cottage for a getaway and to see more of the South Coast that I had so far only traveled to for work. I already had high expectations based on the listing and reviews, but the lovely cottage, huge property and incredible hospitality exceeded them all. The hosts are very welcoming. Terrific area with close beaches, and nearby Bawley Point is a friendly town, with lots to do and see in the area (the hosts can give some excellent recommendations); or if what you need is some R&R in a comfortable little cottage it's a lovely experience to stay in, especially on a cold night with the fire going or have a barbecue out on the balcony overlooking the billabong. If you're hoping for an escape to the coast, I can highly recommend this place.

This little cottage was amazing. On a lovely and quiet little property near some of the best beaches and forrests in the world. Lots of appliances, a great BBQ and everything else you would need. Open fire and aircon and a super comfy and warm bed. This was such a cosy little place and we had a lovely time. Our host Linda made sure we had lots of firewood and went above and beyond, helping us deal with an annoying courier situation and working with my Wife's mother in Canada to organise a birthday present for her (without us knowing). A lovely place to stay with great hosts, would 100% come back.

We stayed in the Billabong cabin for 3 nights. We arrived with the lights on and a roaring fire. A beautiful start to our stay. The cabin is spacious and very clean with a lovely balcony that over looks the billabong and a fire pit. We used the fire pit one night, it was magical. It was even fun to find the wood. The cabin is on a very special part of the South Coast. Mins from Bawley Point and many other stunning beaches and coastlines. We had fun exploring this region. The cabin is a close to a road however, this was not a problem at night. It did at times disturb the stunning surroundings. I would highly recommend taking some easy food to cook if arriving late. As the cook top is very slow to heat up. There is a small shopping centre at Bawley Point but it does close early. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

Lovely little cottage on the edge of a billabong in a lovely setting. One of several cottages on the property but completely private, it is a wonderful place for a get away. You are fully contained with full amenities to make all your meals. No wifi but full phone service (we are with telstra). Close to shops for your needs but can also completely escape from the city and relax. Can make your own fire, hang a hammock, play a game or two of back gammon, watch tv or just chill out. Highly recommend as a wonderful short or long (we did 10 days) stay with in 3 hr drive of Sydney.

This was a beautiful little secluded place which was great for us and our dog. It was not clear that there were many cottages on to property when booking, they were far away from each other but it felt like it wasn't as personalised. There was a plunger but no coffee!?! And there was an expectation that we swept before we left.. I thought this was what the cleaning fee was for.. Otherwise it was private and cute and they gave us privacy which was nice.

This place is just wonderful. You get the bush and the beach. My husband and I were so relaxed and our dog had the time of his life exploring the beautiful, big property. Cabin was lovely and has everything you need and more. Bed was super comfy!! You can sit on the porch and overlook the bird life at the Billabong or go walking to explore the property. We had the most relaxing weekend at Billabong Cottage! The king size bed was so comfortable with beautiful linen and towels. Everything was available that a guest might need in the kitchen and the bbq was awesome too! Generous organic products as well throughout. Everything was fantastic! The cottage feels very private and is so charming and cozy- exactly like the pictures. The wood fire is so nice. Really easy and simple check in and out. Definitely recommend for a get away, you feel like you’re in the middle of the Bush but you’re an easy 10-20 minute drive to some gorgeous beaches! Definitely recommend checking out Bawley Point beaches and Pretty Beach. Don’t hesitate to book this Airbnb it’s a great deal! :)

Stayed for three nights, could have been much longer. Some highlights were the natural setting, eco friendly products, the amazing bed and wood heater as well as the outdoor campfire. There are a few other cottages on the property, but not that you could tell at Billabong as it seemed utterly secluded, nonetheless a great setup that is pet friendly if you wanted to bring your dog or cat. We spent a day at Cupitt's winery only about 25 minutes away, would totally recommend as it was stunning. Great kitchen setup, we cooked every night and the stylish touches were really special and made it feel very much like a home. Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

This was such a cosy and comfortable place to stay - Linda had lit a fire to welcome me and it was lovely to walk in to see it crackling away. The cabin was toasty warm, everything was provided that I could need. Very restful, quiet and comfortable all round. The property is lovely too, with lots of kangaroos about. The communication with Linda was more than fast and very accurate. I just realised when we arrived that they have a website for their houses. I guess they obviously have to manage this part too and then she is still really responsive and nice. So thanks for that Linda. About the place, nothing complicated to find it, it extremely quiet at night and the spirit is just amazing! We had the one bedroom house, the king size bed is really comfy like the whole house itself. Small but perfect size for a couple and our dog (who loved the place too). Each corner of the house is a new experience and feeling. Each par has a view on the outside. Either you brush your teeth, or clean the dishes, eat at the table, stay on the couch... each part has a nice and relaxing view. You clearly feel like an adventurer in that place but with all the comfort of a resort :) Loved it!

I can't speak highly enough of this place!! Dreaming of returning as I'm back in SF. I actually ended up staying at the Corroboree Cottage, as Linda was very flexible and let me stay in my pick of those available. The cottage has everything you'd want - secluded setting overlooking a pond, vegetable and herb garden that you're welcome to use, outdoor deck with hammock, well stocked kitchen for cooking. There's also the small touches that make it feel as if someone actually lives there - olive oil and vinegar, citronella candles for mosquitos, books and DVDs, etc. The hosts helped me out with a map to pinpoint the best beaches in the area. Three weeks I was in Australia, and these were probably my favorite days. Grateful for my time at Mimosa!

This is a lovely little cottage just a short drive from many beaches. The property is home to many interesting birds and a few wallabies too. We loved being so close to nature and enjoyed sitting on the deck reading and admiring the billabong.

Easy to find, easy to check in. Billabong is a tiny quaint cabin that makes life so easy you’ll romanticise about giving up hectic city life and relocating permanently. We LOVED the fire pit. The wood was pre-gathered, again making life super easy. A roaring fire made the atmosphere toasty on a grey stormy night as we played backgammon and other games while sitting outside by the billabong. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has plastic Tupperware containers for that picnic you didn’t realise you’d have. Cuisine in Ulladulla is pricey and pretty country town in terms of decor, but the kitchen at the cabin is so well equipped that you won’t need to leave and can hideaway for the entire weekend if you stop by Woolies on the way there. Activities in the area feel a little light if you’re used to the power of Google. Many of the places we tried to find were no longer there. Keen bushwalkers should consider the walk from either Pretty Beach or Pebbly Beach to Mt Dussart. Or do the entire loop from Pretty Beach up Mt Dussart down to Pebbly beach and back round the coastal track. Time this carefully though because the last leg of the loop is only available at low tide. Take correct coins for the parks ticket machine in the Pebbly Beach car park ($8 for the day at the time of this review). Further south, a doable drive, is Mogo Zoo. A must for animal lovers. We saw people inside the meerkat enclosure petting these curious creatures. You can even feed their lions steak with tongs. Call ahead and ask about their animal experience packages/times to be safe. Back to the Billabong cabin. We also loved watching the lightening storms from the bedroom window and hearing the rain drops patter the roof. Definitely do it, but research the area first and plan your weekend to make the most of it. Last piece of advice, if coming from or returning to Sydney leave early to miss the traffic. The 3 hour drive took 5.5 hours when we left at 10am checkout time.

The cottage is cute and comfortable, and has an eclectic country feel. It was very well equipped and has luxurious bath sheets and bed linen. We loved the combustion heater and it was great having it all set up ready to light when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Linda seems to put a lot of care and attention into the cottage, making it feel comfortable and homily. Could hear the road traffic as it was school holidays and busy but isn’t as noticeable after a while. Couldn’t hear it at all during the night.

Lovely hosts and terrific cottage accommodation, very well appointed with extra special touches. Four cottages on the property, but well shielded from each other by trees and foliage. Private billabong with nighttime frog chorus (wonderful!), traffic noise was more than expected, but later in the night was less audible.

The billabong cottage was a perfect weekend escape and relaxing by the fire was just magic. We didn’t realise there were other cottages on the property - but that was never an issue - the way the cottages have been thoughtfully built and spaced on the property makes you feel like you are the only cottage on the property. The billabong cottage is private and had a warm inviting feeling, which was just want we wanted for our weekend away. We loved the high ceilings in the cottage - these made it feel much larger than the cottage really is. The king size bed was amazing - so comfortable that you won’t want to get out. And incase you forget to pack something, there is a corner store/petrol station not 5mins away, which is very handy. While it was too cold for us to enjoy, the outdoor fire pit is a great feature. Loved our stay at the billabong cottage.

We had a great stay at billabong cottage with our two little dogs. We spent the Easter long weekend and felt in love with the region. During our time there we visited Bawley Point, Kioloa, Pebbly beach, Broulee, Batemans Bay, Mogo, Turros Head and Narooma and we enjoyed and loved each of them. If you are a nature lover you'll fall in love with the area. The cottage is everything we were after: cozy, secluded, in the bush and few minutes away from beautiful and pristines beaches and national parks. Is the perfect place to disconnect, unwind and relax. The cottage has everything you might need, the bed and couch are super comfortable, a lovely verandah with bbq, and I loved the detail of the variety of teas provided. We will definetly come back again! Another unique thing to see is the kangaroos in Kioloa any afternoon. We've seen kangaroos many times before but in Kioloa they are everywhere: in people's gardens, following cars, at the beach... it's a pretty unique experience you have to see.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our week stay at the cottage. It’s great to find such a lovely pet friendly accommodation with a good proximity to the local beaches (10 minutes drive). It was nice to sit on the verandah and enjoy birds songs as well as take short trips to the local beaches. The place has everything you might need and is secluded from the other cottages. We had the most awesome time. Linda was quick with getting back to us, incredibly helpful and the cottage was immaculate. They thought of everything (even down to alfoil for the bbq). The location was stunning, secluded and we couldnt have asked for more. It was a quick 18 minute drive to both Ulladulla and the bay so we got to see an amazing amount of the coast with no hassle (check out south durass a couple stops down). We cant wait to visit again.

Lovley little cottage overlooking the billabong/pond. No issues with mosquitoes as of mid October. ❄️🌨️ Very chilly in the mornings and some nights, so perhaps bring slippers. 🔥 The fireplace was pre-set and ready to light when we arrived, which was very much appreciated :) 🔥 🛌 The bed is HUGE and the house has air-conditioning! ☕🥛 Extensive tea/coffee mini bar and a massive range of cooking and serving stuff in the kitchen 🍳🍴, two electric cook tops, toaster oven, and a microwave. Even includes wasing tub, pegs, ironing board & iron, a good sized hair dryer and two hot water bottles on the shelf in the bedroom.🐿️ We had a cute chubby possum visit us on the porch after dinner :) Lots of relaxing wildlife sounds all day and night - little birds, frogs, etc. 🐸🐦 ✨ DON'T FORGET TO LOOK UP AT THE STARS ✨ on a clear night! what a view! 🏖️ Very short drive to a lovley beach, which also makes for a great panaramoc view of the nights sky with very little light pollution from the houses over the hill. Really friendly hosts :) we will be back if ever in the area again.

We had a really lovely stay at Linda's place; the cottage is clean, homely and has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Linda is happy to help if needed and left the light on for us as we arrived late, which was really appreciated. The surrounding land is beautiful and we had some lovely walks around the property as well as chilling out by the billabong with a bottle of wine. It's a quick drive to the nearby beaches, most of which are dog-friendly, so was perfect for us and Ollie! Our stay at Billabong was perfect. It was romantic... tranquil..relaxing.. and just delightful. The Billabong Cottage was the best.. like a fairytale cootage beside the beautiful dam. At night it was so peaceful to sit out on the verandah listening to the frogs, crickets and native wildlife. The fireplace was so romantic and was ready to go for us when we got there. It was nice to have the aircon there as a backup. The shower was awesome .. instantaneous gas hot water. We really picked the perfect spot.. We absolutely loved our weekend away at the Billabong Cottage.

What a delightful little cottage. When we arrived Linda had lit the fire so it was warm and cosy. We loved the little touches and the rustic feel. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One very minor tip -if you are arriving later in the day it would be a good idea to get some provisions as there isn't anywhere to eat nearby. We'd like to spend more time on another trip.

Had a relaxing break in Billabong Cottage. It was dog-friendly and we took our Jack Russell down with us. It is close to beaches (5-10 min drive) and beaches are beautiful. Bed was comfy and HUGE! It was a bit hot without air-conditioning, however it is an eco retreat and fans are provided. Really enjoyed our stay here :-)

2 of us girls and a dog stayed at the Billabong cottage and it was an absolute treat! All our expectations were well and truly met and more... the place was beautiful, well equipped and clean - loved the Eco friendly products. The surroundings were stunning with lotus flowers in the Billabong, colourful birds and wallabies/kangaroos! All essentials were nearby including petrol station, liquor shop, supermarket... lakes, beaches, paddle board hire, boat hire and more. Overall the experience was great and we couldn't fault a thing, highly recommended 10/10

Our little cottage was super cosy with great decor, books, DVDs and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were also very cosy with many a pillow and nice fabrics. The fireplace was well stocked with wood and we made good use of it, the whole place was so relaxing. The Billabong and local flora and fauna made our stay just perfect. My Fiancee and I had such a lovely weekend at the Billabong Cottage. It was the perfect setting to relax! We spent the days exploring thr surroundings and the evenings sitting by the fire, with a cheese platter and glass of wine. In the morning we used the BBQ on the veranda, to cook bacon and eggs and enjoyed our breakie overlooking the peaceful billabong. We found an awesome 4WD track 5 mins away, which led to Lake Termeil and had a delicious, lazy lunch at Cupitts Winery which was only 25mins away. The cottage was comfortable and cosy and had everything we needed. We loved that there was also a bluetooth speaker available. Linda answered all our questions promptly and the wild flowers were a lovely touch :) Highly Recommended!

I stayed with my son and our golden, who had a wonderful time however I believe that the cottage is wonderfully suited as a couples retreat. The fire was already lit when we arrived and there was plenty of wood if we wanted to keep it going. The deck catches the morning sun - a lovely spot to dine under the shady umbrella while looking over the billabong and listening to the birds.

Had an amazing experience with my dad in their lake house. The house is beautiful and the view from the veranda is magic. We saw kangaroos as we drove up to the house and could listen to the wildlife all night long and in the morning. It was nice and quiet and it felt like we where in the middle of nowhere. Well, just wonderful! Linda and her husband are very friendly hosts, they also have two very cute dogs. and the cottage is beside a small pond. it is not so big but has everything we need. the sofa is soft, soft is the queen size bed. in the evening me and my wife would sit on the sofa, hold our little dog and watch TV. the place is so quite, you can only hear the frogs. very good place to relax. the next day we would drive to the beach about 10 mins drive, which is also dog friendly. in short, the place is just wonderful. we decided to stay more days the first day we checked in, however it was so popular that all the next few weeks had been booked already. but we definitely gonna come next year. so much fun!

I'm a local who a wanted a short break but not travel too far from home with my pet dog Sandy but still feeling like I was on a holiday. Billabong Cottage provided all that plus more. Beautiful setting, lovely interior and comfy king size bed, lots of pillows, towels,beautiful scented candles. I took my own supply of food and the kitchen was fully equip with even extras such as cling wrap, foil, coffee, tea. A great property to take your dog especially if they love water and lots of room for short/long walks ( I have a water loving lab). Host Linda was quick to respond to my last minute booking and I met Host Len on taking a walk around the property on arrival, who made me feel very welcome. The other cottages were far enough away so each cottage had privacy. The highlight everyday was sitting on the verandah/porch with Sandy overlooking our own billabong. Even though you couldn't see the road due to the beautiful setting of trees,vegetation I was surprised to hear traffic passing when sitting outside.Only time I left was to visit the dog friendly beach at Bawley Point , less than a 10 minute drive.

Stayed 2 nights at the Billabong cottage and it was a wonderful, peaceful, tidy and adorable little retreat. Beautiful wild flowers adorned the living room and the cottage was equipped with anything you might want. A great atmosphere all around and nice birds to observe over the balcony. Unforgettable! Amazingly cozy cottage with everyone one would need for a long or short stay. Very quiet surroundings with crickets chirping and frogs/toads calling at night in the pond right nearby. Cottage was very clean and we wished we had stayed for just the night. Linda was very quick in responding and was readily available to provide us with info if need be. Also got to meet her on our way out. Highly recommendable.

We had a lovely couple of days at Billabong cottage. It was neat, well equipped and private, on a property with a few other cottages but plenty of space between. Short drive to Bawley Point and less than 20mins to Ulladulla. The wildflowers were a particularly nice touch, and the slow combustion heater was warm and cosy on cool nights. A very nice place to stay.

We stayed in the small lovely cottage near the pond for only one night, but was totally worth it. We had a barbecue outside and inside we had a chimney which was pretty handy as during the night it turned to be a little bit cold. Everything is very peaceful and if you are a bird lover you can see plenty of them there as they have a lot of trees and flowers. When we arrived inside our house we had a bouquet of flowers and some oranges grown right near the cottages. Overall it was an very nice experience we would definitely go there again.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Our little cottage was quaint and extremely cosy. It had We loved it! It pretty much had everything we needed. Definitely going to visit again!
