We had a fantastic time at Linda's place. Very clear instructions lead for a peaceful stay. My dog loved the stay too, comfortably sitting by the fire and on the fenced verandah when outside. Bawley Point beaches are beautiful and only a short drive away, we were able to catch sunrise each morning of our stay.

Linda was also a great host and communicated with us promptly and provided us with clear instructions and recommendations for our stay. Had a wonderful and relaxing time at Cooee cottage — it was the lazy bush hideaway we were hoping for. Perfectly located close to beaches and local shops for necessities and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be able to truly switch off. The property is stunning and we felt right at home. Our trip to Linda’s cottage was a peaceful escape. We loved the beautiful surroundings, tucked away in the bush yet only a 5 minute drive to explore the secluded beaches of Bawley. The cottage was cosy and very clean, and we felt right at home, provided with everything needed to feel comfortable. A highlight was waking up to the sounds of nature. We didn’t have much phone service, however we were happy to fill any time at the accomodation watching DVDs and playing board games, also provided. The hosts were very helpful in including detailed information about the area such as local spots to eat and more. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at Cooee Cottage- we love it! the fact we are able to bring our pups and have privacy and peace in such a gorgeous area is a huge drawcard. The cottage is beautifully and mindfully styled and feels clean and fresh. Added items like the hammock, outdoor shower, BBQ, firepit and outdoor table make it feel like a welcoming space. The only thing I would want to change is the indoor lounge as it isn't the comfiest, but this is such a minor detail that doesn't affect our desire to come back again next year. We simply love our time here so much!!

Loved staying with Linda and Len. It was such a peaceful setting and every day we saw a new kind of bird, or noticed a different flower. Close to great local food and beaches. The kitchen had everything we needed and our pets loved sniffing around the loop around the beautiful property. We hope to be back soon ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cooee Cottage! From the moment we arrived, the friendly hosts made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is perfect for unwinding and relaxing in nature. Surrounded by native flowers and greenery, it's an ideal spot to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying our morning coffee on the peaceful deck. One of the highlights was the close proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches, It made our daily trips to the coast so convenient and enjoyable. It was easy to get in and find the location. But didn’t match up with the photos that they have shared. Rooms looked very small. And bathroom is infront of dining area. Need to clean up the front pond. Didn’t match up with the pictures. And very small basin in the shower which needed to fix cause the water get stuck. Needed to do a proper maintenance for the place. Linda and Len are wonderful hosts, helpful and instructive but sense to vie to giving you space. My only mild objection is that I think they should keep the assets on the site such as the fruit groves and herb garden up to date as described. Otherwise, a delight.

Great place, very peaceful and could walk around the grounds and see lots of wildlife especially kangaroos and birds. We enjoyed having a fire outside and looking at the stars. Very dog friendly and our dog loved having a little swim in the water. Not far from beautiful beaches also. Linda was very informative and we really enjoyed a visit to Cupitt’s winery in Ulladulla which was one of Linda’s recommendations. We will be going back again. Thanks Linda

The Cooee Cottage was absolyetly beautiful, along with the rest of the grounds at Mimosa Eco Retreat. It was incredibly cosy and private despite having multiple properties on site. The surrounding areas were beautiful with lots to do, and the host left some great reccomendations for things in the area. Ther hosts made sure that our stay was incredible, our cottage was supplied with all of the expected and listed necessities and the grounds feature multiple veggie gardens which we were encouraged to explore and pick to eat. We also really appreciated the map left by the hosts to help us navigate the property and all it had to explore. I would highly reccomend staying here, or at any of the other cottages on the property, an absolutely wonderful getaway spot.

A beautiful, quaint and comfortable cottage in scenic and serene setting. The cottage itself has lots of lovely, homely touches and it's just a few minutes by car to a number of beautiful beaches at Bawley Point - so perfect if your outdoorsy or indoorsy. Had a beautiful weekend here with our little doggy. Check in was super easy. Hosts are onsite and you receive complete privacy, they’ve designed their cottages with this in mind. Very detail oriented set up, nothing was missing. Serene environment, fire pit outside, fireplace indoors. Would definitely come back it was so peaceful and perfect :)

We had such a dreamy weekend away at Cooee Cottage. Nestled away in the bush yet only a 5 minute drive down to the beach, it was quiet and peaceful. You can see how much thought and effort has gone into the whole air bnb experience. We loved (and appreciated!) picking fresh veggies from the garden and the indoor and outdoor fires. Such a beautiful and quiet spot, we took our 6 month old daughter for her first holiday and could not be happier. The outdoor area is perfect for lunch, breakfast and dinner all whilst watching the fire and listening to the frogs, birds and other critters. The house was clean and well supplied with everything that you need, a massive bonus was collecting fresh herbs from the garden and picking delicious mandarins from the trees. Also loved being able to have our dog with us, the deck was the perfect size for him to sunbathe in the morning and afternoon sun. Communication was amazing, Linda was great at helping us answer any questions and gave us excellent recommendations regarding the area.

Cooee cottage was a delight to stay in. The slow combustion fireplace was so cosy and plenty of firewood was supplied. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was functional and had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. we got lots of fresh vegetables from the gardens - which were amazing!! There was so much to do on the property itself and it's clear that Linda and Len put so much effort into making the place as wonderful as it is!!! we will definitely be back!

A tranquil escape with a lovely cottage. We loved sitting in front of the fire place at night and being surrounded by nature. We had some yummy mandarins picked from the hosts garden and we saw a family of kangaroos early in the morning. If you need a relaxing break away this is your place to stay, we feel very rejuvenated.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage! It was perfect for a getaway from Sydney and the fireplace was divine! The firewood is topped up daily and the place is so peaceful. There were people staying in the other cottages during our stay but we couldn’t hear them and it didn’t effect our stay at all. Highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cooee cottage. We have been to Bawley Point previously and this time loved exploring the area during winter. The cottage was very cosey and the outdoor fire pit was put to good use. The property is fun to explore and even though there are 4 cottages they were all very private. Linda and Lens communications was helpful and easy and they have created a perfect place to stay and explore the beautiful south coast.

Our stay was incredibly peaceful and cozy across (weather wise) a chilly and rainy weekend. There was ample firewood and a wonderfully picturesque fire pit spot, beautiful fresh greens and herbs in the garden, and lovely personal touches like lovely soaps and body wash etc provided. We really did have everything we needed. We also really appreciated the care taken to make the place pet friendly and also secluded/ private from all others. We felt at peace and extremely relaxed after a few days surrounded by bush, listening to rain on a tin roof and staring into the log fire 😊 Thanks so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the most wonderful weekend! Linda & Len were so lovely and accomodating and made us feel so welcome! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our week long trip, a place to relax & reset. Everything felt so simple, and Linda & Len had really thought of everything. All of the extra little details really made it feel like home. It was the perfect place for our energetic 2 year old to run wild, search for kangaroos & roast marshmallows. We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Cooee Cottage. The 4 cottages are far enough apart that you don't really see or hear the other guests unless you go for a walk. The property itself is beautiful, with a number of beautiful protea trees from when it was a flower farm. We loved wondering through the veggie patches and picking out a few things to add to our roast. We ran into Linda and Len in the garden and they were very accommodating and generous. The doggies loved exploring the property and had a great time. The cottage itself was perfect and cosy and had everything we needed. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the outside space including a fire pit next to the pond with a beautiful vista. We are looking forward to visiting again!

We had the best stay at Cooee Cottage! Such a beautiful location and wonderful hosts with great communication. The location is slightly less secluded than you’d imagine. There are a few other cottages around which made us a bit stressed that we were disturbing people when our puppy was barking at at all the beautiful new wildlife he was experiencing. But in saying this, we didn’t see or hear anyone from the other cottages. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay! Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend Mimosa Eco Resort for anyone travelling along the coast. Cooee Cottage was a gorgeous little space, very warm and homely. Rainy nights by the fire was exactly the relaxing break we needed. The property was fun to explore and was pretty from every angle, the kitchen garden, big swing and fruit trees were a huge bonus. Without a doubt, we will be making our way back to Mimosa Eco Resort soon.

An idyllic getaway! I've been to Linda and Len's cottages over the years and would so again in the future. They are amazing hosts and their Airbnb cottages are a little homes away from home next to beautiful beaches within 5-10mins. This time round we were able to experience Music on the Lawns at Bawley vineyard - Linda gave us a heads up which allowed us to purchase tickets before they sold out! It was a lovely experience overall and would recommend!

The cabin is great, super cozy and comfortable and relaxing, great for reading a book on the couch or in the hammock, and far out of the hustle of Ulladulla in the Bush. Eight minute drive to the beach, and the herb garden is super sweet. Highly recommend, was the best little relaxer we’ve had in a while. The only downside is the hot water in the shower, it’s max hot water tap and minimal cold water tap, and cuts in and out a bit - but that’s conducive to a speedy shower which is probably for the best given it’s an eco friendly rainwater tank system.

The photos and reviews do not do this place justice! The property is stunning! Absolutely amazing, so private, so cute, and absolutely everything you need! So many beaches and incredible restaurants nearby! Us and our doggos loved it. The hosts are incredible too! So many incredible recommendations and thoughtful touches (the shampoo/conditioner/and body wash are AMAZING!). They even got us the name and phone number for a local doggy day care just in case we wanted/needed to go somewhere without them! Seriously wish there was more than 5 stars to dish out! We will definitely be going back in the future!

Location was excellent cottage was very nice and very clean.However the photos do not show the three extra cottages that share the space on the acreage. We thought we would have the whole area but it’s just a small space that’s private. Also there is nowhere secure to keep a dog if you take one. Be aware if you rent this space you cannot leave the pet at all the whole time you are there. Linda was great with communication and lives on the property.

Linda’s place is amazing, it’s a very peaceful and private getaway in a beautiful area. Very rare to find something close to the beach among a forest! Highly recommend for a trip to unwind and enjoy the local beaches. After trying a few of the dog beaches we found Wimby Beach good if you are looking for something without big waves

This is one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The cabin was cosy and amazing for relaxing. Great verandah overlooking a dam. Amazing indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Located on a beautiful bush block with visits from King Parrots. Also 5-10 minute drive to the beach. Great amenities. We had a fantastic getaway.

Cooee Cottage is adorable. It is a cosy space with everything you could need for a peaceful relaxing stay immersed in nature. Even though it was raining, we had a wonderful windswept time exploring the wild and wonderful local beaches. The whole area is very unspoilt, free from crowds and has a lovely slow pace. There was an abundance of birds and a very large mob of local kangaroos! We loved the frog song from the billabong, the hammock, and the 'very easy to light' log burner. The beds were super comfy and there were lots of extras to make us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended.

Linda's place is beautifully decorated, and is peaceful. It is close to the turnoff and road, but the traffic wasn't an issue. The bed was comfortable, and the space is really well thought out, and very clean and tidy. Linda's place is much nicer than the photos, there is a billabong right next to the cottage, so the dogs loved a swim in there. There is a froggy chorus at night, so you get front row seats! We ate at the Bay Leaf Indian restaurant in nearby Ulladulla, which was delicious, relaxed in the cabin playing Scrabble, and went to Kioloa Beach with the dogs. Thanks Linda and Len for a great stay to celebrate my Mum's birthday. The dogs didn't want to leave and we hope to return.

Such a wonderful stay for the long weekend. The frog chorus in the evening from the lake was wonderful - sitting in the hammock listening to it with a glass of wine was heavenly. And with a 3 and 2 year old, we really appreciated being able to lock the balcony gate to the lake and relax all together on the balcony. Thanks for a great week away. Cabins were far enough away from each other that you didn't notice them. Dog had fun exploring the grounds, as did the kids. Five minutes drive from all day off-leash dog beach and good coffee.

Walking in to the fireplace alight was such a lovely welcome after getting there after dark and be able to have meals overlooking our own private Billabong we felt very spoilt. A short drive to the stunning Bawley beach and next time we will definitely bring our dogs so they can enjoy too.

This place was amazing! It was perfect for a getaway out of the city. It's situated between two other cabins but you couldn't even tell. The billabong and fire made it feel like our own private area - I don't think we left the property all weekend! Definitely recommend :)

Myself, my partner and our dog stayed here for 2 nights and we had a great time! The cottage was cozy and the perfect place to relax and unwind. We especially loved the indoor fire and the fire pit! There are plenty of dog friendly beaches around too. We would defiantly visit again :)

Linda's place is so beautiful! 😍 The Cooee Cottage was so cute, cosy and rustic. We enjoyed a perfect winters evening in front of the fireplace, snuggled underneath the blankets with a cheeky red in hand 😉 ..the outdoor firepit and setting beside it was also perfect for star gazing. My wife and I spent a wonderful evening at Linda's Cooee Cottage. It was everything described and more. The cabin was clean and fresh with all the facilities needed for a totally relaxing stay. We took Linda's advise and roasted marshmallows by the fire and stared at the stars. A truly enjoyable stay and we hope to visit again.

This is a slice of heaven and was a much needed mini getaway for us. The cabin was so cosy and clean ,and we enjoyed the board games, bbq dinners and listening to the sound of the frogs and birds as we went to sleep. Overall a gorgeous place to stay and relax. We went on a huge walk on Saturday and covered close to 33,000 steps, and loved the beach swims at sunrise and sunset. We will definitely come back here. Davina & Kalman

We had a relaxing time just chilling. Linda responded quickly to messages & provided detailed instructions on how to find the cottage. Our dogs loved running around & I loved chilling in the hammock. It was a short drive to a dog beach & local cafe's. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from it all.

We were given prompt communication and service. The cabin is cozy and cute. The fireplace was brilliant. Location is fab! Only 5 min to the beach, 7 min to Bawley point shops, 20min to Ulladulla and 30 min to historic Milton. The farm was lovely, complete with its own simple walking track and we loved the ponds, chickens and hammock!

A lovely collection of cottages, with enough space for privacy. The Cooee cottage was beautiful, and as other reviewers have said - the photos don’t do it justice. It’s comfy and cosy inside, and situated right next to the billabong. You’re right in the bush too, so there’s lots of wildlife around. We brought our dog with us, and she had a great time at the dog-friendly beach nearby. Overall it’s a lovely spot for a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely restorative stay at the Cooee cottage for the long Australia Day weekend. The place is very well equipped and cosy. Nice touches, organic products used in the kitchen and the bathroom. Very handy location to surrounding beaches and national parks. We particularly liked having breakfast by the billabong next to the cottage (enjoying the lilies in bloom and water skinks sunning themselves on the rock) and also hanging in the hammock on the terrace listening to the frogs singing at night. We would highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay, so close to the beaches, playground and even though you are near other cottages it definitely feels private. The cottage is well equipped and there was plenty of room for our 3 year to play inside and out. Linda is an efficient communicator and rectified any issue we had right away. Enjoyed our stay in the secluded cottage. Was a nice one night get away before Christmas. However it was pretty pricey for what it was, and they even asked us to pay extra for a few eggs. The mosquitoes of a night are a bit bitey and had to move indoors quickly at dusk. Host was quick to respond and place was honest, well kept and clean.

A pleasant cottage -- I would stay there again. Lots of great animal sounds throughout the day (birds, frogs, insects). I thought these were one of the best features, but light sleepers might want to exercise caution. Linda was helpful and responsive.

My partner and I had the best weekend we can remember, all thanks to Linda and Len's little haven of peace and comfort. We arrived to find the fire ready to light, plenty of creature comforts and an unbeatable atmosphere of pure relaxation. We spent hours on the verandah playing Scrabble and BBQ-ing, taking in the view and the serenity. The cosy cottage is fitted with everything you need and more. This was an exceptional wee get away. Having an bon fire at night right near the private little cottage was absolute magic. The grounds are lovely for stargazing/kangaroo/horse spotting. The cottage is so cute and cozy, it was nice to stay somewhere that hadn't been over done. Wish I could have stayed for a week it was so wonderful

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Cooee Cottage. The cabin and setting are gorgeous, and we enjoyed the little bush track walk. Linda had the combustion fire lit for us before we arrived, which made it lovely and cosy as we settled in. My husband enjoyed embracing his inner cave man by getting the outdoor fire pit going for us to toast marshmallows and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun went down. We appreciated the basics provided in the kitchen (tea, coffee, hot chocolate!) and made use of the BBQ for dinner. Communication and check in/out was completely painless. The other cabins are a little closer than I had expected from the photos, but it didn't detract from privacy or feeling like we had our own little oasis in the bush. Great spot and I think we'll be back for a longer stay :)

The cottage has everything you need, towels and linen etc. The fireplace was all ready for us to light when we got there, lovely touch!
