We had a wonderful 7 day stay. The views are spectacular and really enjoyed the serenity of the location in what can be a bustling area. The apartment has been renovated to a very high standard and is well maintained. Hanna is very responsive and knowledgeable. Having a garage which is easily accessed was a nice bonus.

Future guests should stay here just for the views alone: such a great view over the port town. The apartment is quiet, private, and well apportioned. The town is 12min from Nice, where there is a good choice of restaurants and markets. Also well located near the village of Eze. A big plus is the two terraces, the lower one gets good sun the AM and the roof terrace is perfect for the afternoon lounging and dinners. Would def recommend for a family or couple(s).

Beautiful place with gorgeous views and very convenient for students at l’Institut de Français. The only downside for us was the proximity of restaurants. It was at least a 20 minute walk down the hill to town and a 20 minute climb back up the mountain after dinner each night to get to any restaurant. The place itself is very nice and peaceful.

Thanks to Martin for renting his perfectly arranged and decorated accommodation with taste and restful sobriety. The view of the bay of Villefranche Sur Mer is absolutely wonderful. Quality, comfort and cleanliness. We had our breakfast while contemplating the Mediterranean!. The large balcony is very well exposed and allows you to sunbathe in the middle of winter. We walked down to Villefranche through the alleys to make a small fish restaurant, then you have to go up quietly and it makes it possible to eliminate;-). What a beautiful country the Nice country. He honored us with his beneficial sunshine, we who were coming from the east in need of vitamin D. We left with colors in February!. Thanks again to Martin and Hanna for hosting and this wonderful place.

The apartment has a wonderful view and is nicely decorated. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Very pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. The nice sound system is a bonus. Hanna is very helpful, freindly and responsive. All in all, it was a enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend. Minor areas for improvement would be the water temperature and pressure could be a little higher. The walk from the parking to the apartment also could be a bit inconvenient on a rainy night. Would love to come back.

Had a great stay at the Rooftops. Stunning views, a beautiful large balcony and even bigger terrace upstairs. Loved the apartment, it was spacious, stylish and airy but felt homely so you could relax. Communication with Hanna was great. She suggested some super restaurants and things to do. She was friendly and kind throughout our visit but not intrusive. I would say you do need a car to make the most of the area but there was shops, cafes, restaurants a walkable distance. All in all an excellent stay, would highly recommend. Thank you!

First and foremost, Hanna was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment if very nice and spacious with incredible views from the balcony and the rooftop. The second bedroom was a bit cramped. The apartment is a little out of the way so you will probably need a car to get around. However, you have to sacrifice the location a little to get that incredible view. We did have a couple of hiccups with a small water leak and a tripped breaker switch, but not anything that would interrupt your stay. The apartment was very well furnished and very clean. Again, Hanna is very responsive to any and all requests. Would definitely stay there again.

Martin’s place is absolutely beautiful with heart stopping views of Villefranche, St. Jean Cap Ferrat and surrounding areas on the coastline. The housekeeping here is impeccable in every room; but the bathrooms are particularly pristine and professionally prepared for guests. Hanna, the concierge for this property is an excellent contact source. She is very pleasant, friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any questions guests may have. The property is very perched, so be prepared to do a bit of energetic walking to get either down to the village or back up to the property. But you can always save some time and energy by combining those efforts with cab or Uber drives to ease the workouts….either way, the views from the apartment are well worth those efforts.

Wow what a beautiful place and the view was fabulous. The apartment had everything needed for our 10 day stay. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Nothing was forgotten. I always take basics eg. tea bags, coffee, cloths etc to take the stress out of the first shop but they were all provided. The location is fantastic to be able to explore the highlights of this part of the riviera. We come to the South of France a lot and each time stay in a different area and have a different experience but we would definitely come back to this town and apartment. We had originally planned not to have a car due to the train service but it is a bit of a trek to the station from the apartment so we were pleased we hired a car in the end. Very steep up and down to the old town. We are used to physical exercise so it was no problem for us but for those less mobile, a car is recommended. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi is a bit slow and didn’t work very well on the balcony/rooftop but a minor issue.

We had a fantastic stay at Martin's apartment - it's stylish yet comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of 3. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, the apartment is immaculately clean, and the balcony and rooftops are wonderful for enjoying the fantastic view. Having the pool was an added bonus as our daughter loved to squeeze in a swim each day. Hannah was an excellent host - she was helpful in arranging a few things for us in advance of our stay, in addition to giving us a walk-through of the apartment upon arrival and being responsive to any questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone considering a stay in Villefranche, it's an amazing place to stay.

You will fall in love with this view, the balcony, the rooftop patio area, and this part of the French Riviera. It was an honor to be a guest in Martin's home. Hanna is an exceptional property manager and host. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at the train station (highly recommend) and gave us a tour of the home and later checked in on us. Martin and Hanna thought of everything, e.g., beach towels and blankets for evenings on the balcony or the rooftop. Recommend using the rooftop not just during the day for sunbathing but at night to look at the planets and stars. The food market is about an 8 minute walk and it's a 20 minute walk to Old Town, the beach, or tain station. There are plenty of restaurants. Approximately 350 stairs between Martin's home and the train station. By the end of our stay, we handled them like we were residents. We felt safe walking around even at night. Building complex was quiet, and we used the pool almost daily. Looking forward to our return visit.

Beautiful accommodation with magnificent views of Villefranche Bay and beyond. Hanna, our host is very friendly and responsive. We especially enjoyed the terrace and the roof top. It was more complicated with an elderly person to walk from the apartment to the city center as there are many "staircase" paths. We had a great time.

Our stay here was incredible! Hanna was a very communicative host and gave us a good lay of the land when we checked in. The view from the balcony and rooftop deck were worth the stay alone. The walk to town is about 10 minutes but it’s very easy to access via the stairs. I’d stay here again on my next trip to the region!

What a fabulous place! Definitely a highlight of our trip relaxing on the decks and soaking in the view. The apartment is very well stocked. Beds very comfortable and bathrooms roomy and beautiful. Having our own parking spot was very much appreciated. Walked down the “shortcut” stairs to the old village for dinner and took a 15 euro taxi back up afterwards. Highly recommend this property if you would like to pamper yourself!

We stayed in this gorgeous apartment for two weeks and enjoyed every moment, the view was truly breathtaking (exactly as pictured), the actual apartments functionality was great; it is modern, clean and well maintained. The pool was a great fall back for the days we didn’t feel like going to the beach. The actual location of the building complex is excellent - so close to Nice and to the most stunning beaches on the Riviera; we rented a car so that made it even easier. The area is quiet and calm while still being close to action within a 5 min drive. As a family with children this apartment was perfect and functional for us. I am still dreaming of the views from the balcony and spectacular rooftop terrace. It was truly the best place we have stayed at in the years of coming to the Côte D’Azur. Thank you for creating such a beautiful, easy to use space with views we could only dream of. We would 100000% stay here again and again and again.

We had a great time at the very nice apartment. The apartment is as shown in the pictures and has fantastic views over the bay where we never sat. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and there was everything available to spend a nice holiday. The care by Hanna was perfect, she took care of everything and was always available to us.

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous. Our stay coincided with the heat wave that blanketed Europe, and it was wonderfully refreshing to swim in the pool that guests have access to. The rooftop terrace is truly incredible: so relaxing to gaze out on the harbor and Cap Ferrat. There's also a large balcony off the living area, which is a great place to have breakfast or dinner. The apartment is large and filled with light. Truly a gem. Hanna is great host and was always accessible to answer our questions. If you plan on going to town a lot, which we did, you may want to rent a car. There is a serious hill with switchbacks to climb from town to the house. My husband and I didn't mind it, but our teenager complained loudly. One can take a taxi from town back to the house for 15 Euros. On Saturdays and Wednesdays, I believe, there's a wonderful farmer's market at the town square that has delicious produce, cheese, and olives.

It's a beautiful apartment with great views and is well equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone ed. Hanna, who looks after the apartment, was very helpful as well. The only word of warning is you have to like hills or have transport but it's worth the walk!

This is a truly exceptional property. The view from two different levels, the living area and the roof deck, is absolutely superb - one of the finest views anywhere on the planet! The property is immaculate and clearly has just been remodeled with the finest materials and workmanship. Everything is first class and designed for total comfort and relaxation - from the furnishings to the showers, awnings, sliders, etc. etc. The kitchen is well stocked and supplied and has all the equipment you'll need. We loved being in the house so much that we decided to eat in every night - which we did not expect, and the kitchen had all we needed to cook our own meals. Hanna, the property manager, is a real professional - very thorough, communicates very well, cares about your comfort, and is also nice to work with. We've been at a lot of Airbnbs, and are hosts ourselves, and this is one of the finest properties we've ever been in.

This apartment has stunning views of the bay and is very well equipped and furnished. The balcony and rooftop are equipped with very comfortable furniture that make relaxing and dining outside so enjoyable. The airconditioning is very effective and both bedrooms are on the shady side of the building which is perfect. The off-street garage parking is easily accessed and is a real bonus if you have a car. The walk down into the attractive centre of Villefranche takes about 15 mins - plenty of great places to eat and drink. Taxis are available for the walk back - the streets are pretty steep.

The house is amazing. You just walk in and the view really does take your breath away. A wonderful place to come home to after seeing and visiting wha the area has to offer. As the apartment has stunning views, it’s no surprise that it’s 15 minutes walk down to the port and almost twice as long for the return! But absolutely worth it as the apartment is fabulous. Pure lines and aesthetically pleasing furniture and decor, all sparklingly clean. Roof terrace is also very well equipped. Large garage easily accessible in the apartment building’s grounds. Hanna is an excellent and conscientious co-host who goes beyond the call of duty. We much appreciated her caring.

Exceptional stay in Martin's **** apartment!! I stayed here in September 2021, and the apartment was just perfect: - very well located, 10 minutes walk to the beach and port of Villefranche and less than 5 minutes to the Col de Villefranche (many shops) - Very clean and very well decorated. The apartment has been refurbished and is very pleasant to stay in - a huge roof terrace (accessible directly from the apartment) with exceptional views of the Bay of Villefranche As a bonus we were super well hosted and accompanied during our stay. Recommended and will be back, thanks again!
