Very good location for Alnwick Castle. Not able to park on the street itself but there was free parking nearby.

Despite a photo of a closed down pub showing when clicking on 'directions' (a bit of a worry) the pub has been transformed into stylish apartments and Rooftops Grey suited our needs perfectly - a 4 night stay to visit Alnwick Castle and Lindisfarne. My bedroom window was opposite the castle wall, with the entrance at the top of our street!! Rooftops Grey was clean, warm and comfortable and within walking distance of castle, buses and Barter Books - a must-visit!! Recommended.
