Well appointed accommodation in a quiet country setting. The rooms feel spacious and everything worked. The WiFi is unreliable - as mentioned. We found our way around for food, eatingat The Apple Inn was a great experience so we wnt twice. The only supermarket in the vicinity is the Co-op in Belfield. The milk in the fridge when we arrived was very much appreciated. The site had a power cut due to the high winds but Heather at Stay was very helpful and it was restored very quickly. She also looked up restaurant information for us. We have had a great stay.

Beautifully furnished cottage in a pretty rural setting.
Reported the oven as it made a very loud unusual noise while it was on which I was quite concerned about.

Beautiful cottage. We felt at home there right away.
Spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfy bed, huge bedroom great shower etc.
Nice and remote, so perfectly quiet even with adjoining cottages either side .
Very little.....and now I'm really 'nit-picking'.
WiFi was a pain, but we were warned about this and that's what it is.
TV channels were variable as well, but this might have been as above..
Perhaps a clock in the bedroom would be a nice addition.

Clean comfortable cottage.
The description said the kitchen had a washing machine, dryer, and a dishwasher. There were none of these, but there was a communal washing machine and dryer in a shed outside. No sign of a dishwasher anywhere.

Great location, luxurious cottage
I was highly irritated by the demand for a ‘damage waiver’ fee of £25, sent after paying in full for the booking. I interpreted this as an optional insurance and did not respond only to find the key code I had been sent did not work as a result. Luckily, we arrived at the cottage during office hours and was able to sort it out by phone; had we arrived later, we would have had nowhere to spend the night. For the sake of transparency, all fees should be included in the initial booking to avoid guests feeling they are victims of extortion! And please note: no damage was done.

A great little place for a couple, and a great base for exploring Northumberland.
The need to set up a separate damage deposit or waiver policy was a real pain. Why not just include that risk in the basic price on Booking.com? It took a lot of admin time to set up - and still hasn’t been refunded two weeks after our stay. A serious black mark on what was otherwise a great place to stay.

We stayed 4 enjoyable nights at daisy cottage the cottage was clean comfortable and well maintained.
Daisy cottage was a little to rural for us although the peacefulness was nice we were a little to far away from anything to be able to walk anywhere.

Lovely cottage ideal for 2, very quiet with parking.
Nothing, the road was very narrow but it was a quiet and secluded spot.

Ok more remote than expected
Provide knives which cut properly and more kitchen equipment for cooking.
Recycling info inc a caddie for food recycling..
Access road is very narrow and would be better used if verges were cut. This limited out ease of access..reversing quite a distance to allow cars to pass.

We appreciated the tea, coffee sugar and milk there on arrival.
The kitchen was well stocked with equipment.
Our bathroom was cosy and well planned. The towels were lovely as were the robes you provided.
We knew the wi-fi would be intermittent from your information but it wasn't too bad.
All of it was great. Many thanks.

The location was excellent for getting to the places we wanted. Place had most things we needed. The place was comfortable but in need to be cleaned properly.
We found the kitchen was dirty, grease on cooker hood had not been cleaned in a while, dirty cups in the cupboard, not washed. The kitchen had not had a good enough clean at all, which was very poor knowing guests were staying. I've held back from completing the review due to holding deposit charges. You have to pay once you confirm your booking. Do watch and read everything. This was not returned to me after 21 days of checking out despite saying it takes 14 days, which is still a ridiculous amount of time to keep an extra £250! So, as I said, read the extras. The cost of the stay was a reasonable amount.

Location in the countryside but near to beaches peaceful, wonderful for wildlife especially birds.
Cottage Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Large very comfy double bed.
Fabulous balcony for sitting out, relaxing, reading, and enjoying the birdsong.
Small inconvenience at night as
elderly couple, that shower room and toilet was downstairs.

Comfortable settees and large bed. The towels are lovely and fluffy. The house was lovely and warm.Lots of parking next to the accommodation. The cottage is set in an area with no other buildings around so lovely and quiet. Waking up to the birds was lovely. We watched the birds in the woodland opposite the house. Very near Bamburgh but slightly too far to walk.
Plastic flowers - totally unnecessary. We bought our own daffodils and hid all the fake ones.

We liked the location and the cottage was lovely
We didn't get the information giving us the code for the key pad. We assumed that someone would be there to meet us, not so. We waited a while but then I tried to telephone but couldn't get through. I then sent a message. I did get a reply quickly thankfully. Also, the password for the Internet wouldn't work so it was 2 days before I could get Wifi

Location 1.5 mls from Bamburgh . Really Comfortable bed , large bedroom , modern well appointed bathroom , loads of towels . Very clean .
Kitchen minimally equipped and decorated in vicious peppermint green .Lounge poorly decorated in sludge grey, brown , with magnolia walls. No shade on decking which I would have loved to have used but too hot.

The property is well situated for touring the area and is very quiet. It is well resourced and has everything needed for a pleasant holiday for two.
It sounds a minor gripe, but there was only one tea towel and no dishcloth. The wifi disappeared after a day and a half, but fortunately I was able to recover the service by using the password and user name from the router, instead of the password provided.

We stayed in Tulip cottage .It was like a home from home with everything you could want. The cottage was extremely quiet and peaceful in a little hamlet( not in Belford)
An added bonus was it had a smart TV so we could watch the programmes we were watching at home. I would one hundred percent recommend this listing. It was my birthday during the week and I wanted a pub meal.We went to the White Swan which is about a ten minute drive from the cottage this was the only down side to location.

2 sofas available, heating options, well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. Bathrobes and toiletries are provided.
Floor was carpeted, not wooden or hardfloor as advertised. Spacious bedroom, but no real wardrobe. I missed a small table in front of the sofas. In general, the house seemed a bit austere to me, although there was everything you needed.

Pretty, cottage in a group of 6 in a secluded location so very quiet. Easy access to Bamburgh. We walked in as it's only just under 3 miles but it's a quick drive. Nicely decorated and parking on site. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry room with washer, dryer and with a large freezer, shared with the other cottages Outdoor decking with chairs and tables for relaxing gets the sun (when there is some) in the afternoon and evening.
We were pleasantly surprised by the WiFi signal as I'd read it was poor (along with poor/little mobile phone signal in the area), so we'd done all our research and planning before arriving. It wasn't perfect, and it was intermittent but we were able to check emails, double check routes on Google maps, message people etc.
The bathroom is downstairs so not ideal if you need to go to the loo in the night. I missed the bottom step a couple of times (even with the light on) as it is on an angle. There's so much space upstairs I'm sure a toilet could have been fitted up there.
Could do with a little more hanging space and hangers.
We had to wash all the cutlery, crockery and pans before using them as the cutlery in particular was not clean. We usually rinse or quick wash before using anyway but these really needed it.
The cottage itself was really clean and comfortable.
The parking can be tight when all the cottages are occupied.
Overall we had a positive experience and enjoyed our stay.

loved the cottage and it was nicely off the beaten track while still being handy for easy access to Bamburgh, Seahouses etc. - so in great location for local cycling and sightseeing. The veranda got the best of the sun in the afternoon and evening. Cottage was very comfortable, clean, quiet with good parking facilities. We arrived early just to drop off bikes but staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we actually got into the cottage early. Phone help from Host and Stay also very good. The availability of secure bike storage was an unexpected bonus.
The bedroom was huge so could have easily accommodated more clothes storage - and a few more hangers.

Liked Welcome pack, milk and necessaries for cleaning. Loved having a balcony. Decor was good and very clean. Plenty of towels, good shower, plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. We will definitely look to stay here again.
It was difficult to find initially but once positioned in relation to surrounds we found it easily enough. GPS location said we were at our destination next to a field.

The keys to Daisy Cottage were not in the key box. Another couple had taken Daisy Cottage and it was quickly sorted out we could use Poppy Cottage for the week. This problem could have easily been prevented by not having the same key code for every keybox.
The hallway and stairs and the wardrobe in the bedroom in Poppy Cottage have a damp wall. A radiator is needed in the hallway to prevent damp and this wall probably needs looking at for damp. It faces north.

The property is lovely and was immaculate. The area is so quiet and peaceful, with gorgeous views. The rooms are good sizes and easy to control the heating, and bonus points for the easiest to use shower! Great as a base to see the sights nearby, but we could have quite happily just stayed in the cottage it was so comfy. Even came with a pint of milk in the fridge which was nice. Towels are provided and are nice and soft proper bath sheets. Shampoo, shower gel and hand soap in the bathroom, with washing up liquid and fresh sponge in the kitchen along with anti-bac wipes. Kitchen is well appointed but no baking tray, which would have been helpful. Laundry room is also available if needed too - we didn't use it though. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lush. Brilliant stay, would not hesitate to recommend, perfect for a quiet relaxing get away! Overall cannot fault anything really.
The hot water pressure wasn't amazing (cold is fine) but did the job. WiFi wasn't the best but if you're just scrolling on your phone etc it's fine.

It was very clean and in the summer would be an excellent location to stay . Newcastle and east coast all within easy reach. If you like peace and quiet, then this is the place for you.
WiFi was down for the majority of time we were there and before Storm Arwen arrived in earnest.
Windows were very drafty and dirty. Property was ALL electric, we lost power during the storm and all our food went to waste. Storm Arwens fault and not the owners. But, if power cuts are frequent in this very rural location, perhaps a gas cooker might be better. We could of least cooked something or boiled water for a hot drink.
No welcome pack. I think this adds a nice personal touch, perhaps something to think about.
