Had a lovely stay at blacksmiths cottage, perfect location loads within walking distance. The home itself was lovely, very clean and fully equipped. The host was helpful and friendly, will definitely be booking again :)

We had a great holiday and was an ideal base for our days out exploring. It was wonderful to get back at the end of each day and relax in the hot tub. The property was lovely, clean and well equipped.

Blacksmith's cottage was fantastic. Was just as advertised, including the hot tub!!!!! The location in Amble is great with off road parking for one vehicle. Was clean, well furnished, dog friendly and right across the road from the Wellwood Arms pub (great atmosphere and good food with very friendly bar staff and patrons). 200 meter walk to a Coop, less than a 5min drive to Morrisons, close to the harbour where the fresh fish is lovely. Less than 10 min drive to Druridge Bay beach (the part we found), just a fab place and area, highly recommend.

Beautiful and big cottage. Great location as 10 minutes walk into Amble town and central for exploring Northumberland. Used the hot tub every day which was brilliant after a day out. Amble is great with lots of pubs and good restaurants. Will definitely be back

my second stay here and this time with 5 girlfriends. it was lovely to be able to chill out in the cottage after a day exploring. we certainly made use of the hot tub and also the games that had been left.

All fine except cooker hob very temperamental, clearly an issue and this was reported as was broken toaster and tin opener. WiFi inaccessible for half the stay. Hot tub good Peaceful and clean.

Great location at the top of Amble, easy to walk to the harbour and close to pubs and shops. Nice big rooms, the hot tub was a great addition for warming up which we used everyday. We had booked for 6 adults, only 5 of us ended up coming but we got a phone call asking us how many people we had staying and were told the house is for 4 adults and 2 children... there is nothing on the listing saying this so a bit disappointing to be contacted like this and felt a bit like we were being monitored.

Lovely property, Lots of amenities and 10 min walk to local beach. Hot tub is a nice touch and v welcome after days out. Lots of space inside. Only minor annoyance was very very small master and ensuite over toilet sink not great when you have children to get ready. Imagine it woukd be tricky for a group larger than 4 given this situation. Landlord lives next door so on hand if any issues .... although she did come over at 10pm one evening rather flustered even though we hadnt reported anything (she has a monitor to check heating and it said it was off ... we hadnt had an issue) so this was a little strange. Amble itself as a location is fantastic .. would recommend to others with children.

loved the cottage. plenty of space. within walking distance of the town centre and well placed to get around and explore the North East. we visited with another couple, a baby and a dog. I would recommend and visit again.

Had a lovely stay at Blacksmiths Cottage over New Year! Such a lovely house walkable to restaurants/pubs, shops and the beach. Clear, easy instructions to check in, felt right a home, lovely spacious property with the added bonus of a hot tub! Would 100% recommend and hopefully return! 😊

Well situated accommodation for visiting Amble and surrounding areas. Despite being on a. jay road and opposite a pub there was no overnight noise. Slightly tricky trying to get cars out onto main road during day. Great enclosed area at back with high quality hot tub. Probably a little grass would have been nice for dogs, but they supplied dog crate and dog bed in house which was unexpected and a lovely surprise. En suite bathroom very small and water pressure in showers not great but otherwise everything sparkling clean and comfortable. Would recommend to others. Defo recommend Bertrams in neighbouring Warkworth for Breakfast!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is in a fantastic location and very well equipped and clean. The hot tub is fab addition and the family enjoyed relaxing in it after a busy day. We would love to come stay again.

Lovely cottage in excellent location. My husband and I stayed for a week with our two teenagers and used it as a great base for touring parts of Northumberland-coast is beautiful-Warkworth beach a few miles away was a favourite (we even had sunshine). Parking and hot tub at the cottage were good extras; well equipped kitchen with welcome tea & coffee; clean and spacious throughout and great check in, communication and check out. Would definitely recommend

Blacksmith's cottage is a lovely base when visiting Northumberland. Amble is great with all the amenities you need. We found the cottage clean, comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub was fab.
