This apartment is great but there were a few inaccuracies in the listing such as free parking which is not guaranteed. I felt like there were alot of missed opportunities to elevate this from a great apartment to an excellent one. Mainly down to the owners trying to maximise their profit margin.

Cosy, comfortable and clean. It's where we'll try and stay on our next visit. Pannett Park and museum directly across the road. Easy walking distance into town.

Had a nice stay in the flat over looking the park. It was clean and tidy and well equipped. It is on street parking but always found a space. Easy walking into the centre of Whitby or catch the bus. We will stay here again when we come back to Whitby.

What a beautiful apartment! The apartment was exactly as described and worked well for my family. The apartment was very clean, comfy beds and a super shower. We loved having a washing machine and dish washer for the week too! The apartment was in such a great location, we could easily walk to the beach or the town and my children loved having a park across the road. We were lucky enough to park outside the apartment for a few nights or we parked further up the street some nights which was free parking. We will definitely be back to stay!

We booked quite last minute for a mini honeymoon getaway with our 2 children. The apartment is in an excellent location, we were easily able to walk into the town/beach etc. there’s a brilliant park directly opposite with play area which was great for the kids. The flat was clean, tidy and well stocked with everything we needed. Communication beforehand with the host was great. We managed to get parking on the street outside (although this was quite busy). We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area that this would be a great place to stay!

The best thing about this property is the gas central heating and hot water - we were able to keep warm and have lovely hot showers after a day out walking and exploring. The entire apartment was very tidy, other than the terrace that was accessed from one of the bedrooms. Housekeeping had missed that the previous tenant had left their black bin liner of rubbish there and it was rummaged by foxes overnight leaving lot of rubbish scattered all over the terrace. Housekeeping could only come the next day, so we had to clean up the rubbish as it was unhygienic and to ensure the foxes did not come back. The kitchen is fairly well equipped; there was washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, but you need to bring your own washing tablets/liquid for the washing machine, cling film and foil. The hosts were contactable, responsive and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just as described and we felt right at home. Great location for walking into town, yet a quiet location with a beautiful park across the road.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. It was perfect for our needs and only a short, but enjoyable walk in to the quayside at Whitby. The kids loved the play park across the road and overall it was a lovely relaxing experience. Thank you.

The place itself was accurately described and in a good location. The lower rating is due to two things: 1. There is a “safety” deposit requirement. Your options are either a £250 deposit that will be returned upon checkout if no damage is found (though a £10 fee is not returned) or a £25 deposit that is not returned. I have not had this with Air BNB before and did not appreciate that this was not included in the cost when I was choosing accommodation. Air BNB has ratings on customers to avoid this. 2. They are super stingy on consumables. Upon arrival we found no hand soap (bathroom or kitchen), dish liquid, or dishwasher tablets. We planned to eat in so this was a problem. When I contacted the host, they did bring the items the next day but when I asked for more toilet paper as well (there was only the single in use roll) I was told the policy was 1 roll per bathroom even if more than 1 person and more than 1 night. Just ridiculous.

Very well situated apartment. Clean and well appointed. Our one complaint was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Two unhappy kids!
