The space
The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area at Lobster Pot Apartment is a spacious and homely space. The living area is decked out with two comfy sofas and a flat-screen TV with Sky, perfect for cosy nights in.The kitchen is kitted out with modern appliances so you can whip up whatever you fancy when you get back from exploring all that Whitby and the surrounding area has to offer.
The dining area is perfect for the whole party with a square, gloss-wood dining table and padded seating for all four guests that the apartment can accommodate.
Lobster Pot Apartment’s first bedroom is a large double room with plenty of storage to keep your belongings out of the way during your stay. The space also has an ensuite shower room which is an added bonus!
The second bedroom in the apartment is an ideal spot for children and teenagers to retreat to during the evening thanks to its twin beds. Hangers and drawers are also provided, so every effort has been made to ensure that you can feel well and truly settled in at Lobster Pot Apartment.
The main bathroom is well-equipped for your stay. With a bathtub and overhead shower, a wash basin and WC complete the space.

There were 4 in our group and we found the apartment to be modern, comfortable, spotless and more than adequate in terms of space for 4 adults. Every requirement is catered for within the apartment should you wish to prepare your own meals and relax indoors. A home from home. The property could not be closer to a host of bars and restaurants. The railway station is but a few minutes walk away. If we had a question via email, we received a response generally in minutes. The host also publishes a phone contact for any questions or issues that may crop up. The best accomodation we have booked via Airbnb. We will definitely look to book this property on our next visit to Whitby. Great apartment in a great location.

Giving this a 3 star for location only. Location is great right in the centre can walk pretty much everywhere. parking is a nightmare not many spaces in the bays suggested/ free parking. The apartment itself needs a totally deep clean the floors are filthy the showers are thick with limescale and everywhere has a sticky touch. The enterance hallway stinks and then the living room smelt of gone of milk/sick smell (has improved since we moved the fridge off the wall) the dishwasher is out of use and did not leave any washing up liquid so be prepared to buy your own! If your light sleeper this isn’t the place for you the weatherspoons pretty much move there kegs every night all night from 1am then have deliveries early morning Would not stay here again.

Positives: Great central location. Beautiful view from the living room. Great facilities (except no washing up liquid) - host provided shower gel, shampoo, soap, dishwasher tablets. Plenty of space for two adults and a toddler. A good price that's competitive. Parking discs provided and clear information about where to use them was given. Also pay to park nearby was only £10 for 24 hours. Cons: Carpets were dirty and so were the laminate flooring so our socks got dirty. Blinds and other surfaces were dusty. Limescale in the bathroom/showerhead hasn't been tackled in a while. The double bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable - springs sticking up. Pillows for the beds were wafer thin so lots of broken sleep. A suggestion for ear plugs for future guests as the bedroom windows are above one of the smoking areas for the pub next door. Likewise, another pub near by had music playing until late. Storage for food other than the fridge/freezer would have been useful.
