We had an amazing stay at Violets View in Whitby. The house was superb, we were impressed with how clean, modern, well set out and spacious it is. The beds were lovely and comfy, lounge fantastic as a family room and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in! Host and stay were great - kept in touch, provided plenty of info about the property and very helpful. We look forward to visiting again.

Super waren die Badezimmer für jeden Raum. Das große Sofa. Haus war perfekt.
Der Weg vom Hafen zur Wohnung ist allerdings sportlich. Aber man kann auch den Bus nehmen.
Supermarkt war auch ganz nah. Sehr ruhige, angenehme Lage.
Bei Problemen hat man sofort jemanden am Telefon der versucht zu helfen.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es wäre schön wenn ein paar grosse Töpfe in der Küche wären. Es gab einen grossen Topf. Aber wenn man für max 8 Leute kocht sind die Töpfe zu klein.

We booked this weekend for a friend’s holiday to celebrate a birthday. The price was reasonable for 8 people and the pictures were spot on. There were a few little things I wasn’t personally happy with like not having spare washing up liquid and kitchen roll and we did find mouse poo behind the sofa. Apart from that it was lovely and clean upon arrival and I love the little treats we received ◡̈
Overall I would recommend as we enjoyed it, also was really close to pubs and shops and Whitby bay (within walking distance if you want).
Also the place was amazing for having 5 bathrooms with 4 being ensuite.

Our stay was amazing Host & stay team welcomed us with local sweet treats.
House was cosy in a peaceful location, clean, ample parking, close to amenities and short drive to Whitby town centre.

The house was lovely and clean. Great welcome pack. Downstairs felt spacious and four ensuites were a bonus. We loved all the little seating areas outside. The exterior was also well kept.
Lots of off road parking.

The cushions outside were absolutely sodden (only on one of the seating areas). Given the mostly dry weather lately, this was a surprise.

It was large, clean and modern. Tv in each room even though one was in German and would not let me change the language.

The mattresses were very poor. I could feel the springs as I lay on them. Very thin walls. You can hear everything
