Room was great when we finally got in. Instructions on how to get in did not state to return the key to the key holder after opening the front door. Another tenant had taken the key and two couples were waiting outside until the other tenant turned up and gave us a key to get in. It needs a clear statement on the key that it needs to be returned to the holding container after use. There was a strong smell of pet food in the common hallway and later in the room. Pet shop next door but the Pet shop staff were very helpful.

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Alnwick. Read all the notes before booking as there is an unexpected £250 deposit and you only get £240 back due to 'admin' fee? This is not clear in the booking info. Despite being an old tea warehouse and staying in Darjeeling apartment there was no teapot, or coffee maker and requests for these were refused. There is also no ambient lighting in the lounge area which isn't conducive to relaxation. These are very easy things to fix and would greatly enhance the experience.

Lovely comfortable, well equipped and clean apartment above the shops right in the heart of Alnwick. Lots of interesting places to visit and explore right on the doorstep. Great hosts who made the stay an easy experience.

We had a lovely stay in the flat. It is in a great location and the hosts guide book provided lost of information about finding the place etc. The flat was well cleaned and had plenty of amenities in the kitchen. It is nicely decorated and modern. Overall we had an extremely enjoyable stay in the flat and we were pleasantly surprised at the value for money!
