The space
Upon entering the apartment, you’ll be welcomed into a bright and stylish space. With clean walls and plush carpets throughout, The Normanby is a breath of fresh air.The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is spacious and light. Kick back and relax after a long day of exploring the coast. Switch on the flat screen TV to catch up on your favourite shows or take some time out with a good book.
In front of the huge bay window, you’ll find the dining area. The light wood dining table and chairs fit the minimalist style of the apartment. Enjoy breakfasts after lazy mornings and delicious evening meals with your loved one.
The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. With an oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, washing machine, microwave and coffee machine – you’ll have everything you need for your stay. You can even make yourself a fresh coffee to start your day!
The bedroom is a tranquil haven with a comfy king-size bed and stylish furnishings. Pops of dusky pink work perfectly in the room and the feather-like ceiling light is an elegant addition. The room is complete with a dressing table and mirror.
Also sharing the same building is Silver Beach and together the apartments can sleep up to four guests. Please get in touch with our friendly team with preferred dates to enquire about booking both apartments together.
Outside you’ll find an enclosed patio area with four wooden seats. This is shared with guests staying in Silver Beach.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.We provide a parking scratch card for your stay which gives you free parking in the W zones

Some of the properties by the same hosts don’t have the best reviews… but we got a last minute discount for the May Bank Holiday weekend.. so we risked it.. for £90 a night this place was a bargain. Fittings & furniture are basic, but well styled and put together and perfectly functional. The rooms are massive - we didn’t notice the travel cot or the dog!! Haha!! A few DIY bits would make the place 5* and there was a black stain on the carpet which stained our socks (hosts informed) but other than that well equipped for a weekend away. Great location, easy to park, easy to check in and quiet. Thank you.

The apartment was great. It was clean and modern and everything you need. It is only a short walk away from the centre of Whitby and is near some charming pubs and restaurants. I would have preferred some better communication on how to check in however, I only got confirmation on how to check in at 3.30pm and I had already set off by then so was very stressed until I managed to check my phone in Whitby. The apartment was also very cold when we got there about 12c (the thermostat is easy to work though), nether the less minor things and we throughly enjoyed our stay! 10/10 will definitely stay again!
