Turning off the road onto a farmers lane, we weren't sure what to expect. When we got to the property we were met by the owners - very friendly people! They'd even brought treats and a blanket for the dog!
The property itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The goodies in our welcome package were awesome! We also made great use of the outside hot tub.
All in all a great property - we'd totally recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing time away.

Kelvin and Amanda were the perfect hosts. We stayed in the Bay Loft with our family of 6, there was lots of space for us all. Cannot recommend this place enough as what Kelvin and Amanda have done is absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back.

The property is exactly as shown in the post. The host met us at the property and welcomed us, they even had some dog treats ready for our 4 legged friend. The property is spotless and everything is to a very high standard like the bathrooms and kitchen. The hot tub was maintained every morning and was ready for us to use straightaway. We will definitely be returning.

The beds aren’t very comfortable, you can feel the springs as you roll over - especially in the single beds (in both rooms).

It would also be nice to have some padding for the wooden benches as the chairs aren’t very comfortable to stay outside.

We loved our stay at the Hayloft. Amanda and Kelvin were extremely friendly and helpful. The welcome basket was lovely and the house was very well equipped for small children, with stair gates, child-locks on cupboard doors, a travel cot and a high chair. The garden was secure for the dogs and there was even a secure paddock for them to run in. Brilliant attention to detail and the house has been refurbished to a very high standard. Perfect retreat for families with children and dogs - we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed on arrival by Kelvin and Amanda who had biscuits for our dogs.
The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect break.

Beautiful place hidden in a farm!
We loved our stay, the rooms were spacious and the hot tub was a plus!
The hosts were very accommodating and even left condiments and cake waiting for us on arrival, which was such a lovely touch!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a countryside trip away for relaxing or taking up some of the trails and heading to the beach!

We had a fantastic mini break here at the hayloft for my daughter’s 8th birthday.
Great that it is dog friendly even catered for dogs, we were given throws, dog treats, rub down mittens for those wet walks!
Great location , felt peaceful and great to visit the sheep and lambs on the walks and the odd hare!
Hosts came and met us on check in , very friendly.
We could not fault anything with the hayloft , it is fully equipped with everything you need, they even offer laundry service if you require!
Hot tub is a fantastic treat both my children loved it! We enjoyed relaxing under the night sky whilst they slept!
Great over all experience, lovely touch with the welcome tray , we really appreciated that it was very welcomed!
Big thank you for making our mini break so enjoyable and home like 5⭐️ hope to return in the near future! Thank you 🤩

We stayed at the Hayloft with our 3 furbabies, and what an incredible 3 nights we all had! Perfect location for a peaceful few days away. The area was ideal for taking the animals to the beach or different countryside walks, and the surroundings were beautiful. The owners had thought through everything and there was a useful guide in the cottage with numerous things to do and see. We finished the stay with a lovely steak dinner in Saltburn! Definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Hayloft. It was beautifully clean and with amenities like a hot tub and wood burner, it felt extra luxurious, compared to a lot of Air bnb properties I've used before. The downstairs bedroom/bathroom was perfect for my mum who requires accessibility (there is one single step - she managed fine) and everything we could have needed was provided. There were even a few extra touches like milk, a loaf of bread and locally made cake left out for us. The guidebook was so helpful - lots of information about things to do/local places to eat - and the host was so responsive/accommodating. We would absolutely return.

Beautiful converted Hayloft. Really well decorated and designed. 3 good sized bedrooms and all beds comfortable with crisp white bedding. Comfortable lounge with 2 large sofas. Wood burner was a great bonus. Kitchen was functional and clean. Excellent quality equipment. Private garden for cottage with hot tub.

A really lovely place. From the outside the amount of space inside is quite decieving. The whole place was clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of space to spread out and very well equipped. The hosts were there to meet us and we were greeted with tea, coffee cake and fresh milk. Lots of informatii was provided about the local area and ways to get around. A great place for hikers to stay with maps, torches, binoculars provided. The hot tub looked great and well maintained but we didn't have chance to use it.
A lovely stay and an ideal base to travel round the area.

The best airbnb I have ever stayed in, everyone in the group was so happy with it.
It is immaculate, beautifully styled, very modern. The hot tub is gorgeous and very spacious.
The location is a perfect countryside retreat. If you want an escape surrounded by gorgeous views and fields as far as the eye can see, this is your place!
You walk through the door and feel at home instantly due to the beautitul furnishings and little touches. They really have thought of everything!

You won’t regret staying here. It is a beautiful place and the location is so peaceful and relaxing. Its a short drive to beautiful local areas. We would definitely stay again. It was clean and well presented. The hosts are fantastic and very welcoming. An extra bonus was the dog safe garden and some delicious treats left for us and the pup.

Nothing about the hosts/property. Host & Stay are a little off-putting. £250 security deposit required (£10 retained for admin) or £25 insurance. I imagine most will opt to pay £25 insurance - I would have preferred to have this included in the booking made with booking.com. I opted to pay a little extra with booking.com to include free cancellation up to 2 days before, but was hounded by Host & Stay for the deposit or insurance upon immediately placing the booking. This sort of took away peace of mind we could cancel without losing out.

We had a fantastic stay for a couple of nights. My only complaint is I wish we stayed longer. The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. It was spotless from top to bottom. The hot tub was absolute bliss, so relaxing. Loved watching the geese on a morning off on their travels and then coming back again on the evening. It was amazing to see a beautiful white owl as well. The owners Kelvin and Amanda were lovely and on hand if you needed anything. The welcome pack was unexpected and so nice. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We loved everything about our holiday. The location is fantastic and is so quiet. Low Waupley Farm I a stunning farmhouse. Everything was provided (we brought everything from home thinking we would need it) but Amanda and Kelvin the owners had provided everything from some amazing baked goods, fresh farm milk to leashes, water and food bowls, towels and brushes for the dog.

There was also spare batteries for the torches that were in the top drawers of every side cabinet. There were also guide maps for walks in the moors around the farm, compass, binoculars and bird books which my daughter loved.

The property was super clean and every utensil is thought of. There is a information folder for every bit of equipment including the boiler and hot tub and local information for public transport to chippies and pubs.

Absolutely loved our stay at Low Waupley, wish we had booked for 2 weeks.

A definite must if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time away.

We cannot fault a single thing at Low Waupley. Amanda and Kelvin have everything catered for and thought of. They are amazing hosts. 10/10 for everything.

The farm cottage had been refurbished to a really high standard and was immaculate. It was very comfortable and everything had been thought of from board games, books, wifi and smart tv. The kitchen was well equipped and dog / child friendly. The hot was great to relax in. The owners have a great set up and should be super proud of how it has turned out.

Nothing. To be super critical the only thing could be improved would be to have a retractable washing line to dry towels / costumes near hot tub and outdoor cushions for the seating area.

I stayed at the Hayloft for 2 night with my husband, 1 year old son and 2 dogs and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. It genuinely felt like a home away from home because of all the thoughtful little things they had done for us. There were stair gates at the top and bottom of each set of stairs, a high chair, travel cot, dog bowls/treats/throws/mat/poo bags, literally everything we could have needed for our family to be safe and happy. The back garden was completely secure too so we didn’t have to worry about our son or dogs getting out. They had also left us some bread, milk, tea bags, cake and crisps on our arrival. The house was absolutely immaculate and so cosy. We are already planning our trip back.

Friendly welcome from the hosts, who have really thought about everything in the Byre, and the standard is very much quality and luxury. It was spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The "welcome tray" was a lovely gesture and very appreciated. Located slightly off the beaten track, kind of in the middle of nowhere but only 15 minutes from Whitby and Saltburn on the sea, so total peace and relaxation which is what we wanted. The private hot tub was lovely and we made the most of it. We honestly could not fault a thing, and will definitely return.

The cottage was lovely and we enjoyed using the hot tub. We received a warm welcome from Amanda and Kelvin and loved the welcome pack they provided. We found the location quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of more touristy places like Staithes. The only downside was getting constant messages from Host and Stay in the run-up to our visit saying they were going to cancel our booking because we hadn't completed the verification process (which we had).

Very helpful and friendly. A lovely place to stay. The Hayloft was super clean, comfy beds and easy to find too.

We booked the Hayloft at the beginning but the host told us the booking has been cancelled just one day before the check-in date. We have to changed to another place from the host but there is a price difference. They said they will issue us refund, but not until we made lots of calls. The price difference should be £170 in total, but I only get refund for £32.34. And we don’t get the detailed calculation at all. Endless calls…

And one of the bedroom’s radiators doesn’t work, they said someone will come to fix in the morning but no one showed up at all.

Basically what they promised they never do.

We stayed here for two nights and we wished we could stay longer because the hosts made our stay so welcoming, and the facilities were perfect. From the welcome pack, log fire and jacuzzi these made our stay even more perfect when a storm hit one night! We will be back for more lemon cake as well!

Great welcome from the hosts, welcomed with blankets for our dogs and dog treats.
The small touches like crisps, cakes, bread and jam etc were a nice surprise and greatfully received.
Our accommodation was absolutely stunning, beautifully renovated to a high standard, and very clean. It is spacious yet warm and cosy.
The facilities available for cooking were great. We brought a lot with us incase but didn’t need to use it.
Our party of 5 had 2 brilliant nights sleep.

Ample parking in the front courtyard. To the rear a secure fenced garden for the dogs. Garden furniture to make the most of the space. The highlight being the hot tub.

If you are looking for something a little off grid, to relax and enjoy time together. This place is perfect. Value for money.

Only slight issues we had was horrendous flys in and around the hot tub, and wifi was poor for kids to connect to tablets on an evening once settled. Probably not an issue for most but nearest shops are also 30 mins away.

The cottage was absolutely wonderful. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything.

It was really private yet really open so the scenery was fantastic. Child locks on all the kitchen doors, stair gates, socket plug covers.

The rooms are really spacious and lovely. The bathrooms super clean and efficient. The hot water is instant and really hot.

Everything about our short break was really really lovely.

Fantastic stay at the Hay Loft, the accommodation was spotless, the owners cleaned and checked the hot tub every day.
The views from the Hay loft across the Yorkshire moors are stunning.
The owners have thought of everything, even our dog was spoiled with treats on arrival.
We will definitely be back.
